Just a tip have always a small power bank if you have, no need something expensive from outside at the bottom has a mini usb in case you are out alone and the batteries run out. I haven't test it with a device if has firmware updates etc. Just give a try. :)
Q. How if the door is wide open? Or didn't close exactly. Is the automatically door lock will operate? Leaving the door open in lock mode? Is it waterproof?

I would highly recommend this lock but you need to buy this from your local supplier or from an online store operating in your country for warranty claims just in case you need one. I’ve been using Tuya Smart Door Lock for more than a year with no issues at all

Hi, I have a similar door lock but different model. I set up the admin psswor and fingerprint but everytime I lock the door fr inside it just makes a noise and says door unlocked but the lock doesn't open. Any idea what couldbe wrong?
Also make sure that the little arrow on the back of the front half of the lock is pointing up during the install. Otherwise, you'll end up with a door that won't open or won't lock (even though it seems like everything is connected and working properly)
Use that passcode to unlock the door then listen to the serial or code assigned by the lock then press *#admin, press 2 for user , choose the delete user then input the code you want to delete

When you remove the door lock there’s a big screw that holds the handle. Loosen it then turn the handle to the opposite direction . Do this on the front and back door panels
From free passage mode automatic na ca cancel when you touch the finger print panel or use the ic card /passcode . You need to disable the free passage mode in the menu settings

Hi Jerrold. I managed now to set my code, finger print and card. However the door does not lock, it can always be opened from inside and outside, even if the deadbolt is ON. I disabled and enabled normal open mode by selecting 3 (passage mode) several times but still it does not lock either way. I will appreciate your help.......

I have an issue after hard reset setting and then I'll try to connect my smartphone but there is no choice for system setting for network, only add user, delete user,passage mode and silent mode 😢
After pressing the hard reset button for 6-10 seconds , the lock should be restored to default factory settings . After entering the admin info ir should lead you to the main menu where 1 is for admin , 2 for user settings . 4 for network .
Yes I have tried this multiple time. I hear the message that the reset is successful and after entering the admin code, I don't get the settings options. I used to when I first installed it. Also, my user can still use their finger to open the door so it is not resetting properly
H there, I just install one of this lock, and I could access the menu because it not accept the factory admin password 123456#. When I reset it, it ask for initialization pass code…
After hard reset, It just asks me to reguster administartor and then infinitly asks to register user. I can't event get into the same settings with only 4 keys lighting.
If you add a new administrator it will automatically remove the default admin. If it asks for a new user just press the go back button repeatedly to exit.
this is a wifi version . Just tell your family member to create an account in Smart Life app in android or iOs then make them an administrator if you want them to control the lock

Yes you can still access the app as long as meron ka internet sa phone . If naka autolock Lang pwede mo ma unlock if someone presses 9# then click mo ang yes or confirm . If naka free passage mode d mo pwede ma lock remotely

@@mariemendoza2467 unfortunately hindi kasi when somebody presses 9#, it will send an unlock request to your phone. You can create a temp pin on your app but it will not be recognized by the door if it's disconnected from your home wifi network.

If you touch the fingerprint panel , it will activate the autolock , pwede din disable mo sa menu or cancel the three passage mode there . Newly installed ba to? Or it just stopped working ?

That’s a lil bit strange. The mechanical key should work all the time. Try to remove both handles and reinstall

You probably set it to free access mode . If you touch the panel or use a valid passcode it will go back to auto lock mode

It will still lock automatically without lifting the handle . The deadbolt is optional which you might find useful especially at night

Are you using the sonoff home alarm system? Probably it’s in the routine that automatically disarm your alarm when you’re home .

The lock works with a 2.4ghz band only

How long does the battery last?
If you enable the passage mode for sure it will last more than a year . In my case kahit naka autolock it lasted for a year using 4 energizer battery

After pressing the hard reset button for 6-10 seconds , the lock should be restored to default factory settings . After entering the admin info ir should lead you to the main menu where 1 is for admin , 2 for user settings . 4 for network .
Yes I have tried this multiple time. I hear the message that the reset is successful and after entering the admin code, I don't get the settings options. I used to when I first installed it.
Also, my user can still use their finger to open the door so it is not resetting properly

You need to press the *#admin , press 1 for admin settings , press 3 for network , press 2 to connect to your wifi network

H there, I just install one of this lock, and I could access the menu because it not accept the factory admin password 123456#. When I reset it, it ask for initialization pass code…
Probably it’s a different version than the one I’m using. Did u try using 000000?
@@JerroldEllo 000000 worked… then I was stuck to enter setting menu trough keyboard… but ended I solved using TTLock app and then worked fine… thanks.

After hard reset, It just asks me to reguster administartor and then infinitly asks to register user. I can't event get into the same settings with only 4 keys lighting.
If you add a new administrator it will automatically remove the default admin. If it asks for a new user just press the go back button repeatedly to exit.

this is a wifi version . Just tell your family member to create an account in Smart Life app in android or iOs then make them an administrator if you want them to control the lock
Can I make account on tuya app and delete all the users and admin?
@chachamiclat6135 the Tuya app only keeps the record of the unlocking events , you need to delete it in the door

Yes you can still access the app as long as meron ka internet sa phone . If naka autolock Lang pwede mo ma unlock if someone presses 9# then click mo ang yes or confirm . If naka free passage mode d mo pwede ma lock remotely

@@mariemendoza2467 unfortunately hindi kasi when somebody presses 9#, it will send an unlock request to your phone. You can create a temp pin on your app but it will not be recognized by the door if it's disconnected from your home wifi network.

hi, after entering default PIN 123456, plsregister user agad lalabas wala ung 1,2.3.4 na setting para ma delete sana ung default admin

thats it no network settings
After your admin info , number 1 is the admin , 2 user, and 3 should be network . Your lock might be of different brand

What do you mean ? Autolock by default but you can enable the free passage mode also

If you touch the fingerprint panel , it will activate the autolock , pwede din disable mo sa menu or cancel the three passage mode there . Newly installed ba to? Or it just stopped working ?

If enabled ang autolock, nag lolock pag tinaas ang handle . If you press 5# after opening the autolock will be disabled

If you’re concerned with unauthorized entry better enable the autolock . Otherwise , disable mo nalang to save on battery

Open the Tuya or Smartlife app then open the door . The code will be logged/shown there
