その通りです。よくご存知ですね。紺野太樹さんはとても人体の上手い方ですよね。美大で日本画専攻だけのことはある。私もファンです。
マジでセル画アニメが蘇ったのかと思った。この色彩の落ち着いた感じがたまらない。

むしろOPとEDに価値が集約されているだけでは
放映当時、どこかでひっくり返してくれると期待して最後まで見た結果、酷評した
ただ、このエンディングとオープニングは神憑り的な秀逸さがあった、マジデスを最後まで見れたのはこのエンディングのおかげと言っても過言じゃなかった。
腕を広げ尊大に魔法少女に囲まれるオタクヒーロー、一方でアナーキーに生首にされていて、夢落ちとも取れる結末を示す不穏さと、意味深で神秘的な映像が圧倒的な画力で余すことなく表現されている
そして未だに新曲は出ていないが、The 13th tailorのGospelion in a classic loveはマジデスの結末を示すとともに、ほろ苦く切ない曲調と歌詞が凄く映像と親和していて本当に素晴らしい。
本編が終ぞエンディングを超える事はなかったけど、少なくともこのEDとサイケなOPを生み出しただけ世に出た価値はあったと思う。
これらの映像や音楽が何処かのクリエイターにインスピレーションを与え、真のマジデスが生まれる事を祈っている。
このedの映像見てると実は本編は病気のオタクヒーローが見てる夢なんじゃないかとか考えちゃう
そして曲が綺麗すぎる

本編の方で、魔法少女のそっくりさんが現れた時にオタクヒーローじゃなくアナーキーの顔が一瞬砂嵐混じりにバグってアナーキーが頭抱えてる場面はちょっと気になった。
OPEDの歌詞聴くと胡蝶の夢っぽい気もする。

この絵のタッチが好きすぎて本編これで描いてくれってめっちゃ思ってしまった

@@ninja3212 mans woke up and chose violence. The show itself is already wild enough based on the first two episodes to warrant an artistic speed core esc opening, so the opening doesn’t necessarily mean anything especially messed up or game changing is gonna happen. Ok just saying that I am of the belief that it probably will, and I hope it does.
I think there is some death illusions of the otaku hero and/or time loop involved
@@rdrukh8948 I’m guessing what’s happening isn’t even real, or isn’t what it seems, although the lyrics do allude to a never ending loop. It could be both.
I'm about 90% sure it's a timeloop. Our MC being all sad scientist to start with and this ED kind of backs up the theory aswell.
Am I the only one who gets time loop vibes from this. The countless bodies of Anarchy, Blue and Red on the beach and the implication of Otaku Hero dying at the end makes it feels like he has experienced this many times before.

満月の日には事故や事件も多いと聞くし……考えすぎか…?

I REALLY love the presentation and absurdity. It gives me nostalgia for when I'd find an obscure anime by chance.
That shot of him triumphantly posing with all the girls all over him with biblical undertones is comedically unsettling, and how the lyrics mirror the disconnect from reality.
“I’ll see her smile when I close my eyes.”
Also, the shot at the end with Otaku hero being surrounded by the girls feels to me like a visual embodiment of his image of himself in his own mind. The images portrayal of him is so overly grand and contrasts so unbelievably heavily with the dreary, haunting, and almost gross feeling of this ending. The sounds, the color palette, the lyrics, it’s all wrong. Also, the girls are all on school uniforms.
Here’s my loosely strung together theory based on two episodes and these opening and ending songs. Otaku Hero knows these girls in real life, probably school, but he’s a social reject. He’s inserting these girls into his stereotypical adventure hero fantasy. He’s also very likely done something horrible involving these girls or to himself or both. That’s just where I see this going as of right now with what I have to go off of. The way I see it, if things were to pan out exactly how I described, you could go back to the opening and ending and see where it was foreshadowed. Mainly in the ending.
Also the lyrics talk about not regretting “what I did for her”. Bro killed these girls and is inserting them into his fantasy I swear.

It's quite rare to see an anime that utilizes music sung in English by a singer whose native language is English.
Although at first I actually thought this song was partially sung in Japanese because the lyrics are tricky to make out.

Why is everything from magical destroyers so creative
Okay okay. Now I know I could be an idiot overanalyzing a batshit anime trying to take a stab at 2008 tropes with no other sense to it, but I’m on the boat with some other people that the opening and ending point to something more psychosocial thriller about this show.
There’s the constant water scenes with the underwater stuff in the opening and the shore in the ending, with the girls in the ending looking deceased almost. The lyrics both mentioning dreams and in the ending specifically to “see her” still inside said dreams to “all live again”. There’s also a lot of flower symbolism everywhere with nearly all of the ones I saw representing insanity or death unless I have the flowers wrong (white lilies, red spider lilies, white alyssum, etc.). And also in general how nonsensical the anime feels- sure it could be anime but at times it feels like a big dream.
My theory is this: the three main trio of magical girls are all dead somehow involving water. 2011 setting made me think tsunami but I don’t think so- something else. Slayer (purple one) was involved but survived- considering the flower she’s covered in, holly(?), represents luck and she isn’t in the ending with the most death-implied imagery.
Otaku Hero either is continuously dreaming the main plot of the show and the girls in a way to remember them whilst they were alive, or more aligned with the ending imagery he’s in a coma in the hospital and the anime is his coma-dream or whatever. He was the closest to Anarchy, hence why her flower in the opening is (maybe not sure) forget me note which represent eternal love. Pink’s face and voice are unknown and gibberish because he never saw her face or voice prior to her death, assuming it as he goes.
If this anime just turns out to be a nonsense Kill La Kill style show I’ll eat my hat in shame at my own brain but you know. Food for thought.
I feel they're making the plot twist too obvious in this ending so maybe that's just a red herring. I hope it's something way more complicated than just "he's in a coma".
If we look up to Christian subcontext, then water could mean baptism, which also relates to resurrection. Therefore, the opening is 'bout Jesus' life before crucifixion. And ending is about crucifixion and aftermath. Three girls then signifies myrrhbearers. The anime is contamination of two points of few: Jesus-Otaku hero, who is in hell, surrounded by all dead people. And the second point of view is girl's. Anyway, the op and ed are simply magnificent.
the creator said he was inspired by madomagi which has A LOT of parallels to this. even the flowers are the same. and madomagi is also about time loops and refusing to let those close to you die.

Crazy theory time:
Present day of the anime is 2011, when Japan was hitted with it most powerfull earthquake ever recorded, causing some catasthropic tsunamis and tons of death.
Both the ending and the opening of the show has this "water/sea" theme. The ending is pretty obvious and on the opening you can notice, for example, the girls transforming on their current magical form after being submerged and the mc walking in a flooded area.
Maybe the MC is in a coma or something and the girls are people he knew that died for the waves? Don't really think it's going this way but still wanted to comment about it lol

I’m so amazed by how good this anime is so far just off the first 2 episodes plus the opening and ending are so damn amazing whoever created this anime and thought of the idea is such a genius I just wish original anime was more known cause no one really talks about them but they’re always hidden gems and some of the best anime to come out in the seasons

One of the best endings I have ever seen. Imposible to not love Magical Destroyers. I wish time let this anime to one of the most originals.
we got a glimpse of something weird going on near the end of episode 3. The screen glitches and anarchy got that headache, and then at the end of the episode wondered what that “awful feeling” was. Then, at the very end of the episode after the ending song, the picture of Anarchy was all glitched out. This show is on some Doki Doki Literature Club type stuff I’m telling you. Even if what I theorize ends up being false, so long as this show unveils something going on behind the scenes and executes it well I’ll be extreme happy that I saw it coming.
Hopefully in 2 or 3 episodes more we gonna se if a theory become real haha
And something i can confirm is that these girls aren't "real girls "
They got gifted to the protagonist like if they were dolls, and there's a new girl that look identically to anarchy
@@jakiro749 I talked about it on much greater detail in one of the other comment threads here and in a few other UA-cam videos, but my theory is that otaku hero is mentally escaping into a trashy hero power fantasy where all the girls love him, but the reality is much more sinister/tragic. The way everything in the story feels haphazardly thrown together. The pacing, the plot, the events of the story, it all feels like a losers crappy main character fantasy. I think that otaku hero knows the girls in real life but is a complete loser and the girls ignore him. He’s inserting these girls into his fantasy, possibly after doing something drastic either to himself, to the girls, or both. The glitch near the end of episode three as well as the glitched out picture of anarchy at the VERY VERY end of the episode after the ending song is basically confirmation that the show IS hiding SOMETHING. I’m just hoping that whatever they unveil is game changing and not within the confines of the current plot we’ve been presented with. My fear is that whatever they do unveil won’t be anything all that crazy, or that what they unveil may be crazy and game changing but it’s executed as poorly as the rest of the show. Ideally, it turns out that all of the problems plaguing the show exist because my theory is correct and it’s all otaku heroes fantasy. We’ll see though.

I have no idea if this show is good or not but this ED is S+ tier
in this seemingly simple and rather incomprehensible ending, a very important thought is hidden about the state of the main character. i think this ending shows the reality of what is happening in this anime.
The ending and opening give me the Zetsubou Sensei vibes, where the series themselves are pretty comical and even absurd but the ed/op give some hints at what could really be happening, I'm so interested to where this anime is going
