I just made this with pvc pipe, spray paint, and some fabric from the thrift store. Only cost me about $12 and turned out super cute!

I like the idea and the look, but I would probably sew the bag and acetylene weld the copper piping for durability. Both are way way easier to use than they sound! Acetylene welding is extremely simple and only slightly more complicated than gluing. And the inexpensive equipment could be used to make a zillion more things! A copper pipe flower trellis is another cool thing that can be made in 20 minutes with a small torch. I think the cost is abridged by the fact that if properly made, this could be your laundry hamper for life! Copper will never go out of style! The bag could be updated every few years.

Being a sewer/quilter I almost had a panic attach watching you glue those seams (you did say we can sew the seams) . It is a really cute pattern and you two are adorable. I would like to see your corner seams. Im currently trying to sew this and struggling with the corners.

okay this is a cool idea, but wayyy expensive, with the tools pipes and fabric you're looking at $50 for a laundry hamper... not really worth a DIY... PVC and spray paint would be cheaper.
