This song makes sense, as in a way eren has no side in this conflict anymore, as he is the enemy. he is the founding titan, that power he possesses now with having also having the warhammer and attack titans, he just sees that the world deserves to fall due to seeing him as the true enemy of mankind.
Dont be too hasty, we Dont know what His true motives are yet.

Something I like about the series is Eren has no true role. He is mostly protagonist but also antagonist. The thing is he is the main villain but he is also the main hero.

1. _"Everybody wants to be my enemy"_ - obviously symbolizes how everybody turn against him and he's fighting them alone.
2. _"Spare the sympathy"_ - points out Reiner and Zeke trying to sympathise with Eren. But those sympathies are pointless. Because they have a false cause. And Eren is leagues farther from them and he's too OP for their sympathy.
3. _"I'll never be a saint, no way"_ - how much accurate and IRONIC is it regarding Eren! His name literally means 'Saint'. But he took an opposite road.
4. _"But I'm ready"_ (0:55) - He's been ready and we saw it since the last episode of season 3.

Idk what anyone says , aot has one of the best plotlines....its such a well written story....might be my fav. Plot after full metal Alchemist brotherhood....

Interestingly enough, this song is very relevant. Everyone went from being on his side to turning in him. And the ones that once didn’t like him like Flock turned to him to save Eldians. He is the protagonist. He’s not the antagonist.
The song sounds more like it’s about betrayal. When people see you as weak, that’s where they want you to stay. The moment you start thinking for yourself and actually fighting for what’s right, you get villianized and thought to be crazy when you actually know there’s no other way to get the job done than to make tough choices. Being a leader is hard and you often end up looking like the bad guy even though you’re not.
Yeah but it stings when the people you are doing all that for are the ones to become your enemies, dooming all of Eldia (the greater good) because they are weak.
I can't emphasize enough how much i love aot. The complex powers at play, both inside and outside Eldia hits just the right spot.

Knowing that Eren is the villain and the hero at the same time gives me goosebumps.This story is so well written.Eren used to be so extrovert but after he saw the future he became so sad and cold knowing that all the things he is gonna do in the future is so disgusting but he knew even if he didn't wanted it,Including him nobody could change the future.If we see the things he have done then he is the villain but if we read his mind then we get to know he was the true hero.
