My party’s +5 charisma character plays her character like Eldrad - shows that the skill of the swordswoman is more important than the size of the sword
Guilliman cursed, glaring heatedly at the Eldar stood before him. “Damn you Eldrad, will you ever forsake these vexing mind games and your fixation on vague portents of doom?! “LOL.” Replied Eldrad. “LMAO.”
As a Deathwatch fan (More because I’m a fan of XCOM), I would like to apologize to the spess elfs for flubbing of the creation of the David Bowie Elf God. Especially to that poor Harlequin that was genuinely begging that Watch Captain to think ahead for an microsecond.
Fun fact, the Eldrad vs Abaddon fight came from an old White Dwarf battle report. One of the times when GW let something that happened in a batrep become actual lore.
@@anaussie213 A Blood Angels Captain Tycho was killed by a Ork Weirdboy and the retcon was "he survived, but had a stupid smile on his face he hid behind a mask". Later became a special character of the same name, Eramus Tycho. Got an official model too. Though the original poster's point absolutely still stands, because OF COURSE the one example that came to mind of "hey, who's getting more lore? or another character, or a dedicated model?" because of a WD battle report is a Space Marine.
An eldrad fun fact that was revealed in the ynnari books(GW please finish them), Yvraine discovers that slanesh was a messy eater and khaine isnt the only god who has fragments floating around. Ynnead is actually a convalescence of multiple gods animated by the misery caused by and hatred of slanesh. But similar to fragments of the emperor making special mon'keigh, we also get that now, with god fragments becoming embedded in the souls of eldar to make champions that embody their virtues. And Eldrad has a pretty chunky piece of morai heg in his soul, making him one of the best farseers and a peerless psyker, not to mention resistance to the crystallization.
I want a story of an eldar farseer, but he is actually near sighted. So he's constantly seeing into the future and accurately predicting future events, but then bumps into things every 20 feet.
Eldrad is a funny character to me. He always seems to get most future events correct, but always can't prevent it from happening due to fucking up. Either his fault or not. Reminds me of the story of the Princess of Troy Cassandra who kept telling people about what's gonna happen but got ignored with the city getting destroyed and her enslaved and later killed by a jealous wife. While not having the same fate it's still tragic that he can't prevent the events from happening or ends up causing said event.
That's pretty much the Eldar's lot, isn't it? Find out some bad shit is about to happen, try and warn people or do something against it, only for the thing to happen anyway, because something something fate.
He is the space elf version of Bardock, father of Goku. Also he isn't dead yet, there's still time for him to be killed by the jealous lover of a slaver.
@@Sammy9262actually it's less something something fate and more the death watch would doom the entire galaxy to Chaos or tyranid vore if it meant spiting one Eldar. They're determined to see the galaxy burn forever no matter what.
As a custodes fan I can say that you're right. Eldar should get their time to shine. And if anyone is gonna clown on them it should be the followers of the clown god.
One of the finest Eldrad moments is his interaction with N'kari during the second Ynnari novel. In it, Eldrad is travelling into the Webway to drink some magic water and when he's about to, N'kari shows up as a four-armed Eldar blondie to taunt the Farseer, who starts the conversation by asking N'kari if he's here for another banishment (not the exact quote, but pretty much). Then two of them have three pages of counter-reasoning regarding whether or not N'kari wants Eldrad to drink the water, because it may be poisoned. Eldrad reasons the water is safe because if it wasn't, N'kari would not have intervened and let him poison himself. He's wrong and gets poisoned. Until he isn't and just...I don't know, magically throw up the poison to get the benefit from the magic water instead. Then he banishes N'kari...or escapes, I don't remember which it is. I'm not the biggest fan of the guy, but sometimes, Gav Thorpe just writes the most entertaining bullshit you can find in Warhammer.
As someone who plays Night Lords and hates Abbadon, Eldrad dunking on The Warmaster is by far my favorite accomplishment of The Eldar. Spoilers: That being said I'm still bitter that Eldar Sakura Haruno took the lives of First Claw. I have her melted to the hull of a Rhino because of this.
While i can't remember how it was written when they fought the custodes I just imagined it as the 7 harlequins managed to take smaller groups of custodes until they could consolidate, and it makes sense that one on one it should be up in the air since a smaller faster opponent with armour piercing is the kind of enemy they would logically struggle against
@@yeetman1344 basically haha. Their main weapon the Harlequins Kiss is the one I was talking about, but they have a few other weapons similar that just allow them to punch through ceramite etc.
@@yeetman1344 yeah 😂 it's pretty insane how it works tbh, the Eldar for being a "superior" race really have some messed up weapons haha. Even the shuriken catapult is a microfilament ninja star that shoots out at insane fire rates and literally shreds the target apart. They also have this weapon that shoots a webbed net and essentially does what that laser grid in the first resident evil movie does 😂
My favorite thing about Eldrad is his desperate need to cling on to hope for his race. Everything he did he wanted to reach out and save his kind from Slaanesh. Because he dares to have hope for a better future in the one of grimdark war. Even if it meant screwing over everyone else.
Eldrad is the sorta guy who history tends to remember fondly, because he refuses to let other people fuck up what he worked on and he will die before it sinks. A bit of a shame that the whole point of the craftworlders is their slow decay and how they can't remake what they are losing to entropy.
The Harlequins beating a bunch of Custodes sounds pretty believable to me. It sounds better than some other fights in the setting. Like that time Grimnar and his Wolf Guard killed a Grey Knight Grandmaster and his paladin bodyguards while walking away with hardly a scratch on them. Then of course there's all the times the Avatar of Khaine gets owned.
I hate the Space Wolves, or rather most Astartes, with a passion but for some reason I couldn't keep a straight face when I read that segment of Grey Knights getting stomped by the Space Furries.
@@dankmemes7796It would be my re believable if the Harlequins each had to, like, sacrifice themselves to take out each Custodian, due to the fact that assuming the Harlequins Kiss weapon being able to pierce their armor and liquifying the Custodes in said armor, the Custodes would still be quick enough to retaliate in the time that the Harlequins take to pull their weapon arm out of melee range. It's believable that they could KILL the Custodes, but that doesn't imply superior combat skill when they have a one-hit-kill weapon.
You all dramatically overestimate the Harlequins. The Custodes teleport troops of Hive Tyrants into the palace on Tuesdays _for fun._ I doubt the scary clown men could even so much as scratch them, let alone kill them. Didn’t the author also admit that he confused the Ten Thousand with the Lucifer Blacks?(the guards of the _outer_ palace, whereas the custodians are the guardians of the _inner_ palace)
I remember reading that in the battle of Haranshemash, Eldrad was literaly over a mountain of daemons and just spamming his powers. Said battle is also one of the most impressive ones that GW unfortunally will never write a novel about, an absolute bloodbath where Fuegan kills 32 "daemon lords" and Skulltaker kills 20 exarchs.
I mean honestly on the messing up parts it’s kinda because he’s basically the closest we have got to a peer to Big E and the Silent King. It’s kinda just like part of the job that your fuck ups are basically only massive and by that metric his goofs are definitely smaller.
Ya, tbh when compared to his two peers, at least his fuck ups didn't result in a galaxy wide civil war that tore his race apart, nor did they end up turning his people into mindless metal husks enslaved by shitty gods. Compared to them, his track record is pretty decent lmao.
- Yeah your chaos Termies caught me but they'll fail all 1-3 wounds because of Transhuman.. and yep, he survives with 1HP. Why do you mean why Eldrad has Transhuman? He's a thousands years old space wizard... And let's say about attacks, all three good, yeah no these 2+ are ok they wound, that's just what Farseers have aand your Termie with 2HP left dies and a second one from two attacks.. 4 remaining, I gotta cast a lot of psychic powers to deal with em in my round.
I recommend you read the Jain Zar book if you want to see a young, Pre-Horus Heresy Eldrad. He's absolutely great. Young, powerful, and completely assured of himself, treating his senior Farseers like the charlatans that they are and doing his own thing on the side while jamming his guitar (I'm not joking on that last part)
he entire HH series is built on people acting in the most stupid way imaginable. Not a single major plot point would've happened if anyone there was vaguely smart.
My fellow custodes fans always remember. If a Harlequin player brings up that time they killed a bunch of custodians. Remind them that..... They are totally right. ( they need this. We can take a single L, they don't have much)
*queue that video of Danny Devito slowly crying while whispering* "I get it... I get it now..." You are right. I will be nicer to the Harlequin player. All one (1) of them.
Eldrad wasn’t disguised when he was working with Narek and the dynamic between them was hilarious every time he called him a Xenos Eldrad would get annoyed.
Let it NEVER be forgotten that Abaddon got his arms ripped off in a melee fight to 40k equivalent to Teclis, IE an elf who's old AF and sickly to the point of being useless at melee
While i'm more a 30k Imperium fan I will say Eldrad is a mood, sometimes you understand a subject far better than someone else but convincing them of that is another hurdle entirely without having their ear because theyre too busy trying to take both of yours and your spleen with a chainsword
I really hope that getting new models and the release of novels like the Ghazghkull novel and the Infinite and the Divine I hope that GW will learn that “hey if we actually start making the Xenos factions look cool people might start buying them.” A pipe dream? Certainly but god help me I just want the Xenos factions to do cool shit
Come, come now. Xenos do cool shit all the time...... In the lore..... On the tabletop and with their models? Well.... Every new nid, eldar, ork, and tau feels like a charity case
They should also putt people who actually like those factions and know their lore in charge of making such books. The Eldar and Tau really suffer from having their main books being written by people who straight up have neither of such qualities
@@Lunch_Meat What cool shit do they do? every fucking book is about a damn human doing something better than them or a space marine killing legions of them all the time
Man I wouldn’t call Eldrad incompetent. He just has a whole lot of shit working against him. The spite of the chaos gods, the ignorance and prejudice of the Imperium, half his race being living embodiments of sadism, all kinds of shit. After Ulthwe gave him the boot it was pretty clear that the only ones that ever truly, TRULY had his back were the harlequins. I mean, I know Barthusa Narek helped him take out most of the ranking members of the Cabal, but Barthusa was only in it because Eldrad promised that he would pull some strings to put Lorgar within sniping distance of Barthusa. Like, Eldrad’s last true friend died of a mortal wound dealt to him by Ferrus Manus, when his friend tried to warn Ferrus of the heresy. Since then, Eldrad’s been largely on his own.
@@thesheerwoodcrow5465 honestly Eldrad’s frustration and despair is kinda relatable. He sees something awful coming down the pipe and does everything he can to stop it, not just for himself, but the whole galaxy. And because Tzeentch is an asshole, it just ends up happening anyway. I feel for him. And that’s coming from an Iron Hands fan.
I don't care if anyone disagrees with me, but the Imperium still stands, the eldar haven't died out, chaos is still held back and the galaxy as a whole hasn't been consumed by darkness yet is because of Eldrad's efforts for all these thousands of years. And after doing all that, when fate decides to fuck him over despite it all, he still continues to try and keep the dying light alive as long as he can for this unappreciative galaxy. THAT is why I think he's the true hero of the galaxy. That is why he's one of my favourite characters in the entire setting.
My personal favourite is Ahriman and I think his personal unwanted fuck ups and his hatred for chaos is one of the main things keeping the galaxy safe from chaos. Having one of the main guys on your team being randomly a genius or completely incompetent while playing against you half the time doesn't help, but what are you gonna do, let Skarbrand or Kharn devise the master plan?
In Ghost Warrior we get a tour of Eldrads house and its just about as different to any other faction leaders as you can get, made him far more likable to me.
I loved it when he pretty much told yvraine that most of his belongings were just stuff he got, instead of saying a fancy mean of war trophies, gifts from other craftworlds that owed him, or achievements that no other eldar got. He just used a basic monkeigh description for it.
This just reminds me how much the Ynnari need to be thrown a bone. Their concept is so cool especially with the interesting necromancy/soul magic element. It just seems like every Xenos GW despises the fact they ever created them. Want to see more interaction with Eldrad and the Ynnari to considering he basically made them what they were.
I would love to see your takes on how other ancient races or civilizations from other franchises would do in warhammer such as the orokin from warframe etc.
I'm gonna say this as a player of warframe since the original closed beta there is not enough information on the orokin to really make a video on them regarding how they'd do in warframe. You could speculate based on the tech they left behind or the small lore fragments we have but that's about it.
@Phoenixx true we don't know too much about the orokin but hopefully when the duviri paradox comes out it shines more light on thing but tbh knowing De I'd bring more questions then answers.
@@yuvalgabay1023 if Warhammer 40k, probably the highest tier power still popular scifi is low to mid, what is high my brother? He's ignored by other eldar because he's the only one who doesn't do the elf/eldar thing of "oh no I can't tell you to not touch or do this thing or why". He will actually just say it.
They did not confuse the Custodes for anyone else, it's noted in the text that the weaker Lucifer Blacks gave way to the Custodes the further they got into the palace, and that they were a match for the Harlequins
I’d only known of this guy from his meddling in the Horus Heresy, mainly in the books Fulgrim and The Unremembered Empire, so I sincerely appreciate this video for giving me the full context on him
I dislike his complete inhability at making himself clear because he always wants as few as possible people to know the plan, which generally ends up in other people not even being able to follow it correctly even if they tried. The other exiles are a good example.
Thank you for this pancreas, I will now go back to an old comment saying Eldrad is more powerful than any primarch and die on that hill as a proper elf simp should
Than most I would agree with you, I would easily see him defeat Lorgar, Perturabo, Corax and such, even Guilliman. Still I think having him defeat Magnus or Horus would be quite dumb, Horus's dark god powerboost nearly made him into one and Magnus is still one of the best psykers in the galaxy, so is Eldrad but a duel between them would at best result in a stalemate (since Magnus's own KFC powerboost at least). Let humans have their good psykers and godly avatars, they have less of them. For me a primarch is the equivalent to an avatar of Khaine.
To clear up one thing. The bit about the author being mistaken with the Custodes refers to the Lucifer Blacks, one of the best trained regiments of the Imperial Guard as well as one of the first. They’re set to guard the outside of the Imperial Palace iirc. But also haha funny custodes deaths is way funnier
@@xanmontes8715nah, almost every eldar player I’ve ever met is some form of insufferable. You could probably write a psychology paper on why that particular faction always attracts the least pleasant people on earth. If any xenos faction has earned some Ws it’s green skins. Never had a bad game agaisnt a green skin player in either fantasy or 40k.
No it was Custodes. The bit about Dan Abnett "admitting" a mistake is complete falsehood. Throneworld mentions Lucifer Blacks. The Halrequins even engage some. But when they are fighting Custodes, that are described as giant, super enhanced, clad in gold, wielding gun-spears. Those were Custodes. It’s just that Harlequins are hella undersold
There's literally nothing to indicate that confusion happened except that fanboys can't accept their favorite toy soldiers got beat and needing to make up excuses for it. The Custodes there are described exactly liek you'd expect. Huge, strong, covered head to toe in golden power armor. There was no confusion.
@@leonardomarquesbellini not only that, but the Harlequins need to actually fight some Lucifer Blacks before getting to the Custodes. They fight both and yet people think Dan Abnett confused them somehow Edit: Guy Haley I’m stupid
I feel bad for Eldrad and the Yneead (probs spelling all of that incorrectly) because they are genuinely somewhat competent characters who by all rights and logic should succeed in turning back the tide. But because chaos plot armor they’re never allowed to. Aside from gw profit margins meaning things have to be stagnant aside from the new faction for “money”, I feel you could still plot it to where chaos is defeated and a big over all win for the goodies, and then shift to tyranids. The great bulk of them is a ways off and actively coming. And unending tide that doesn’t have deus ex machina powers aside from they’re just infinite. Or Necrons, nuff said there. And the irks as a threat are just fine, hard to give them a win when the galaxy actively being a shit hole of warfare is a win. But again, GW has a more humanocentrist view than Big E himself, even when said humans are being actively corrupted by chaos into something more alien than the god damn aliens.
@@Troupe_Master yes and no. Obviously space marines have their plot armor but chaos arguably has more. Yes the marines always win, specially if they x marine has a name, but chaos never “loses”. Nothing matters to chaos, they’re winning just as much as the orks. But Slanesh will never get gutted by the eldar, Nurgle will continue to rot, Khorne is hunky dory, and Tzeench is having the best laugh of all time. They’re the “big” threat.
My only issue with the Harlequins killing Custodes is HOW they killed them. With single stabs and slices. A Custodes can keep going with most of its head caved in, so a shank from a sword should be like a paper cut to them.
Its because they were Lucifer Black guardsmen, the best trained based humans in the Imperium, not super soldiers. Still impressive since one of them managed to land a melee hit on a *Primarch*
@@anna-flora999 If we want to be that penadnic, I can play ball. It wasnt even normal Harlequins, it was a Death Jester and a Shadowsear not just regular Harlequins. Even then they all die except one. Or how they directly appeared out of the Eternity Gate (which has so many problems with Eldar somehow getting an Army of Deamons to let them past into that gate, especially since Terra has more than one Webway Portal in system even during that time thanks to being buddy buddy with the Grey Knights, a far better and more logical way to sneak onto Terra, just getting the Grey Knights to get them there) Throneworld, as apart of the War of the Beast series, came out before Codex: Adeptus Custodes. So yeah On multiple levels the Sceen seen in Throneworld doesn't work in the lore. Even with a full God Intervention by Cegorath, breaching the Eternity Gate Post Heresy would have destroyed Terra from the sheer amount of Deamons there. Two on that the actual baseline of the Custodes hadnt been established yet, only being vaguely barely stronger than Space Marines.
@@ssjjshawnthey did not come out of the eternity gate. They made a new gate deeper within the Palace, and immediately destroyed it to prevent the Imperium taking advantage of it. Hell, the Eldar POV starts with them singing the entrance into existence.
Like your Covenant HaloHammer video, would absolutely love to see your take on something like the Galactic Empire from Star Wars in 40k. Not in a “who wins in a fight” scenario but rather the impact another major human empire would have on the Imperium and galaxy at whole. Also ngl the Cabal was definitely one of the worse parts of the HH
I would like to see how people would react to the Dark Empire. Hey, nice Hive city you got there, be a shame if the galaxy's largest space roomba slurped it up!
12:58 within this same story we had the Black Templars willingly let Eldar get within a planet’s distance of a primarch’s body because GW needed a deus ex to get the 8th edition setting retcon-shake-up
You know when you consider how brokenly deadly a harlequin is them being able to wipe out custodies does make a lot of sense. But I would put them on more on 1 to 1 folding.
5:55 about that. Was the Custodes "power level" fully established by that point? It's an older book, and custodes haven't really gotten that much attention until they were introduced into the tabletop (which wasn't that long ago). So I'm wondering if they were FULLY established as the hive fleet killing super super soldiers that they are now today.
According to a few others, apparently, they were mourning for the emperor and lamenting at their failures that they weren't level-headed. Not sure if thats true
Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there. Throneworld was released the year before the Custodes got their codex, so was operating under the "they're better than space marines" power scaling.
Halfway through this I realized this guy’s pretty much the precursor to the Crystal Exarch from Final Fantasy XIV. They’re both half-crystalized super-wizards trying to change the future! Well, at least Exarch’s plans go a little better than Eldrad’s, haha!
Tbf, the exarch's original plan, while it would've worked, would've also been kinda sucky (he was gonna sacrifice himself). We (and emet for that matter) intervene and end up actually doing what he always wanted, but with a much better outcome.
It isn't a huge issue tbh but the problem is Harlequins aren't really the most elite Eldar unit. There would have been no problem with farseers or another kind of elite eldar doing this. The issue is not that Custodes were killed but that the Harlequins survived long enough to present their tooth (which in itself was a stupid plot point, the Custodes are no fanatics but they still dislike Eldar).

That's why I said farseers who are generally the most experienced and psychically potent Eldar, able to use the best a Craftworld has to offer. A fun thing about Eldrad is that he should be stronger than a primarch in lore. So that's a neat fun fact. (Reason for this is that the best scaling for primarchs is Ferrus Manus maybe beating a C'tan shard to death while there's statements that Eldrad's level of power wasn't seen since the fall, pre fall eldar having a statement about playing with stars(an undefined number of them) so he's most likely at least dwarf star level which is more comparable to a transcendent C'tan shard)
I think he is better at large rituals but several primarchs can still run at him and smash his head in while mostly resisting his spells. Especially the chaos powered ones.
Their are like 3 loyalist word bearers an older one who was killed for not abandoning the emperor, the one who worked for eldrad and malcador and the one who became a dreadnaught/living saint and helped edit the early imperial creed

The gameplay loop of banished is always "wow this is going great we're expanding our civilisation so much!" to "oh god we flew too close to the sun, death spiral", no wonder you're a fan
Okay to be fair to Captain Artemis (the deathwatch guy) if all you knew about a situation was that the species which through it's collective action created Slaanesh was now trying to create a god of death that was even more powerful, and step 1 of that plan was to attack humans, you'd probably be willing to do anything to stop it also. Even if you did believe they meant it when they said this might kill Slaanesh. Especially if, as a high ranking deathwatch you were probably intimately aware of the Dark Eldar and that the normal Eldar at least occasionally teamed up with them. @@afivey oh no question it's never not been all space marines all the time.

Powerlessness is horrifying. Moreso when you know the consequences of doing nothing
That's pretty much the Eldar's lot, isn't it? Find out some bad shit is about to happen, try and warn people or do something against it, only for the thing to happen anyway, because something something fate.

The Harlequins beating a bunch of Custodes sounds pretty believable to me. It sounds better than some other fights in the setting. Eh, he did absolutely screw up with fulgrim. He couldn’t notice a daemon blade within 10 feet of him. In clear sight. Though, it’s probably a result of author derp. Considering that fulgrim then choked out an avatar of khaine.
Ya I was gonna say, that was written by the author who had fulgrim "choke" an avatar to death. I couldn't take anything seriously after that.
@@shaderunner8220 For god's sake the one time they have someone who can justifiably beat an avatar of Khaine they have him do it in the most stupid way possible.
Emperor give me patience, we really need to start writing our own lore...
@@xanmontes8715 Listen i'll be your personal reviewer if you find a way to prevent Gav Thorpe from writing any Aeldari piece of lore i swear it
@JainZar say less
Take your time bro, your videos are much loved, keep it up.
There's a loyalist Word Bearer Dreadnought who became the Seraphim of The Emperor
When he saw daemons attacking the planet he was on he walked out and pulled a Lich from Adventure Time by speaking one word and caused the Daemons to drop dead
I can’t wait for you to cover my favorite of the eldar, The Eldar Exodites!! Space elves riding dinosaurs is something that simply can’t be beat
If a couple of normal ass harlequins can murder a bunch of custodians im guessing a solitaire can just walts into the realms of chaos, murder slanesh and get back in time for lunch
A custodies is but a piece of dust compared to a chaos god.
@@anna-flora999 yeah and a harlequin is a light snack
not normal harlequins, a death jester and shadowseer chosen specifically to do the job
Firstly, that's underestimating Harlequins just a bit, secondly, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Solitares *do* go on walks through the warp slaying Daemons on the regular.
@@WurrzagsMorkyMischeifwe found the Custodian Fanboy
I recently started playing dnd for the first time. My first character, half-orc fighter, got kidnapped by Strahd pretty fast so now I'm playing a wood ELF druid. My fellow party members are 2 half-ELVES and a human. We speak to one another in ELVISH a lot just so the human can't understand. Love me some orks but ELF is really fun.
also I love your content :)
also also you can't spell self without ELF. checkmate mon-keigh
I really enjoy these videos they definitely brighten up my day 🔥🔥
I think the end-vid joke should've just been Saltspyre screaming "ELF!" At the top of his lungs.
Harlequins are also like, THE strikeforce! Hitting INSANELY hard and fast. If anyone can put Custodes to the test on their defense it would be them!
Eldrad being immune to perils while under a Kronos shadow in the warp is pain
Yes, more Space Elf videos! The true master race. They've been "dying" for fifteen thousand years and they're still not dead!
You keep making iFunny references, and I’m getting progressively more terrified.
Their are like 3 loyalist word bearers an older one who was killed for not abandoning the emperor, the one who worked for eldrad and malcador and the one who became a dreadnaught/living saint and helped edit the early imperial creed
Even the little mention of Teclis makes me need the Tyrion video
You really gotta feel bad for Eldrad. Even ignoring all the times the universe spits in his face for daring to make it less shit, the poor bastard was born as an elf. That can’t be easy for anyone 😢
The absolute gut punch of ifunny being called out
When ever I hear Eldrad I can’t stop thinking about Stellaris hyper-asprin.
i dont know or care about warhammer fantasy or even 40k anymore but i watch your videos because they make me feel very comfortable for the 10-50 minutes they last. Thanks for that. No idea why thats my reaction though.
Idk man, I think the Black Library should have at least one author for each faction that is a huge fan of that faction.
Eldrad, probably: "Once again the galaxy is quick to bury me... How could my own brothers believe that what transpired did not unfold exactly as I planned. Of course I could not have planned for an ambush *BY MY OWN FORCES!* "
YOU AND LUTIN MADE ME LOVE ELDAR AND ELFS AGINE NOT ELVES THO I HAVENT COME THAT FAR BUT I KID AND THANK YOU ITS OKAY TO WANT THE ELDAR STORY MORE
Loving the Age of Mythology soundtrack in the background
Always a fan of Uldrad, and he deserves a full on win, even if it's a story where he inevitably finally meets his end.
Also is it just me, or does that up close artwork shot of his actual face make him look a LITTLE like Hugo Weaving? Every time I see that art, I can't help but think it.
it's not just you man, I keep thinking Eldrad is WH40K's version of Elrond's movie version or some shit cause of that fanart has him look like Hugo Weaving for some reason, though to be fair a 40K version of Elrond would have been badass as hell
Still not a great look but it is at least understandable.
That's a good point actually.
He admitted that he knew the eldars weren't lying. He has no excuse. He just wanted to murder eldars like all the fanatics psychopath of the death.
I literally clicked on this RIGHT as it went live. Perfect timing.
In fact the writer who wrote the scene where the custodies were dying thought that they were the Lucifer blackguard So it's been reckoned to wear it was Lucifer black guard dying not custodians
Copium xd
@@raa5275 I don't mind the idea of custodians having Equals but the way they wrote it they made it sound like they're superior and well I'm not too troubled with that the harlequins have superior numbers is what pisses me off
Unsure if its a joke or not, since the text clearly say that the Lucifer Blacks left the scene to leave the super human golden warriors with spears to walk in
Unless those custodes are ogryn cosplayers
Then explain why the book clearly states its the custodes, and the characters point out that its significantly harder to kill them?
@@jacobaugustine6249One word. Shadowseer. That and no Sisters of Silence.
Custodes are bad at dealing with psychics, that’s their one defining weakness.
Holy shit 😍 I love how u use the age of mythology theme in the background 😝
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
Say hello to the true hero of the galaxy.
6:42 I've never doubted your ability to glaze the eldar
Pancreas you have made me a lover of Eldar, Im going to be 100% honest Harlequins are my favorite just because of their story and lore. Tho i do really like the armor of their Psykers. Regardless we need more Eldar Ws. Actually, lets get Farsight in on this action, have a three-sides ally thing with cooperative Humans, Eldar, and Farsight and his Enclaves. This could be the start of a beautiful future if GW would allow it
I think it would need to be temporary but yeah it could be great. And harlequins are the best eldar. I still don't like Eldrad's way of communicating though.
The age of mythology music in the background brings me BACK holy crap
