HOW TO VIEW CAPITAL ONE LOUNGE PASS IN APP
1. Log into your Capital One app
2. Select your eligible credit card (Venture X, Venture, Spark Miles)
3. Tap on your Rewards Miles balance
4. Select the ‘Adventure awaits’ tile
5. Choose the ‘Lounges’ tab on the top of the next screen
6. Then tap on the ‘View Pass’ button at the top
7. You’ll see your Lounge Pass, the access privileges (unlimited with up to 2 guests with the Venture X, or up to 2 free visits per year with the Venture Rewards or Spark Miles cards), and the ability to add it to Apple Wallet.
NOTE: You must show your digital lounge pass or your Capital One credit card, PLUS your boarding pass for a departing or connecting flight in order to enter the Capital One Lounge.

Super helpful! Was trying to search which new updated lounges cap one venture x now has and this popped up. I think the title you used for this video def made my search easier and straight to the point. A lot of times I think people get travel cards because of the travel benifits and of course the LOUNGES provided with their CC. Def a lot of good and useful personal info about different lounge partners cap one venture x is now partnered with.

I bet you're right; glad it helped you! 💯 FYI: Capital One recently made a slight change, adding 1 step (#6). Here's now it works now...
1. Open Capital One app
2. Tap on your Venture X card
3. Tap on your Rewards Miles balance
4. Choose 'Adventure Awaits'
5. Select 'Lounges' tab
6. Select an available lounge (e.g. DFW)
7. View Pass

Great video always appreciate this and all the hard work you put in to make all the videos as simple and easy to follow along buddy. Cap one as much as they are on my crap list. I do appreciate the competition they are putting on the market. They are definitely trying to become the premium travel card by far. The lounges in the premium collection look very nice and it’s great to see that the benefits you get from traveling with a credit card. Debit cards definitely don’t offer these perks. I don’t do much traveling so the venture cards aren’t worth it to me right now. Appreciate the video man. Did you see that the Amex centurion lounge is finally reopened in LAX. So that is good I guess. Thanks for the awesome video from one of my favorite UA-cam channels.

1. Yes, you can freeze either Experian or TransUnion. It should still work.
2. No, auto loans to not count as a new credit card account. Those are installment loans.

Great that you were able to add the pass to Apple Wallet 💯 Not sure if your wife can do the same. In order to try it, she'll definitely need to make a Capital One login for her authorized user card first.

I don't tell people to get cards or not 'just because.' Start with a problem you have or goal you're trying to achieve, then find the card(s) that give you what you want.

Food + standard drinks are included 🥂 However, some premium drinks may be available for a charge.

Sure, but both cards will need to be swiped separately to use the passes.
Hi. For the plaza premium lounges do i have to register lounge card like priority pass or just show them my venture x card and i can go in? Also is it free with venture x card?
There's no registration required. Simply show your Venture X card + boarding pass at the front desk to get it 👍 Yes, entry is free with the Venture X.

How crowded is the Capital One Lounge in DFW? I know Centurion Lounge in DFW is packed. However, service is good.
It varies. I've been 3 times now over several months. The first 2 visits were probably 15% capacity as the visits were shortly after the lounge opened. The 3rd visit was probably 85% capacity. Seems like the word is getting out, plus it's also summer travel season.
Went to the Capital One Lounge twice in April on layovers and it was about 50% full around lunchtime.

Authorized users can also bring guests, but not with your card. They need to have their own.

@@xxxamuchixx - Yep! When you add an authorized user to the Venture X card, that user will be sent their own card.
Mark, I have the C1 Venture X and I have one Authorized User,…..is it possible to get a Digital Lounge Pass for my Authorize User? I been trying but no success in getting it for my authorize user.
Not that I'm aware of. They could try creating their own Capital One login to see if they can access it that way, but I don't think it's something you can initiate from your login.

If they're traveling without you, you'll need to add them as an authorized user to your account. It's my understanding that they can enroll their card through the same link.

When you say 2 passes for the Venture, does this mean one person (on 2 occasions per year), or one party (on 2 occasions per year)?

Hi Earl - it means up to 2 people visiting per year. You can use both passes yourself, or use 1 while bringing a guest with you. After that, you can buy day passes as a discounted rate.
How are we gonna register our Venture X card for the Plaza Premium lounges? Are they just gonna mail the card or we need to register like what we do on Priority Pass?
Hi Jay - there's no need to register and no separate Plaza Premium access card. Simply show your Venture X + boarding pass at the front desk and you're good to go 😃👍

Hey Mark, currently sitting around 770 on all credit scores, with only 1 new cars opened within the last 12 months. I have 5 total cards my two capital one cards are both 8+ years old. I’ve heard tales of capital one not wanting to give out more personal cards but I really want the venture x. Currently just an average guy making around 55k yearly. In your personal opinion do you think I could still have a good chance for being approved for the Venture X? Thanks I’m advance.
Hey Chris - While I cannot guarantee any result, your credit score & history looks great, and I'd personally feel good about going for the Venture X. However, Capital One usually allows a maximum of 2 personal, non-cobranded cards. There may be exceptions. For that reason, I'd call Capital One first to confirm if having those 2 cards would make you ineligible for another.
How exactly do you get free access to the Plaza Premium Lounges ? There’s roughly a $70 day pass. Do you pay for it through your card then get reimbursement?
Simply show your Venture X card to the front desk when checking into the lounge. No purchase required.

How many times can I assist with Venture?
The Venture Rewards Card ($95 annual fee) allows you 2 total visits per calendar year. You can use them at the Capital One Lounge network or the Plaza Premium Lounge network (or 1 visit to each).
Plaza premium lounge also allowing 2 guests as well ?

For most lounges, no.

That's still more than Chase has right now! Lounge networks take time to build out.
Unfortunately cap1 is not a fan of me lol no luck with this card from them
