You don’t need to be techie to use these smart plugs. Regardless of the brand , the procedure is almost the same. The only difference is the app that you will use but you can add these to your network in less than 5 minutes

Both ewelink and smart life connect to google home or alexa. I use google home widget on my phone to control all my lights. On tv I use smart home dashboard of my fire stick. And voice controled by saying both "hey google" or "alexa"

Hello, I need some advice. I have Smart app, with couple devices hooked up. It was running fine. I recently got new internet service, so network and password change. Do I have to start over and add all my devices.
If you can change the ssid and password of your new connection similar to your old one that would be easier but if you can’t you need to add each of those devices to your smart app

I don’t like the EWeLink also but unfortunately, I can’t connect those devices to smart life . I hope there’s a way to do it

Nope, it only works on EWeLink app

I have passive infrared sensors in the house , smart life could be faster but drains the battery faster than SONOFF / EWeLink devices

Sorry you can’t . I am using IFTTT to connect my EWeLink plug to my smart life connected alarm / siren since the 2 are not yet compatible
