OK I have not watched the video in it entiredy but like the idea someone is finally focusing on the "HOW TO" basics for programing in YAML. There is so much missing in order to allow the hobbyist to jump in and start using this great approach. We need more examples. The motor control was not all inclusive more was the treatlife spst switches. ANd there are more folks see the ability to create YAMLS using the wizard but it needs to go further than just creating the Wifi connection in the yaml file. Now back to my scheduled show.
Thanks for your videos, I understand the syntax, but thats what everybody explains. What I would be interrested in, what is the logic in all this? For example there are template under Sensors, there are template that include a sensor definition. The logic of those keywords really confuses me. It would be nice to have hints, what keypairs are valid below which definitions. This for me is really frustrating

Sorry for the fast pace videos, is there another creator which does HA content at a more calm pace? Unfortunately for the UA-cam algorithm we need to be quite quick pace to keep the viewer engaged.
I thought you ask once for an example what I think it's very good. Look at ua-cam.com/video/ICuWjPp3L9Q/v-deo.html A good pointer. Explained everything!! Almost the right speed. Everything is good but start at 8:12

You mention using " ' " for text is "not cool". Can you explain why? In ui automations, their text entries are wrapped in " ' ".
It seems a more a formatting point rather than a functional one, the document might give more detail!
