Mickey has to be my favorite ghost face in the franchise. He’s always just so entertaining to watch and the fact that he’s very manipulative in his own right is really cool

This is seriously dark some dark web level stuff. I love how you hinted Mickey enjoys playing mind games with his victims which is exactly what he did with Sidney. And I love how in your version he has killed many people, girls specifically (maybe he has a type) and kept an album, that’s just dark, and really makes Sidney remarkable as she could have been one of them victims he killed and kept in that album, but she survived. I think that’s what Mickey the darkest and scariest Ghostface is that most of the Ghostfaces wear the costume for a purpose while for Mickey he can kill anytime any day he just happened to wear a Ghostface costume for his timespan in Scream 2.
You know what else makes Mickey much scarier than the others? SPOILERS Most of the killers in the franchise including in Scream 6 always have a vendetta against someone or something even if revenge isn't their primary motive. Usually the killers have an angry breakdown and show some weakness due to this. -Billy was vengeful against Sidney's mom. -Stu was vengeful against Casey and Steve. -Mrs. Loomis was vengeful against Sidney. -Roman was jealous and vengeful against Sidney. -Jill was jealous and vengeful against Sidney. -Charlie was jealous and vengeful against Kirby. -Richie was vengeful about Stab. -Amber was vengeful about Stab. -The Baileys were vengeful against Sam and Tara. *Ignoring Jason since he was such a minor killer. However, Mickey was the only Ghostface who had absolutely no grudge, jealousy, or vendetta against anyone or anything. There was nothing causing him pain to the point where he released his aggression through murder. He just simply liked to kill and had fun with hurting others until the end. That's why I think he's the scariest.
Jill is scarier, Charlie is more disturbing and Wayne is more upsetting. I have my reasons. Also, i have a theory that Mickey had a thing for Sid, but later came back to his murderous self after she started dating with Derek

She’s probably one of the least scary ghost face’s in the franchise’s history.
Jason was minor but you could say he was vengeful against his teacher giving him what he thought was a subpar grade, to keep with the commonality of your list
The craziest Ghostface killer out of them all. No motive just wanted to kill for the thrill. I hope you get that novelization deal done I’d love to hear more of your backstories of these characters
For real! Unlike all the other killers, he wanted to get caught and be infamous for the ghostface copycat murders. He was already a serial killer before Scream 2 so who knows how many victims he already killed.
I’ve always said that Mickey was one of the best ghostfaces. He messed with Sidney’s mind and convinced her that Derek was the other killer. Not to mention he was strong and fast as heck!
Mickey was going to be such a different character originally when Hallie and Derek were going to be the killers alongside Mrs Loomis. Mickey was deeply in love with Hallie I think, and the two GF double stab him after he essentially sacrifices himself for Sidney

Agreed with everything in this video. Can't wait to read that novelization and see Mickey's background fleshed out. And who knows, maybe Paramount could incorporate that lore someday and make it canon.
Mickey is the most twisted Ghostface killer and he was very manipulative I laugh he got a little turned on when Sidney was beating him lol and how he didn't know Sidney the one that killed Billy you thought he would do thorough research but anyway Mickey the most twisted Ghostface it's hard to determine which Ghostface the most twisted but I think it's Mickey.
If we getting technical gale killed Billy.... Sidney just finished him off with the headshot with the "one last scare" part which are always over the top
I think Mickey, Stu and Beth are the scariest Ghostface in the franchise as they don't really have motives Mickey wants to get caught but other then that he is a serial killer who just like killing people Mickey probably the most underrated Ghostface in the Scream franchise.

Another reason Scream 2 is my personal favourite in the franchise.. just the originality. Its never easy making a good slasher sequel but the storytelling, character development, set pieces, score, score themes for characters.. just so beautifully done
This was so amazing to hear. I always thought Mickey was funny in Scream 2. But there were little moments to me that he had to be one of GhostFace Killers. Hearing this untold dark Mickey story was really interesting. Also good luck on your Novel as well. Cannot wait to hear more for this.

He's either tied or has more than Roman in my book. You need at least 3 to qualify as a serial killer, and he wrangled up 7 in Scream 2 (Phil, Maureen, Cici, two detectives, Hallie, Derek), putting him one above Roman.

Very introductory. I didn't think much of the 'Rina Reynolds aka Maureen Prescott' story until now. I had to listen to this 4 times it was like watching a movie. Went back to the 'Maureen Prescott' scene & it's awesome stuff. I'm sold now. I've WhatsApp'd this to my pals it's soo good. Would love to hear the conversation between Billy & Roman. In the scream 5 novelization Amber & Richie made their twisted plains while doing it in Sam's own bed. Also how Billy got the voice box into the police station to call Sid. Soooo many possible rabbit holes to go down with this.

Well, I don't know if you noticed, but when Mrs. Loomis shot Mickey dead, Gale worriedly tried to run to him, but Mickey was shot by a completely innocent woman who doesn't even know him at all, why should he start to worry after a serial killer? I mean…he didn’t really cause Sidney to go into hiding. She did that because she was likely tired of getting hunted by all the Ghostface killers up until that point.

It is my dream to make a scream tv show/series about the first movie, possibly called “origins of ghostface” which is the story about billy and Stu and how they become phsyicopathic killers, with my ideas for the show and with the help of your mindset I believe we can accomplish something amazing, and give all the scream fans the real thrill they always seeked.
The mention of a "serial killer" website gave very dark web vibes, long before at least I knew that the dark web was even a thing. A situation like this can actually be an in universe reason as to why the dark web needs to exist because the government began taking things seriously and began to monitor the regular internet.
Besides already been a serial Killer Before been recruited by Mrs Loomis to be Ghosface Mickey Was Also The The Most Durable Ghostface He ate a Dozen Bullets and still came Back for One Last Scare
Originally, when I saw Scream 2 I didn't care much for Mickey, since he was pretty obvious and I thought his motive was kinda weak. But... Goddamn! He's going up my Ghostface killer tier!
The ironic think about Mickey. He wanted to be remembered and get immortalize; however, he was only remembered as another copy-cat killer and everyone rarely talks about Mickey. Getting shot by Mrs. Loomis really hurt Mickey and realized he got played. Mrs. Loomis betrayed him and shot him. Deep down, Mickey was hurt by the betrayal and seeing he'll never get his trial and be famous. He was more hurt of the betrayal then getting shot. He wanted to kill Sydney and the others one last time, but only to be killed for good.
He liked Tarantino and Cameron movies so he had good taste in movies. Those who preferred Ridley Scott ended up dead/murdered Look at the successes of Tarantino and Cameron since 1997.
It funny cause I figured he did kill before but steal the identity of Debbie Salt for Mrs. Loomis. Kind like “The Following” where Joe killed his half brother to escape.

I know we still have scream 6 but I think in the 7th film. Mark Kincaid will be the opening kill. Each trilogy in the final movie would have a minor recurring character killed. Just like cotten weary. Cotton was mention/briefly appeared in scream 1 then was in scream 2 and then died in 3. Kincaid was in scream 3, Mentioned in scream 5 and you guessed it will die in scream 7. I just think it would make alot of narrative and symbolic sense

All of the Ghostface's are evil and dark, no question about it. But I think THE DARKEST is Jill, not Mickey. Jill lead the spree which claimed the most lives and on top of that, her motive was purely out of Self Interest. She was prepared to kill many innocent people and try to paint herself as a hero and live a life of fame and luxury at the expense of others. Mickey was an evil bastard but AT LEAST he was prepared to admit to his crimes, he wanted to get caught.

Guys, this is just me spinning a theory here. This is one I've considered since Scream 5 came out, and now since I've seen Scream 6, I'm seriously thinking I might be right. Wayne Bailey (Richie's father) looks a lot like Timothy Olyphant (Mickey Alteri) in my opinion, and I think that Richie's motivation for becoming a Ghostface was much deeper than what was revealed. It's just a thought, but if you guys think I could be onto something, comment please. I'd like to hear if you guys have ideas. Also, who else is hoping Stu Macher comes back for Scream 7?
You see I think Stu had already killed someone or something as kids when he was with billy and that’s how billy knew Stu had a list to kill and would do the majority of the killings

Mickey had so much potential, I honestly believe more could've been done with him.

Mrs Loomis was “perfectly sane”. She was just looking for “good, old fashioned revenge”.

It is my dream to make a scream tv show/series about the first movie, possibly called “origins of ghostface” which is the story about billy and Stu and how they become phsyicopathic killers, with my ideas for the show and with the help of your mindset I believe we can accomplish something amazing, and give all the scream fans the real thrill they always seeked.

The mention of a "serial killer" website gave very dark web vibes, long before at least I knew that the dark web was even a thing. A situation like this can actually be an in universe reason as to why the dark web needs to exist because the government began taking things seriously and began to monitor the regular internet.
Besides already been a serial Killer Before been recruited by Mrs Loomis to be Ghosface Mickey Was Also The The Most Durable Ghostface He ate a Dozen Bullets and still came Back for One Last Scare
The backstory is excellent, it reminds me of Giallo films and even true crime documentaries
Originally, when I saw Scream 2 I didn't care much for Mickey, since he was pretty obvious and I thought his motive was kinda weak. But... Goddamn! He's going up my Ghostface killer tier!
The ironic think about Mickey. He wanted to be remembered and get immortalize; however, he was only remembered as another copy-cat killer and everyone rarely talks about Mickey.
Getting shot by Mrs. Loomis really hurt Mickey and realized he got played. Mrs. Loomis betrayed him and shot him. Deep down, Mickey was hurt by the betrayal and seeing he'll never get his trial and be famous. He was more hurt of the betrayal then getting shot. He wanted to kill Sydney and the others one last time, but only to be killed for good.
I can’t wait to read these novelizations they sound amazing.
He liked Tarantino and Cameron movies so he had good taste in movies. Those who preferred Ridley Scott ended up dead/murdered Look at the successes of Tarantino and Cameron since 1997.

It funny cause I figured he did kill before but steal the identity of Debbie Salt for Mrs. Loomis. Kind like “The Following” where Joe killed his half brother to escape.
Scream 2 has a special place in my heart simply because it takes place in Ohio and I'm from Ohio. Which for me made Scream 2 even more terrifying.

I know we still have scream 6 but I think in the 7th film. Mark Kincaid will be the opening kill. Each trilogy in the final movie would have a minor recurring character killed. Just like cotten weary. Cotton was mention/briefly appeared in scream 1 then was in scream 2 and then died in 3. Kincaid was in scream 3, Mentioned in scream 5 and you guessed it will die in scream 7. I just think it would make alot of narrative and symbolic sense

All of the Ghostface's are evil and dark, no question about it. But I think THE DARKEST is Jill, not Mickey. Jill lead the spree which claimed the most lives and on top of that, her motive was purely out of Self Interest. She was prepared to kill many innocent people and try to paint herself as a hero and live a life of fame and luxury at the expense of others. Mickey was an evil bastard but AT LEAST he was prepared to admit to his crimes, he wanted to get caught.

Guys, this is just me spinning a theory here. This is one I've considered since Scream 5 came out, and now since I've seen Scream 6, I'm seriously thinking I might be right. Wayne Bailey (Richie's father) looks a lot like Timothy Olyphant (Mickey Alteri) in my opinion, and I think that Richie's motivation for becoming a Ghostface was much deeper than what was revealed. It's just a thought, but if you guys think I could be onto something, comment please. I'd like to hear if you guys have ideas. Also, who else is hoping Stu Macher comes back for Scream 7?

Maureen broke the Loomis marriage up and Mrs Loomis moved out and abandoned Billy. If you want to blame someone, why don't you blame Maureen.
