Like I said in the video, it IS heavier than the stock one, but since we aren’t legally able to own PCCs with barrels shorter than 16” in Hawaii, I’ll take the added weight and call it good.

You should make a video on installing a barrel extension on your scorpion3. Some folks like a longer barrel and can find them on e-bay or other places, besides it looks cool.

I looked into it as well and it seems to be the best you can buy for that price. Maybe one day I can justify getting a vortex. anyway LOVE the scorpion brada! that thing looks like a gun from DOOM legit.
True that on the grumpy RSOs, and yes it’s a lot of fun if you can get up there early before it gets crowded and sketchy. I leave Waimea at about 430 so I can get up there before sunrise, usually that gives me about an hour until people start showing up. I’ve met a lot of real solid, awesome people there, but also several.... um, questionable individuals as well, but as always it’s the minority that ruins it for the majority. I’ve had it happen on three separate occasions where I call for a cold range, make eye contact with everyone, and then when I’m about 60 yards down range changing my target, someone on the opposite end of the line starts shooting. Conversely I’ve been sending rounds down range and had people just run out to grab their target or change targets without calling for cold range or getting my attention. If anything, even those situations I think are great lessons in how to read a shooting area and when to leave when it becomes unsafe, even though you may be permitted to be in said area, or present teachable moments to educate people in safety.

I believe I talked about the difference between the two (in weight ie how much is added to the system). I still have the handguard I will weigh it when I get home and get back to you🤙🏾

Ive had mine for years, and thousands of rounds later it’s still one of my favorite, most fun shooting platforms even with the 20 mile long barrel I have on it now. Sorry I missed that. The charging handle installs the same way it does in the OEM handguard. There is a channel cut in both sides that interfaces with your CH.

Warning!!! 3/1/24 I purchased a New ?? CZ Carbine from "GRAB A GUN "and when I went to install the same HBI Handguard, I found that my barrel was not the same. For some reason CZ made barrels that have outsde threading measuring one inch in diam at the rear of the barrel! which DOES NOT ALLOW THE TRUNNION ADAPTER BLOCK to be installed. The TRUNNEL BLOCK must fit tightly up to the receiver in order for the new hanguard to be installed correctly. The HOLE IN THE TRUNNEL IS SMALLER IN DIAMETER THAN THE STUPID THREADING! The Barrel in their video shows that the barrel is smooth and tapered up to the receiver with NO Threads that allows you to fit the TRUNNION up to the receiver so that the new HandGuard holes ALIGN up with the TRUNNION. Glad these guys don't make Shuttle part.!!!
Prob the 3plus scorpion has a different barrel and specs than the previous models.. I think the 3plus guns do not currently have an upgraded handguard available at this time

Yeah I definitely agree, but in Hawaii the barrel length needs to be 16” or greater to be legal so… I do this kind of nonsense. My son and I just went up to AZ and he loved shooting a “real” CZ scorpion “not like the one we have at home” (pistol length barrel). Much more fun. The long ass monstrosity we have at home does sit better and recoil less, but of course it’s because it’s a mile long and weighs ten thousand poinds
