I think the cruising rpm is to high also.i hope you come up with a fix.would like to have a little more"outta the hole"too.i think it has plenty of power,just would like to get it to the ground better.

We got 20% reduction through the clutching on takeoff which made a huge difference out of the hole

One-way bearing in the wet clutch is a issue with kawi right now
