I love that you and Sam still properly recreate makeup looks. Even though I love seeing the 'insta makeup' like James Charles, NikkieTutorials etc. I often find when they recreate looks they still do their skin 'their way' if that makes sense. I know you guys change it up a bit as well because you might have a different skin type than the celeb but you do it in a way so the finish look LOOKS like what the celebrity had. instead of just a vague copy of the eyes and then the thick contour etc etc. Nothing wrong with the creative makeup others do, but if you're going to recreate a look, you should RECREATE it. You guys always nail it. Been watching Pixiwoo since I was... 14? 15? and I am 24 now and still love your tutorials best. No flashy music and intros, just what I watch with a cuppa tea at 11pm and then having to resist the urge to also do my makeup haha! XX
Same here been watching since 2008! And I LOVE their makeup always have Ive learned my best tips from these ladies and you can actually recreate alot of them as for like Nikki NOT so easy...
@@TessTweet Hey! Yes I agree. I know to get good at makeup simply takes a lot of practice, however, I do think it's easier to learn from Pixiwoo as they actually discuss the techniques especially in their earlier videos. Nikkie is very creative and has been on the platform for a very long time and established her own style but apart from saying 'small circular blending motions' there isn't an in depth technical explanation. I like both Pixiwoo and the 'insta gurus' for their creativity but when it comes to recreating looks or the educational part Pixiwoo wins.
Jesus. You nailed it. You looked exactly like her. I thought that was just how her face looked with makeup on, not necessarily the style of makeup she has done on her face. Great video Nic💕💕💕
pixiwoo hey just wondered why you don’t take the bottom lash liner all the way across ?? It looks gorgeous !! I’ve just noticed it in a few of your videos now, is that what your suppose to do? Xx
@@heatherjones9411, to avoid making your eyes look smaller, it's better to not put liner all the way across underneath the eyes. It also prevents the liner from smudging or transferring. Hope it helps 😊
So nice to see someone without a smoothing blurring filter on. Really appreciate it. Fed up of seeing the likes of Tati pretending they have flawless skin! Happy New Year!
@@catarina624 I am sorry but she absolutely does use a smoothing/blurring filter, it seems crazy to me that you don't know that. I am not in the slightest bit jealous, what is to be jealous of?I love seeing beautiful women

Very beautiful! I am always in awe of Lady Gaga's makeup looks and you did an amazing job replicating it of course- she looked beautiful at the Golden Globes - thank you!
I had perioral dermatitis a few years ago and the products from my dermatologist didn't really work. What made it go away completely was avoiding products with alcohol denat. and fragrance or essential oils (limonene, linalool, geraniol, cinnamal...). Natural skincare products, which I I was using at that time, often contain these things and make it worse. I started using Paula's Choice serums and creams and La Roche Posay Effaclar H and my skin has been really good ever since. Nic seems to know what works for her, but maybe this helps someone out there who's struggling to find suitable products for sensitive skin :)
Ever since I was a teenager I though it would be awesome to be ambidextrous. But until I started watching your videos, I never realized what it could mean for makeup application. I’m fascinated watching you switch hands depending on which side of your face you’re working on. I’m so easily entertained, LOL! Seriously though, you nailed this look, Nic. Stunning!
Her makeup artists uses nearly all marc jacobs makeup on her - she is on instagram and often says what makeup she uses on gaga! her IG is @sarahtannomakeup
I LOVE this look purple eyeshadow is so underrated x Ive always loved the dark purple smokey look Kate Hudson wears on her wedding in Bridalwars its BOMB!! would Love a tut on that from you guys! Love from sweden xx
Those Fenty Beauty colours are absolutely gorgeous on you, I think you really nailed the vibe of Gaga, and I could see how I could adapt it to my own colouring! 😊 I also have dermatitis during winter (on my thighs and forearms mostly... Lovely sight), and only leaving my skin alone and lots of VitD makes it go away. And shea butter 😊
Hi! Love seeing your lives on insta... same as Sam... could you both do a new updated soap brows tutorial using the Mac shape and shade (showing that you use the two different colours that you mentioned that you have (or was it three?).... do you just use one or do you use different colours throughout your Brow? Love to see you dude by side doing your brows and your versions of an easy eye look. That is the only problem with insta is that you can't go back and watch it again. Love your channel. Xxx
Such a shockingly beautiful look! I hope your skin heals quickly. All the best to you both and your families in 2019. This really suits you, very sultry and sexy. Such fun!
Please make a video the different of the finising powder from the setting powder and how we now what powder is for what!! It’s not written on the package always!
It looked much more beautiful before the false lashes imho Though I'm aware you're just recreating Gaga's look and she had some. Other than a wonderful look, I love watching actual artists work! xx
I have psoriasis, have had dermatitis, and other skin issues (a lot of it triggered by chronic illness). The one thing that is incredibly soothing no matter the issue, is Caudalie's Grape Water. It comes in a spray can and is super easy to use. It's not medicine that will eliminate the issue by any means, but it feels so freaking good on irritated skin! The consistency is just like water, leaves no residue or sticky feeling, yet it doesn't dry out the skin while it's drying either. It seems to nourish my skin on a very basic level. Last year my grandmother had shingles, which caused a patch of her back to basically look like hamburger meat, which was very painful and itchy. I had a bottle mailed to her, and it provided her great relief as well. I honestly think it would be soothing on any type of skin irritation. *I'm not trying to tell you, or anyone, how to treat any skin issue. This if for doctors to do, and can be unique to an individual. All I'm trying to suggest, is a way to get some relief if the skin condition causes irritation.
I love the tutorials where you use loads of products! Even though it’s a lot it doesn’t look like too much. Always have a good balance! :) looking forward to more x
When I had perioral dermatitis I researched and I was told by the dermatologist that steroid creams can actually make it worse. I had to take an antibiotic in conjunction with using an antibiotic cream, and then I had to continue the cream after the antibiotic pills were done for a week or 2 after. By weening yourself off of the medication apparently it's less likely the inflammation will come right back like it is known to do. I believe what caused mine was leaving a charcoal peel off mask on for too long. Although I had used that mask several times before, that was the only thing I had done differently. I only kept it on for an extended period of time because I got busy doing something around the house. The next day I had a dry bumpy flaky patch around my nose that spread to around my mouth. That dermatitis is such a pain. I also got it on my wrist before from my leather watch band getting wet and sitting on my skin. It's stubborn, but I hope yours goes away soon and stays gone.
Could you pleaaaase do a video showing your professional makeup artist kit? Or even just narrowing down what products a makeup artist should have in their kit. I don’t want to spend on unnecessary products and there aren’t many videos on this platform about it x
Sorry you're having skin issues! I'm battling a bit of dermatitis/eczema myself at the moment, and also using Tacrolimus (Protopic generic). But I just want to clarify - it is NOT a steroid, as you mentioned.
Apparently the colour was periwinkle or light blue (according to her makeup artists insta so I’ve heard anyway 🤷🏼♀️ ) but you’ve shown us that you dont need expensive or even the exact makeup to reach the same outcome your eyes look stunning and spot on too - love the way you you work and explain your tutorials - proper guides !
Best thing for my eczema and dermatitis has been the ordinary hyaluronic acid. I had severe perioral dermatitis to the point where I couldn't open my mouth. Protopic helped recover and I've maintained it with the ordinary, only putting Protopic on it once a week or so.
Love your videos! Have you tried the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream?! I get horrid eczema from dairy and the only thing that saves me (takes care of the itch, moisturizes, and heals) is this cream. It is so SO amazing and I found works so much better than steroid creams. Bonus - mostly natural I believe. Hope you heal up quick!
