Ive used this pattern 3 times now and it always comes out great but every single time, on both the front and the back panel, there's one bottom corner that just does not match up to the tutorial. When I get to the last row there's still way too many stitches to work into. It's so weird because I follow the pattern exactly. My first attempt at the pattern, I figured it's beginners mistake and I missed something. But now it's 3 times, on 6 panels 🥴 and honestly it doesn't matter really bc I just improvise and then when I sew everything together it's not noticeable. But I just wonder if this happens to anyone else EDIT: I have made the sweater 2 more times since I left this comment and it no longer happens LOL but I truly don't know what the problem was to start with. Anyway just keep trying!

Congratulations and won an entry. finally, how wonderful to have subtitles in Portuguese. I'm going to make this sweater. kisses from Portugal 🇵🇹!
I am making it in bigger size and I am just soo confused about the shoulder part cause the curve part of my sweater to where the first row of shoulder part supposed to end is a little lower and if I make DC 27 times then it doesn't come out well

i feel like chenda isnt the best at explaining her instructions. it takes me like a row or two to figure out what i did wrong lol. like when she says inc then dc, ur supposed to end the part with inc not the dc
Would this also work with half double crochet stitches? I want to use this tutorial for the body of a sweater I'm making super fluffy, teardrop shaped sleeves for, and those are made with HDC Edit: I'm gonna try it and see what happens! It might not work, but it can't hurt to try, right?
I did that by adding more rows before progressing to the neck part. So add rows after row 13, it worked just fine :D however, it moved the heart motif a little lower, but I don't mind it.

@@ratman5269 Hello, thank you so much for your help! I already finished it cause i was in a hurry (it was a xmas gift) but i appreciate you a lot! ♥ Also i dont really remember what i actually did but it worked hahahahaha

****NOTE**** I'M REALLY SORRY FOR THE BLUE YARN, IT IS 270g NOT 230g
I'm really sorry guys for the blue yarn. It's 270g not 230g
@@chendadiy Is the yarn used a weight 3 or 4 yarn?
@@chendadiyif yiu make the heart part bigger is the rest of the panel the same? Like the shoulder and bottom part?
This looks stunning definitely making this soon xx
So so Beautiful I’m going to try this for my daughters for Valentine’s Day❤️
Thank you for sharing your Amazing gift 🌹
Thank you so much I'm going to crochet this when my exams over
(12/4) 36:21
(12/10) 38:28
(12/11) 47:50 (I didn't do 5 incr, i did 3 bc I am going to add more rows,, maybe up to 15 or 17? then i will do 5 on last row's incr
(12/24) finished extra rows, starting @ neck part 47:56
(12/30) finished neck part as instructed, except I didn't do instructed rows 18-19; it will be too big for me bc of the extra rows I did previously arghhhhh. I don't think I should have done 17 rows (21 in total for heart + neck part), I should have done 15 (19 total) but anyways I'm too far to unravel 😅 FOR THE SHOULDER PART 01:04:32, I'm gonna have to do this very intuitively--maybe don't skip the 4 st? and just dc like normal at edge? AHHH but I also forgot that bc I did extra rows, the st number is gonna be off and the neck part isn't as high as it should be... oh well... time to strengthen my intuitive crocheting skills 😅
I love you marry me baby
It looks gorgeous. Absolutely doing this after finishing your tutorial of the cardigan inspired by Harry Styles 🥰
Велике дякую за чудовий мк!!!
I'm making it rn. And I'm using acrylic yarn. But i don't like how it looks on the bask side. So instead of turning my work I'm going backwards. It's working amazing. A bit hard but amazing.
How do I make it bigger? I have made up to Row 14. It's a lovely pattern, thank you so much.x😊
so excited to make this!! as soon as i finish some of the other projects i have to work on, i know i'm going to come back to this one and have a blast making it. thank you!!
I really like your videos. Can you do lirika matoshi cloud sweater?please,☹
Plz rp!!I want it too🗣
FINALLY!!! I’ve been looking for a pattern like those for soooo longggg thank you!!!
I wish you could say how many DC to do when you say to just crochet to the marker. Or put the total of stitches at the end of every round. I kept losing track and I had to pause and count your stitches every round 😢
Row 1:
Chain 18
Skip 3 (work on the fourth)
Increase 6
DC 4
Decrease 5
DC 4
Increase 7
Ive used this pattern 3 times now and it always comes out great but every single time, on both the front and the back panel, there's one bottom corner that just does not match up to the tutorial. When I get to the last row there's still way too many stitches to work into. It's so weird because I follow the pattern exactly. My first attempt at the pattern, I figured it's beginners mistake and I missed something. But now it's 3 times, on 6 panels 🥴 and honestly it doesn't matter really bc I just improvise and then when I sew everything together it's not noticeable. But I just wonder if this happens to anyone else
EDIT: I have made the sweater 2 more times since I left this comment and it no longer happens LOL but I truly don't know what the problem was to start with. Anyway just keep trying!
Happened to me too
same thing with me - what I found best was to keep repeating rows 4-5 until I had the same amount of stitches she had for row 11! which was about 12 stitches.
For those of you struggling with the bottom part, I did it like this and had the right amount of stitches at the end:
Count 57 stitches from the "heart valley stitch" in both directions and mark the 57th stitch. This will be your starting point.
Row 1 (RS): Ch1, sc dec, hdc, (2x dc, dc inc) x3, 40dc, 4dc together, ch1 and fasten off
Row 2 (WS): Ch2, 42 dc, 3 hdc, 2 sc, slip stitch
Row 3 (RS): Ch1, turn, sc dec, hdc, dc, 3x dc inc, 36 dc, 4 dc together, ch1, fasten off
Row 4 (WS): ch2, 36dc, 2hdc, sc, Slip stitch
Row 5 (RS): ch1, turn, sc dec, hdc, dc, 3x dc inc, 27 dc, 4dc together (skip last stitch), ch1 and fasten off
Row 6 (WS): ch2, 27dc, 2hdc, sc, Slip stitch
Row 7 (RS): ch1, turn, sc dec, hdc, dc, 3x dc inc, 18dc, 4 dc together (skip last stitch), ch1, fasten off
Row 8 (WS): Ch2, 18dc, 2hdc, sc, Slip stitch
Row 9 (RS): ch1, turn, sc dec, hdc, dc, 3x dc Inc, 10dc, 4dc together (skip last stitch), ch1, fasten off
Row 10 (WS): Ch2, 10dc, 2hdc, sc, slip stitch
Row 11 (RS): ch1, turn, sc dec, hdc, dc inc, 5 dc in one stitch, 6dc together, chain 1, fasten off
For the bottom part on the right hand side of the heart, repeat, but keep in mind that whether a row is RS or WS is now switched.
Same thing happens to me, I guess instead of counting 12sts from slst in first row of the bottom part you can count 16sts and attach yarn in the 17th stitch
@@ayebaremarion1286 yeah I think that's the best way to go! good suggestion
incredible... great work and best way of teaching... thanks😍 moving toward part 2 😍
Can you pls tell me how to make it with bigger size ?
Hi! UA-cam just introduced me to your channel and I loved it. you teach very well, show what you are doing from near and far so that we can understand the work. Congratulations and won an entry. finally, how wonderful to have subtitles in Portuguese. I'm going to make this sweater. kisses from Portugal 🇵🇹!
I’m making this right now but in white, light gray and dark gray. I’m very excited!! Thank you for this tutorial!
I am making it in bigger size and I am just soo confused about the shoulder part cause the curve part of my sweater to where the first row of shoulder part supposed to end is a little lower and if I make DC 27 times then it doesn't come out well
Just FYI to anyone who isn't a med. or small, if you want to increase the size without changing the pattern just use a bigger needle and/or yarn 😊
Any idea how to increase the size with a 3mm hook?!
@@hiranmayeeshankar9729how much would u like to increase it? I can probably help but I only did 3 extra rows so it’s 51 cm wide (20 inches) and 55 cm (21.6 inches) long, keep in mind that you’ll also add the ribbing so it’ll be abt 60 cm long (23.6). Let me know

Could you please tell us how to make it for big size..Thank you
Nagulat ako sa tagalog subs.. Thank you for this tutorial💓💓
i feel like chenda isnt the best at explaining her instructions. it takes me like a row or two to figure out what i did wrong lol. like when she says inc then dc, ur supposed to end the part with inc not the dc
Yea cause the same is happening to me
Same just making some minor tweaks to the pattern is helping me out tho
Beautiful
Would this also work with half double crochet stitches? I want to use this tutorial for the body of a sweater I'm making super fluffy, teardrop shaped sleeves for, and those are made with HDC
Edit: I'm gonna try it and see what happens! It might not work, but it can't hurt to try, right?
Making this as a Christmas gift ❤️
Hi, i love this pattern! Can i make the panels wider without adding more height to the neck?
I did that by adding more rows before progressing to the neck part. So add rows after row 13, it worked just fine :D however, it moved the heart motif a little lower, but I don't mind it.
@@ShehzeenKhan13 does it become longer when we make it bigger?
@@ShehzeenKhan13 hi! I know it’s been a year but how many extra rows did you do? I’m a size XL and am trying to figure out how to size up the pattern

Draken (Tokyo revengers) cardigan tutorial please 🥺
starting to love it so far
Thanks for this. I have a question though. Is there a way on how I can adjust the size so the length is just about my waist?
Beautiful sweater.
Question: how do we know when to adjust/increase/decrease etc if we need a size large instead of a small?? I'm a plus size princess and the count in the video was a little small for me
Hey did you figured it out?.. Id like a 2x the smallest I’m using a 6.5 and it’s looking like it’ll be too small 😰
Yess I like your work and thank you for this...and I hope you're happy, healthy always and take care always
is there a written pattern? I would really appreciate that
He querido hacer este suéter desde hace mucho tiempo, agradezco demasiado que nos compartas el tutorial, muchas gracias!!!! :)))
Can you link the yarn that you used for the pattern? Or please just let us know how many yards or meters of yarn it requires. Thank you a lot, love your projects!
Well, she uses 550g of yarn and 100g in 4ply is rougly 290m (if the wool I bought is to be trusted). So, 6 balls of yarn should work perfectly!
