I heard that slender never had an FPS cap in the 2013 version making Genesis and other Maps harder if you ran on more than 60 FPS, but other than that I sure as hell think they nerfed him.
There is an optimal route you can follow for this level, since its based on the original 8 pages level, the optimal route from that game applies to this level because its the same
Original was at least ten times harder. I finished all Arrival versions like on a first try on PS3 and PS4. Map also feels much, much smaller than on the original. Did they cranked up difficulty even a little for anniversary edition?
It's also easy when you use a trick with the PS3/ XBOX 360 version. Beat Genisis once, then play again & Slender will NOT appear at all... making that one achievement/ trophy super easy.
Believe it or not this attempt wasn’t just a one-shot, it took me about a hand full of tries to get it in under 5 minutes the day before this was posted, so this upload you see is really Day 2 Attempt 1
@@typervader Honestly it is still quite easy. On 2.0 it took me a handful of retries to beat chapter 2 and 3 while on the 10th anniversary update I aced them in one attempt. They either made it too easy or broke something, who knows. The one chapter that keeps giving me issues is this one, because Slender Man just decides that he wants you dead and instakills you, it's so annoying.

@@LuchoArrival im still terrified to play Chapter 3 that mining level is terrifying but hearing that its potentially easier is a little comforting
