Thanks for this very this helpful instruction Jana. I was looking for video exactly this. Oh, and thanks for all your help with my hearing aids, life is much better..
This is very helpful but is several years old. I just got my first pair of Resound aids and I like them a lot. I'm wondering if some of the settings you've covered here do not apply to all models. I think mine are pretty baseline, and I don't see the Speech Focus and Wind noise reduction settings under Sound Enhancer. Speech focus would be so good to have in a noisy environment, like restaurant. Thanks a lot.
Good afternoon! There are different features available in different technology levels, with Speech Focus being one of them. I would consult with your hearing care provider to see if it's available in your technology and simply needs to be enabled, or if you'd like to consider a different level in order to have it. Once it's there and enabled, you will see it in your app.
Lookn to play music that’s on my phone on Bluetooth speaker. I’ve connected to my speaker but it’s not working right. My speaker doesn’t go full volume like it did before I added and connected my new hearing aids.
From what we can see, the BeMore app is for GN hearing aids outside of the US. The Smart 3D app is what you'll want for the latest Resound products, such as Nexia, Omnia, etc.
I got a replacement hearing aid, but the hearing aids themselves are not paired together. this makes it so you can only pair one hearing aid. Can i do this at home (pair them)? My hearing aid people cant see me for a month
At this time, the aids do need to be programmed together so that each recognizes the other as a pair. Hopefully your hearing professional can get you in sooner!
@@peterhoffman8703 Yes, you can see your battery level on the app. Please keep in mind it is simply an approximation and not an exact percentage of remaining battery power.
Thank you so much for your question. In our office, have found connectivity and use of the apps to be best with iPhones when it comes to Resound hearing aids. The integration with Apple products and Resound technology is easiest for the user when it comes to pairing, streaming, and accessing features in the app. It also allows for Live Assist, which gives you built-in real-time video access with your audiologist if you need adjustments made to your hearing aids. We’d love to know other questions you have regarding hearing healthcare. We’re here to be your resource! Take care! Dr. Austin
Question... If you adjust the settings, do they stay at that exact setting - when you turn off your mobile or you forget to take your mobile out with you? Thank you
Hi Carl, as you have probably experienced, when you turn your hearing aids off/on each day, the settings reset to where your hearing provider has them. If you prefer certain settings, you can let them know so they can be made permanent. Or if you have a variety of settings you prefer in certain situations, you can make them a 'favorite' in your app. We hope this helps!
Good evening! We realized in receiving your comment we did not have a video dedicated to demo mode, so we created one just for this. Thank you again! The video for demo mode is here: ua-cam.com/video/QT1Xzltba3o/v-deo.html
Hi! Yes - It is available on Android. Keep in mind, the controls like volume or programming adjustments are available. For our demonstration, we only had an iPhone available, so we didn't get to film an Android demo. That is something on our list for the future though!
@@TiggyTabbycat Oh we hope you will be able to hear so much better! Keep in mind, starting with the hearing aids and adding in the Apple products later is a route we often take at our office. Starting sooner with amplification will allow you to ease into it. And most devices have a volume control on the unit itself, so it you would still be able to tweak volume in a pinch if needed.
Most hearing aids struggle with connecting to Android. If you're looking for technology compatible with your Android, Phonak tends to be the most compatible as it uses a traditional Bluetooth connection. Hopefully this helps!
Thank you for this!! Please do an update on this app!

You may need to increase the volume on your phone or in the music window itself. The hearing aid connection shouldn't impact your Bluetooth speaker.

An *excellent* demo of the app. Thanks very much.

Is it possible to check the battery level through the app?

Apple is far superior apparently.

Well it will be a few months before I can upgrade to apple again .. I won't know what to do with myself if I actually can hear anything.
