Close but there are some nice differences that we feel give trim-tex the edge over the competition. They have their patented mudlock technology on the back of the bead which provides extra strength and the bead itself is a little thinner than No-Coat so it sits flatter resulting in less mud.
The 4.5" Fast Edge Rolls are very similar in price to No-Coat 450. Really depends on your local distributors and how much they mark up. However, Trim-Tex also offers 3 other sizes like I mentioned in the video so there's different option available to you depending on the application. No-Coat only has 325 (3.25") and 450 (4.5") whereas trim-tex offers 2.75", 3.25", 3.75" and 4.5"
