Dr. C. Baxter Kruger and Paul Young talk about Dr. Kruger's book, "The Shack Revisited," which examines the theology embedded in Young's original narrative.
William Paul Young is the author of the best-selling novel "The Shack" and "Cross Roads." Dr. C. Baxter Kruger is the founder and the president of Perichoresis, Inc. and of Mediator Lures. He obtained his doctorate working with James Torrance in Aberdeen, Scotland. He is also the author of "The Shack Revisited."

So good, so encouraging, so hopeful, and so helpful as I open myself to Love. If God is Love, I am learning that I can trust him without fear.

Through Adam and Eve's deliberate disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden, all humanity was fallen. Jesus made a way for all humanity to be redeemed by His death and resurrection. Will humanity acknowledge their need for His redemption and forgiveness?Will all humans be like the thief on the cross next to Jesus and acknowledge their wrong doing and their deserved punishment? Will they acknowledge that Jesus is The King of The Kingdom, like he did? No, of course not!Christians do this and receive the Holy Spirit. They are the only ones to be fully saved and forgiven and will be with The Triune God for all Eternity in Heaven. Non-believers will go to Hell. Amen.
Forgiveness precedes repentance. I pray you will have a mega change of mind too, which is what the original word means, and stop thinking of God with your fallen mind. Jesus paved the way for us to see God as he truly is, not a punishing, fearful being, but one of infinite, unfailing love and forgiveness. Only when we see this, can we trust God fully to restore us to the way we were meant to be.

Jesus Christ died a brutal death on a cross, took on the sin of the world, died and rose again.
His forgiveness is there for you if you want it and to be with Him forever in Heaven.
If you don't want Him and His forgiveness, you will pay for your own sins in Hell, and eventually you will perish.
The greater the crimes, the greater the time in Hell.
Your choice Rachel - Heaven or Hell.

@@noweternity3101 I just listened to this for the first time and read your comments, my takeaway was way different then yours. What penetrated my mind was when Jesus said if you’ve seen me you’ve seen the Father . What was Jesus saying , look how good God is. If I never choose him he still chose me . If I never recognize all he did for me he still did it. We are children of light that sometimes live in darkness and that is our hell. My daddy loves me because he created me and will never abandon me, not even death will separate us from the love of God. I hope you’ve had a change of mind about God.

What I hate is a Sect and False Teaching.
The Shack is sickly sweet and froth and bubble.
The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as He, check the Bible out and read ALlL the verses not just a select few that a Sect relentlessly thrusts upon you - get some really sound teaching under your belt and you won’t be deceived by this very sloppy, slippery teaching.
