The fact that Mickey went against two armed cops without wearing body armor shows how much of a great ghostface he was! Not to mention to level of PTSD sidney had because of him as well.
He was also the reason that Sidney went to hiding in Scream 3, according to Wes Craven.
It was because Mickey was the only killer who didn't have a personal connection with Sidney right? Because he was basically a hired killer
@@AC-il6bgno he was killer before even scream 1 he just wanted to kill her for no reason that's the think that makes him different no real motive just wanna kill.
Mickey is definitely underrated mentally. Sidney isn't stupid, yet he managed to get into her circle of trust, and could place doubts on the ones she loved, like Derek and Randy. He manipulated her as well as others, even forming a growing relationship with Hallie. He also is capable of killing armored cops, and also escaping detection from his previous murders
I just wonder if Mickey ever survived if he would've been serving a life sentence like how they originally planned with Stu, in Scream 3. There was so much potential from his character that we never got to see, and it's kinda sad.
@@YvngJay-rz3pf I wish he got more screen time and we got to explore his backstory more.
Mickey might be my favorite Ghostface killer. I think his motive is the most unique and Timothy Olyphant did a great serial killer personality performance.
Timothy nailed this role! I wish he got more screen time! They need to bring him back as a hallucination/ghost or even a flashback!
@@JoseReyes-vy4id Bring back the voice changer from scream 3 and bring every ghostface back through phone calls, instead of just Roger L. Jackson we get everyone over the phone- Mickey, Jill, Stu, etc. I think that’d be a cool way to bring them back
He's my 2nd favorite Ghostface after Stu.
I had an idea for a Scream movie, and it was about 4 kids committing murders across their hometown, but two of them get away because the other two had other plans to get famous like Mickey, so the other two kill the ones who wanted to get caught, and escape detection. Then, the two that survive would come back to make another spree since they realized getting famous for their "works of art" isn't such a bad idea after all
They said he’s coming back for scream 7 but i think it’s just a distraction for Stu’s return
Mickey is definitely the most mysterious Ghostface. My head canon says that Mickey is about 5 years older than he led on.
Mickey is by far the best Ghostface killer as far as physicality goes.
And I love me some Timothy Olyphant, those pics of young Timothy are so cute ❤
I agree, he was likely significantly older but portrayed himself as 19/20 like the others. And wasn't he the cutest?! 🥹
That hairline makes him look closer to 30
@@Jeff-jz5sfThat's because Tim Olyphant was almost 30 at the time.
Oh man, another UA-camr named Zack Cherry would LOVE this video. He does horror content but his main focus is Scream. If youve watched any of his Scream videos, you know Mickey is his favorite killer. I would love a collab with you two! Beyond the Mask and Zack Cherry are the top 2 Scream creators on this platform, period!❤
IKR DUDE HE’D BE DOWN 😩
He’s such a bitch baby tho. (Zach)
Mickey in slight slo-mo will haunt my dreams.
😂😂😂
I don’t know, it kinda turned me on
Oh my god someone literally hacked my acc and wrote that, that’s literally insane
It's called the twixtor effect
Wow this has blown me away. It feels like this is a true crime story.
I love scream 2. I love mickey, he is my second favorite ghostface after Roman.
Mickey Altierior motives. His last name gave him away.
One creepy angle to the series I love is how the killers are able to worm their way into the lives of the protagonist with ease. It was nice for Scream 6 to show how two people attempted to do that and failed.
I always thought he was a bit underrated. He’s my second favourite killer, after Jill.
This is the best video you’ve ever done. Hands down
Your so talented at telling these stories. You deserve way more views than you’re getting (just being honest)
True, but this video is only 8 hours ling
@@embrywilliams238only 8 hours
Wow, this was really engaging all the way through. I'd love to see one on Roman Bridger next.
Going in depth with serial killers is one of the reasons I subscribed to this channel. I really hope you continue this type of content going forward, as news videos always seem pretty pointless when there isn’t any news at all to report.
They really need to hire you as a writer for these scream and Halloween movies bc these back stories are so entertaining and detailed .
Mickey alteri was a messed up individual just because he wanted fame and the trail.
Him and Jill would be friends lol
Oregon trail?
@@kingkaiiiusthem and Danny Johnson would be great friends they would kill the others and each of them get the fame they want jill gets to be the final girl who lives to tell the tale and Mickey gets his trial and Danny gets to report on them and put it in his paper with all three winning in the end
The ironic thing about Mickey. He wanted to be remembered and get immortalize; however, he was only remembered as another copy-cat killer and everyone rarely talks about Mickey.
Getting shot by Mrs. Loomis really hurt Mickey and realized he got played. Mrs. Loomis betrayed him and shot him. Deep down, Mickey was hurt by the betrayal and seeing he'll never get his trial and be famous. He was more hurt of the betrayal then getting shot. He wanted to kill Sydney and the others one last time, but only to be killed for good.
At the end, he became another idiot that wasted his life for nothing.
Like most serial killers
@@pleaseshutup7053 he got played as a fool.
Mrs. Loomis ended Randy, one of the most likeable character of the story, she also managed to fool Gale. Seems to me that Gale wasn't easy to trick, since she was a reporter, she should did homework about everyone, we already saw that on Scream 6. Therefore, Mickey was more like a pawn, or lap dog of Mrs. Loomis.
@@LosMSR if Mickey knew she was going to use him and kill him later, he probably would have try to take her out first. His downfall was he trusted her.
Instead of making me realize in cinema '98 it must be Mickey just because he's been away for too long, they could've given him an alibi scene since they were two killers.
It’s crazy to think Sidney killed Sam’s dad AND grandma… LOL
One of the most underrated actors if you think about it he's like our modern Clint Eastwood wt the cowboy era
Well damn. The subject, the slowing down of the scenes and the faint music in the background really made this creepy. You sold it! I always wondered about Mickey. Thanks for doing his “story”.
Billy said it's a lot scarier when there's no motive.
Mickey’s gotta be one of my top three Ghostfaces. A maniac who WANTED to get caught and gain infamy. One who planned on blaming the movies, hiring a good lawyer and getting away with it. Another thing that’s scary about Mickey is that he genuinely enjoys hanging out with these people and has fun with them….but he will murder them without a second thought if he feels like it or if it serves his plan. It doesn’t matter if you’re his friend and he genuinely likes you, he will kill you without any remorse if he wants to.
There’s also the fact that this ain’t nothing new for him. He was a serial killer long before he became Ghostface.
Him and stu are definitely the most psychotic
well, it's like a wise man once said: it's the millennium; motives are incidental (although i'm not sure what the correlation between those two statements is)
“This was just type of boy you’d like to bring home to mom”
If ya had a mom 😂😂😂
Mickey may actually be a creepier Ghostface killer than even Billy and Stu combined.
Idk, they're all pretty messed up in their own ways. The idea that two high schoolers could go through with committing those murders is really disturbing. Especially with the amount of planning and logistics they had to figure out. Teenagers are horrifying
No way. Cheap imitation
Nope
@@timmyboy2495 HE was nothing like billy or stu, cheap imitation is a dumb comment.
Mickey is my fav ghostface
Out of all the killers he is pretty much the biggest star that had a pretty successful career
Mickey is the best killer hands down
Please cover the other serial killers like this. Would love to see one on Jill.
Mickey was so messed up to the point where Sidney had to go into hiding
Exactly! He was already an active serial killer, only wanted fame/notoriety for the copycat murders at Windsor college!
Scream was good back then. Now we have Quinn and Ethan and characters stabbed multiple times with zero effect. It just took me like 20 seconds to remember Ethan's name. That's how shit Scream 6 was. Rush-produced to satisfy people who watcg Scream videos on UA-cam
Right also didn’t like that they brought in Samara weaving she didn’t fit the scream universe at all her charter was so bland and pointless 😂
I just don't like the ties to Billy and Stu in the new cast. These movies are super meta but they come off pretensious with how they act like they know the genre inside and out but still fall for the same tropes. Whenever they do the "this is like a movie" but in every film it gets worse and worse. Even Randy and his stupid most mortem video in Scream 3
Yes finally a back story of my favourite Ghost Face 👏👏👏
MICKEY IS THE BEST!! SCREAM 2 IS THE BEST!!! WE STAB TOGETHER, WE GET SHOT TOGETHER!! GHOST FACE FOR LIFE!!!!
He could have a tragic backstory, just one we don’t know about
He probably had a background of abuse like most other serial killers
The most underrated killer, Mickey deserves better plus how come we didn't get to see his aged mask in the sixth film I wanted to see what his mask looked like. I was hoping the mask would have a significant crack on the forehead to replicate the bump he had from when he crashed the car or have a crack sliced horizontally to symbolize the moment Sidney used Derek's necklace as a weapon
Would love to read the novelizations you was working on very talented and writing your scripts
He managed to end a Vampire Slayer, that was a big moment, lol.
Thank you for this video!! I personally love Mickey as Ghostface. Timothy Olyphant was awesome in this role. :)
Thank you for this. Mickey is my favourite ghostface in the franchise. Great video.
Omg you make these videos feel like the scream movies actually happened in real life its crazy 😂😂😂
His manipulation is underrated, he manipulated Sid, when tried to comfort her and his reveal was so surprising Sid went into hiding and he is the only ghostface to do that. And his planning is too, he said with friend group, he planned that. Also wasn't suspected, and toyed with everyone which is a good manipulation feat.
Can you make a video on the background of how the ghost face costume Robes have changed from time to time and why
Fantastic work as always mate, with halloween right around the corner I think a scream marathon is due soon. Mickey is such a underrated ghostface. Jill to me is the sickest though......
Emma Roberts surprised everyone with this rol, she was so badazz, I never saw her as an action actress, but this movie said otherwise.
She played such a good part, I remember when the ending came in that one I WAS LEGIT SHOCKED. Honestly the last scream movie that really left me in awe was 4@@LosMSR
It would completely ruin the franchise with not saving it again but it would be fun to see a paranormal movie where someone summons the spirits of all the dead ghostface killers and let them loose on woodsboro in true 80s slasher fashion.
That's a great idea, they could make a non-canon series about that
I think Mickey was the most deranged Ghostface killers out of all the other Ghostfaces, next to Billy.
Plus he was the only killer that didn't have personal motive or anything against Sidney or her mother which I do believe is the reason why Sidney went off the grid in the 3rd film
For me Micky is the only Ghostface sequel killer that makes even the slightest sense..... no connection to the original events no real motive other than being introduced by Billys mother and a history of killing.... the idea that if you are either related to Sidney or one of the past killers thus motivated to pick up a knife and hunt people is quite frankly just as ridiculous as a guy in a hockey mask that can't be killed..... Mickey was terrifying
Roman was more intense, he managed to end Cotton, a guy who was in prison, also Liev Schrier is 6′ 3, when I saw that scene on S3, i knew the killer was a man, but also could be a big menace, maybe someone from prison.
My 3rd fav ghostface for sure 🥉 and third place doesn’t always mean that it’s bad. He’s actually the scariest ghostface imo
Keep up the Amazing Content!! Do more one on Roman Bridger would be great and Maybe Angelina Tyler
YOUR ABSOLUTELY AMAZING U GOT A BIG FOLLOWING WHY R U NOT INTERVIEWING BIG NAMES LIKE CRAVEN SOMETHING SCARY JUST INTERVIEWD CHRISTOPHER LANDON BUT YOU SHOULD B GETTING THESE INTERVIEWS TOO UR WAAAY UP THERE IN FOLLOWING AND YUR CONTENT IS AMAZING!! 🤞🤞💯💯
Please do a video about Charlie Walker
Love this vid, seems like the vid just gave Mickey a popularity buff.
Can you do a similar video for Roman Bridger?
Keep the Scream content coming!!! 🔪🔪🔪
Mickey’s my favorite GhostFace
Nice video
The first time I saw scream 2 I immediately knew it was Mickey because bro was just creepy the entire movie imo. Timothy Olyphant did such an amazing job
Just my theory, but Mickie was a film student! He maybe was old friends with roman ( like Billy & Stu) & he had knew of Romans plans since he started making them, once it failed some how mrs loomis & mickey got online (set up by roman) she pays his tuition so he can become a movie director or whatever he was planning on?? Then that failed that's when roman had to do it himself with Angelina but betrayed her
My favorite killer in the movies.
Are these facts canon? Or are you speculating from a fan's perspective? Either way, great deep dive.
My favourite Ghostface.
Timothy Olyphant is talented, I only wish we could have transformed into Raylan Givens as Mickey. He would be the greatest and most lethal Ghostface ever! 🤔😁
One of my favorite Ghostface killers. Top 3
Mickey's definitely my favourite ghostface like how could he not be
He would be my favorite if he was in the movie more
I'd love a in depth video all about Cici next 🩷
I think Mickey was justified tbh
How?
I see what you did there cause he later would go on to star in Justified
I see what you did there...
Your name is symbolic af never realized before
Mickey the freaky tarantino film student !
Mickey is my favorite ghostface
That very sad
His character needs to be talking about more
Can you make this video for Kirsch family ?
2:14 where did u get this info?
He likes it and tis gave him an excuse to do it.
Potentially an unpopular opinion but I feel he was probably a sex killer like most other male serial killers.
Considering he was a fan of guys like Dahmer and Bundy I'd say so
I’m not doubting your video but where is the source of all of this information I wanna know more about Mickey
The events of SCREAM 2 took place in 1997, not 1998.
Mickey Altieri is clearly a nod to Danny Rolling.
Roman still top dawg 🔥 but Mickey right next to him for sure
Are you still working on the novelization?
It was really obvious that it was him as the killer
It was not 1998 , it was 1997
Filmed in ‘97, set in ‘98. Radio Silence messed up the timeline
😊🙏💯
Did billy let u talk to him this way? SO VULGARRR
😮
1997. Not 1998.
It was 2 years after Billy & Stu's spree so 1998 is correct
you can't blame real life violence on entertainment
i thinking He wanted to proof that this statement is incorrect
First!!
It's raylan givens
what about roman history
MICKEY ALTIERI BEST GHOSTFACE👻🔪🖤
Mickey a real serial killer
Second !
it happened in 1997 but okay
#mickeyisalive
He is definitely dead
Ooooh what if they did a prequel to Mickey as ghost face? I could see Cameron Monaghan playing a younger Mickey
But what is this ? Channel was supposed to give us fresh news about Scream movies not some imagine fake stories ?!? I mean 🤷🏻
It's real if you investigate
When a movie is dumb as Scream 2 is we shouldnt be discuss anything about the movie apart how to erase it from our Memories..
Nah, that honour goes to 💩 scream 4 and predictable Jill.
@@jamespope7669 I stopped at the 3rd but for what I know of the 4th, it's the dumbest of the whole series, they continued on and on with this Crazy idea that, you could kill dozens of people for absolutely no reason.. or for dumb reasons like your mother being a wh0re or your cousin being famous.. yes the 4th is definitevely the dumbest from this standpoint..
