Right before the end of the year, a brand new vehicle hits the HemiStorm studio, the Losi PolaRey! Modeled after the popular side by side off-road vehicle, this 1/7th scale Polaris RZR replica is ready for your scale trail, dune and mudding adventures. Description as found online:

Seen often in the dunes of Glamis, the trails at MOAB and the grueling off-roading segments at King Of Hammers, the Polaris RZR Pro R is a popular base to customize. We have already set the tone with a custom roll cage, MagnaFlow exhaust system, Fox Racing shock absorbers and a full Baja Designs light kit. The PolaRey is ideal for adventure-minded off-road enthusiasts looking for the top-of-the-line RC experience with the inclusion of AVC and the three-position limiting switch. With the PolaRey, Losi continues to push the limits when it comes to scale details, performance and officially licensed products."
Powered with the known Spektrum 130A waterproof ESC which is paired to a 3150kV brushless Spektrum motor, the Losi PolaRey is the latest in the line of 1/10th scale Losi Rey vehicles. Advised is to power the vehicle with a 3S LiPo max, and swapping batteries is easy with their unique back loading battery system. The PolaRey stands on licensed Interco SuperSwamper tires which are 5.4 inches tall, mounted on a tough design 1.9 sized wheel. An overload on scale details like a radiator, brake discs and calipers on each corner, a detailed interior panel with a driver and co-pilot, exhaust system and shock reservoirs complete the look of this all-new vehicle, setting the tone for 2023. Horizon manages to inspire with their product range once again, triggering innovation and creativity.

Is this a Fireteam body on a Rey chassis? The passenger is positioned identically to the Fireteam.

Yeah I don't believe in the word basher really. I think every RC should be treated respectfully and jumped scale to the vehicle. Personal preference of course.

Its kind of funny that 2 months later losi came out with a rzr rey I wonder where they got the idea too bad its not nearly as good as yours.

I dig it, I'm usually not super big on the SXS stuff, but I think Losi did a really good job on this one, and that blue is just sharp 🤌 the included light kit is a great feature to add icing on the cake!

I WILL say - my first thought on seeing it was that’s a Fireteam body. I’d just been messing with mine. But I just assumed HH used a body from an RC that do great in sales on something different.

Hi Donald, that’s correct. I had thought the use of the Arrma FireTeam cage and body plus the mention of Hammer Rey would have made it more obvious than it apparently has. So in brief, it’s available if you’re willing to mix the ingredients and challenge yourself to do a fun build this winter. I appreciate you watching!

It’s nice. Where I live side by sides are what hick wannabes drive to the the store to get more beer, when they are too drunk to drive. So, not my style. I really like the Baja/Rock Rey chassis though.

Cage and body have a lot of resemblance to the Arrma Fireteam. It's ridiculous. I mean it looks way better than the Fireteam of course but it's kinda weird. Will we see LMT axles on the next Axial? Or maybe a Wraith Cage on the next Arrma? Like I said, it explains the Fireteam Sale. It seems to be more than just a joke.
I still can’t believe they were selling FireTeams for $399, so much value for money it’s just crazy. 🤯

Losi and Arrma have clearly been working together. They made a Typhon together and it looks like Arrma have them some parts to make this one. Body looks cool
They have one of the most versatile parts selections between both of them and I can see inspiration trickle over between divisions for sure!

Scale is very relative these days. I like that it’s a bit larger, easier to work on and feels more substantial.

2. The RZR isn't mimicking the Fireteam. The Fireteam body is based on the Westworld UTV which is based on a RZR.

How much of that cage comes from the Fireteam 6? It looks very similar to the cage on the Fireteam.

It looks very nice the LED lights and transmitter are what the Fireteam needed but I can’t get with bottom loader RC’s they should have just made a smaller DBXL chassis that would have killed it.
The DBXL is a nice truck for sure, I guess I’m ramping up added detail it becomes harder to make things accessible. Thank you for watching!

Yes, I’m not too worried dropping 4S in there. Just keep an eye on motor temperature and don’t go crazy with the wheel size.
Gonna have to wait for the Honda Talon version. That looks to heavy to carry out of the trails.
