    Derrick Rose led his team to the conference finals because he has a good team. Who did Chris Paul have?! THE FUCKING HORNETS! He had to struggle to even drag his team to the playoffs let alone get to the conference finals. And Chris Paul is statistically one of the greatest point guards of all time just because he's not as flashy as the overrated Derrick Rose doesn't mean that he isn't significantly better.

    Chris Paul is my favorite player and the BEST PG. He is the clutchest pg(6 game winners this season), the best passing pg(9 asts to 1 turnover ratio), the best defending pg(led the clippers to a top D in the league and lead the league in steals AGAIN), the smartest pg( 2.1 turnovers a game which was the lowest for any starting pg), and always top 5 in the mvp race every year. RESPECT GREATNESS- CP THE BEST PG AND A TOP 5 PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE

    Thanks for pointing that out Rulerking777, that's only CP3's stats tho. Don't forget how he controls the entire game with his game IQ, change of paces, feeding a hot hand, and coming up clutch in the most difficult situations. He gets superstar calls sometimes, but honestly he's a veteran. He turned the Hornets franchise around as much as he did the Clippers. People overlook how consistently Chris Paul dissects the game, but "jumped on the bandwagon" once he joined Blake and DJ.

  • @tsmit44

    Even though Paul's numbers went down in the playoffs for the Clippers he was still doing better than most. He had about 18 ppg, 43% fg, 87% ft, 8 assists, 33% from three, close to three steals, and 5 rebounds average. The only stats that dropped were ppg and assists. His teammates weren't finishing so of course his assist numbers would suffer.

  • @rulerking777
    @rulerking777 12 років тому

    Chris Paul is the best because he's an 'oldschool' pg like Magic - he has great court vision, produces almost no turnovers but tons of assists. Though he still can score when he has to and is arguably one of the best clutch players in the league. I prefer his style over the modern "go crazy and try to do all the scoring myself"-pointguards like Westbrook.
    Another thing that makes him great is that he makes everyone on his team more than a tad better.

  • @poetryselite
    @poetryselite 11 років тому

    I agree with everything in your comment with the exception that if both superstar PGs were traded, that the Clips would miss the postseason. Sure, they'd probably face a 1st round exit, but they'd certainly make the postseason. However, if CP3 were a Thunder with KD, they would win a title. But the addition of Doc Rivers (a top 3 coach in the league), they'll not only make it out the 1st round, but will advance to at least the conference finals, and hopefully a shot at a title. Just my take.
