Dawson Precision makes a good fiber optic front sight. Armscor makes some good plinking ammo 180gr for $19-22 per 50 rounds. Use it for practice and Underwood for serious stuff. I run a #20 spring in mine. It makes it harder to rack but works well. The heavier spring helps to keep from beating up the pistol. Jennings makes a special guide rod to help with that too. The accessories are plentiful. Good Review.
Love the 10 mm, I've got a couple Colt delta elites and a 6" STI. I reload, I like Alliant 2400 powder, with Starline nickle plated brass, I've got about 3000 nice reloaded bullets, this way I can shoot a lot at the range.
I just bought 500 rounds of Armscor at Cheaper Than Dirt $220.00 including shipping. Not real hipower but middle of the road . Premium ammo no problem but practice is sometimes tough . Try Midway I've bought just about every brand and bullet weight but haven't tried Underwood yet but will very shortly . Some are snappy but very manageable in my EAA's . They will shoot anything .
These videos have totally made me add this to my want list heh. As for ammo I can never recommend underwood ammo enough, the only problem is they've been having a real hard time as of late keeping stock so actually getting a hold of the stuff is kinda impossible :/.
If you're look for some bulk ammo check out Georgia Arms. Their website says they are sold out, but if you call them you can place an order. Good prices for bulk purchases.
ammo incoming from underwood. thanks for the heads up. ill be sure to post up a follow up video with some steel targets once i have some ammo to shoot.
Other full power ammo to try is Double Tap, Buffalo Bore, Winchester Super X, Federal Vital Shock 180 gr, Hyper Clean, Sig and HSM. The 10mm makes for a great hunting round too but I don't know what the rules in Washington are for handgun hunting.
I stumbled across underwoods website lastnight. I have never heard of them before, but their prices are reasonable and they have inventory so that's a double bonus. thanks for the heads up that they are a good ammo company.
Great review. I have the same gun in .45 ACP. My wife liked my pistol so well she wanted one for herself!. I agree with the grips, My .45 was an older version and did not have the rail, but did come with some comfortable rubberized grips. The plastic grips on the newer models I didn't like as well and agree with your observations. I've have a few FTF and stove pipes, but I found it to be the ammunition I was using not the gun. I use Georgia Arms ammunition here in the south. It runs good and is fairly inexpensive also they ship across country. Good luck with your 10mm!
Underwood makes the best full power 10mm ammo. Armscor and purvi partzan makes the best underpowered 20$ plinking ammo. Dawson presision makes the best fiber optic front sight for the witness. You can buy what they offer or order it any particular hight and width you want.
I have picked up a bunch of underwood to do some testing with different gr. bullets and velocities to see what my gun prefers. spring is here and shooting will be underway soon.
Buddy and I recently chrono~ed some Nosler 135 and 150 grain bullet handloads using 800X powder.. near 1600 FPS out of my Elite Match with the 135s, and perfect function. I'm going to be carrying Underwood 135s on the street, with that handload for training and storage ammo for the zombie apocalypse. Making my own Doc Holliday leather crossdraw holster/harness right now to carry this horse pistol!
Also the weather here in WA has been a bitch lol Last night my car windshield froze from both the inside and outside. I hate it when it's icy but there is no snow
Shot the 10mm in the 80's Colt Delta too much gun for my mind set then. Now older and a reloader I understand a little more about shooting in general 10mm is a lethal cartridge. Recently bought Glock 20 for hunting... If I may ask can I have your 10mm brass or sell it to me I reside in Portland, OR?
Sloppyjoe999s, It has been a couple of years since you posted this review so I just wanted to ask what your opinion is now after hopefully putting a few thousand rounds down the tube. Do you still own it? I want one real bad but live in California and it isn't on the approved hand gun list, so I'll have to find one used. If at all. But I am thinking about moving to Arizona and if I do then I'll be able to buy one brand new. For plinking ammo try the online bulk manufacturers like Minuteman Munitions, Georgia Arms, Freedom Munitions. Buy a case and save a bunch of ammo and it is fine to train with.
I don't bother buying in stores. Way too expensive when you're dependent on their local market and their own individual inventory. Online only. Ammoseek.com rocks. Collects prices real time from dozens of other sites, lets you sort and filter at will, and even grades vendors by shipping prices. But Underwood.com is still the most bestest for defense. And they do 10%-off sales every season.
damn that bad boy spits some fireballs! pretty gnarly man! check out lowpriceguns in Bellevue, they got good prices on ammo. they usually got 10mm there
For non-Underwood ammo options, check out gunbot.net/ammo/pistol/10mm/ Also check out the load data on the 10mm-firearms forum to see how the various offerings compare, velocity-wise: 10mm-firearms.com/factory-10mm-ammo/10mm-factory-ammo-master-sheet/
Hahaha you are right. I need to work on not making these videos while "shooting from the hip". I should rehearse or think out what I need to say first, but I also like to give raw thoughts and not sound as if I am trying too hard or like a paid spokesmen ;)
sloppyjoe999s Yeah, let me make a review video. Ten minutes long and 9 mins and 56 seconds of me saying ummmmmm.....trust me I get it. I only have nothing but respect for all the people I'm subscribed to that make these review videos. Or any type of opinionated video. You never know what someone might think of your opinion(emphasis on opinion).
You'd think for a guy who has to talk to people all day for a living I'd be better. Maybe if I think about the camera as being a person and not a camera I might do better.
What? And make a perfect video? Screw that. What else am I and other internet trolls going to make fun of. I say take the fifth grade learning approach and make fun of yourself instead of letting the bully do it for you.
Check CopperGunGrips.com on a fix for grips for Witness. Also as mentioned, Underwood. PBR Ammo for you west coast folks. Also www.gunbot.com under 10mm caliber. Wolff Springs for stout loads. I ran a 18lb recoil when I had Match. Nuke stuff you can bump it to a 22lb spring. Henning Shoots has a Cone Guide Rod that's silky smooth and will save internals from battering. Sights can be had at Henning or Dawson Precision.
Though it was fifteen minutes of redundancy and boredom, I REALLY appreciate your video! I have been considering a Tanfoglio 10mm and your review has helped solidify my decision. You may want to get ammo at BulkAmmo.com or Ammo.net.
negative. i decided to release it from my inventory. it was too much of a "NICHE" gun. way too big to carry and way too expensive to shoot a lot. now, if i can get my hands on a small compact SBR style rifle chambered in 10mm, i would be all in.
SloppyJoe in Seattle I agree, in all honesty 10mm is excessive unless you're taking it as a defense sidearm when hunting and might encounter tough animals, I live in central Texas and the feral hogs are tough as nails. Seen 9mm bounce off their skulls and them eat a few 45 acp's before throwing in the towel. That's the only reason a 10mm would be practical imho.
Jaime Perez yeah, I like the round but like my 44mag it's very much a once in awhile use round for range or plinking. And too expensive to shoot even for fun
If your serious about keeping the gun I HIGHLY recommend www.czgrips.us I've had nothing but good experience with them when it comes to the 75. And for custom grips they're pretty reasonable
Georgia Arms is decent for remanufactured ammo. Gunbot.net as someone else mentioned. I would also recommend taking a look at Hennings offerings for tanfoglio parts. I purchased a conefit guide rod and it fits very nicely.
I've wanted to compare the recoil on that CZ75 platform vs. my 1911 but I don't know anyone with a Tanfoglio in 10mm. I go shooting in Bellevue, anyway I can try the gun out? I can't even find any for sale in that model to take a chance on. Pm me at dpcoronado@sbcglobal.net when you can, thanks. P.S. I don't know if you ever found ammo but I've been getting mine from Ben's Loans in Renton for years. They have DT, Sig, and quite a few others, as well as target stuff.
I have it in 45, and love it...yes it's big and yes it's heavy, but man does it perform...
Best stock trigger ever... Love it...

Good Review.
This is a very nice gun.Very nice shape and very nice look.Black and white.fantastic gun.

I have been experimenting with different springs and weights of ammo. also found a good polish to the feed ramp helped as well.
Underwood makes the best full power 10mm ammo. Armscor and purvi partzan makes the best underpowered 20$ plinking ammo. Dawson presision makes the best fiber optic front sight for the witness. You can buy what they offer or order it any particular hight and width you want.

We shoot year round here. It never gets too cold for very long here in NE Texas.
Well aren't you special! Haha. Well I ski in the winter so it works out well I guess.
As of 1/23/21 good luck wolf has a spring kit for tanfiglio to handle heavier loads try some 135 gr. Underwood
Hey man, great review. I was on the fence but now I'm ordering one. Thanks a lot.
Xavier, I agree. if its gonna be this cold it had at least better be snowing as well. this cold and sunny BS is getting on my nerves.
Buddy and I recently chrono~ed some Nosler 135 and 150 grain bullet handloads using 800X powder.. near 1600 FPS out of my Elite Match with the 135s, and perfect function. If only I wore heavier clothes, then I could carry one of these. I'm always hot so I typically wear light clothes year round.
Stefano Dogg how did your holster turn out?
Cant wait 4 the video with multiple loads!
Nice pistol. Thanks for the review. 25 feet sounds a lot farther away than 8 yards, eh? ;)
Also the weather here in WA has been a bitch lol Last night my car windshield froze from both the inside and outside. I hate it when it's icy but there is no snow

Great vid. I'm convinced. Going to buy one.
Lots of times they come out again, and you can get a good 6-700 dollar price on them, and all of the sudden they are back up to over $1,000
When there are none coming from the factory.
Online has the ammo between 16 and 20 bucks .
You might try talon grips
Not any more for 600 , now 991.00 , and the is polyquatugonal barrel so no shooting lead ammo
ammo seek is great.. the only thing bad about internet prices is shipping

LAX Ammo out of California. Its not powerful but very reasonably priced. 250 rounds for about $85. Delivered to your home.
I don't bother buying in stores. Way too expensive when you're dependent on their local market and their own individual inventory. Online only. Ammoseek.com rocks. Collects prices real time from dozens of other sites, lets you sort and filter at will, and even grades vendors by shipping prices.

ill stop by tomorrow
fenix ammo has great ammo 180gr1375fps 25$ for 50
Thank you for the review, i think i might get 1 :) ... Is it 10 round magazine ? Do they have a large capacity mags for it ?
standard is 15rd mag, but it only really holds 14.

Have you tried Cabela's?
Would of only been 13 mins of wasted time if you'd of cut out all the "uhhs" and "umms". Just kidding bro, good review glad to see someone likes it.

I could make a video of me going "uuuuuuuuum" for a few minutes and post it up hahaha
Do you own any other 10mm pistols? Thanks Charlie
No. I've shot a few over the years, but like these the most
Hav u considered reloading?
Check CopperGunGrips.com on a fix for grips for Witness. Also as mentioned, Underwood. PBR Ammo for you west coast folks. Also www.gunbot.com under 10mm caliber. Wolff Springs for stout loads. Is it too big for concealed carry?
No but almost. It is definitely big and heavy though so it's borderline. Depends on clothing style and where exactly you plan on positioning it.
Start reloading!
Dawson sights

what range was that i feel like you cleared me out of the lane next to you that day with that thing
Issaquah sir. I was on the last pistol Bay ;) indoors it's really loud.
Yup right on, looking to get a gen 4 g20 soon for my stubby mitts
Do you still have the 10mm Match Elite?
negative. i decided to release it from my inventory. it was too much of a "NICHE" gun. way too big to carry and way too expensive to shoot a lot. now, if i can get my hands on a small compact SBR style rifle chambered in 10mm, i would be all in.
SloppyJoe in Seattle Kriss vector is chambered in 10mm I believe, if you can afford the thing!
Jaime Perez that's interesting! But, those are a silly price point for a toy like that
SloppyJoe in Seattle I agree, in all honesty 10mm is excessive unless you're taking it as a defense sidearm when hunting and might encounter tough animals, I live in central Texas and the feral hogs are tough as nails. If your serious about keeping the gun I HIGHLY recommend www.czgrips.us
I've had nothing but good experience with them when it comes to the 75. And for custom grips they're pretty reasonable
Dear Santa
Sellior & Bellot

Try (gunbot.net), they offer real time update on current supply and price of ammo sold by companies online.
if you still looking for good ammo

10mm? Impractical...
No Names. All in preference, my boy, all in preference. This round is a "do all" round. A 40 sized handgun with 41 magnum power. Awesome!
