Footblasters on axis vs build-in ekit? Why convert? Can you explain your motivation on it because in pretty sure you've tried both of them! Thank you very much
Jean-René Michaud I studied the same case and I’ve learned that Footblasters are way more modern in terms of technology, working with drum module settings and sensors, they are harder to wear out and they are more adaptable than ekits. That’s why Footblasters are more preferred

Can you also tell us the rest of your roland tm2 settings? sensitivity etc.? That would be great :)
Threshold and retrig cancel should be the only things that matter for proper trigger response. Sensitivity regulates the dynamics of the sound of the sample

Depends on what you mean. Swinging the pedals in a fast speed will not give you a good sound unless you do it with a good amount of force behind it. Being able to swing the pedals to tap the skin is much easier than doing it with force, which is why people consider it cheating. That doesn't mean that tapping the skin is easy, it's just easier than doing it without triggers.
It depends. I mean technically you can have a good (and loud) sound, without necessarily being able to produce one (at the tempo you're playing) without triggers.

@@EugeneRyabchenkoDrummer Sorry, I guess my comment was a bit ambiguous. I wasn't talking about a specific tempo or your actual playing, I was just refererring to Matias' comment that triggers are never cheating. In your case I would definitively say that this is true because you sound sick with or without triggers. Same goes for every professional drummer who uses them in front of an audience.
But there are not so advanced drummers out there who use triggers constantly during their own practice with a PA in the reheasal room for example. Imo they disconnect their ears from the actual sound their feet produce on the real basedrum.

Im just hitting 210 bpm hands singlestrokes and sometimes 170 bpm kick single strokes
I suck so hard at drums 😭
I can reach almost 270bpm on hands but can't reach 200bpm on the feet. Talk about frustrating. I've been stuck for years and unable to play the music I like.
@@king-manu2758 learn double strokes/heel toe -- solved that feet problem for me (it's surprisingly easy). Now the hardest part for me is hands.
