It's difficult to express how much this band meant to me around this time. Green era Weezer wasn't quite the same but the setlists have improved a lot in the last 5 years
I was at this show right in front of Matt. It was the first concert I ever went to. there's a version somewhere online with better audio. it was a great show.
Dear =w=, please take us old school, hardcore fans back to these setlists in a future tour. Going to these shows back in the 90’s were some of the best times of my life. I need it again.
jimmyk058 I need to see this, I'm only 16 so didn't get a chance to see them in their prime but I would love to see performances of Pinkerton and blue live (would also be very helpful if they came to the UK)
Ducc I’m with you brother. I’ve seen =w= 34 times with most of those shows being in the 90’s and early 2000’s so I got lucky. Things have certainly changed now as the crowds are much more tame and mainstream but I think that would change if they started playing setlists like these again. Old school fans like me and young fans like you deserve it.
In a way I can see why Matt either left to pursue his own songwriting ventures or was maybe even in a way pushed out. River's songwriting just needs a straight ahead bassist, something he has proven time and time again he can easily just overdub himself. Matt was always way to show off/showy, his stage performances always had like in a way a "Look at me give me attention",too much of a style.
Cuomo is obviously brilliant, and his work has stood the test of time, but Matt Sharp appears to have been the ingredient that gave Weezer the wonkiness that made it truly original. Once he was gone, Cuomo's talent remained, but the weirdness that made Weezer truly original disappeared....things such as falsetto attemps to sing with guitar soloes and just generally the weird, fun garage band style backup vocals.
Well, material doesn't get written the day before the album gets released some songs were written in 1994. And it was December most of the world besides america uses DD/MM/YYYY.

Holy **** this show
Rivers just nonchalantly killing it during Falling For You
This is the best Weezer performance and set online, easily.

20:48 brian doing bad things to the amp
Man, this show would have been EPIC to attend in person.
I was there man! It was EPIC! I also saw them in Gainesville FL at the University on this tour as well.
Too bad I wasn’t alive
This gig is amazing. I'd have loved to be there
The only thing that could make this concert better is if they closed with Only In Dreams
glad i found this because i think another video from this show was taken down
Shit, you're right. I watched that video like once a week :/
@@wmvnotmp4 its back up tho so its aight
this is just fucking nuts. Arguably their best performance
i can't believe they played you gave your lincoln continental to me relatively easily in a good fashion. Such an underrated weezer song.

They have other good shit than just blue and Pinkerton tho
Aw man, all the things I would do to be alive during the 90s :/

Their best set list and sound and energy on stage.
TWO DAYs ago, 20 years of this show, love weezer forever!!!!!
What a fucking show
That performance of "Getchoo" was epic!
29:16 I thought ‘Falling For You’ was on Pinkerton but Matt says it’s on ‘Maladroit’
this performance of tired of sex gives chills. everything about it
Brilliant. Every song.
Thank you so much for posting this!
What a setlist!
This is how I will always want weezer to sound and play live with this set
This is probably the best live concert they've done
This video is why I love the older weezer
My best friend was there in the crowd, he was 12.
Man this performance was lit af.
Ahhh, the times where they only play their hits. :)
I almost screamed when Matt started singing The Trooper
What’d Matt hand to Rivers at 17:06 ?
Awesome. I miss Matt. Scott I great though.
they rock
Weezer at their best in everything...
Right, this one's from the fourth album
No Pinkerton and the Blue album the 1st and 2nd album.
@Pieratt107, he was talking about Matt Sharp jokingly said "fourth album" when playing "Falling For You"
最高に格好良い
where did the 2001 electric factory show go !!!
26:22
I was there 😬😬😬
That’s so cool that they started off with tired of sex
The new stuff!
Rivers's Guitar looks like Billie Joe's famous blue guitar in this performance.
rivers is so cute

+OfficialMikeThomas respectfully disagree

Setlist is so Kreygasm
Why is it a christmas tree on The stage

How was this in may of 96 if the album came out in September
