Have you tested the machine going down a steep grade in low range to see how the engine braking is? Because I am sure that with the removal of the primary spring the machine will lose some of it.
@@WVHotRodRhino That is something that I would have to try because where I live there is very steep terrain but I like the lower engine RPM's for sure with this mod. I would venture to say that the fuel consumption would be less along with longer engine life due to this modification.
@@WVHotRodRhino Yes I know that. The primary spring holds resistance against the clutch weights so the softer the primary spring or lack of the primary clutch will up shift at lower RPM's just like you show in the video. So therefore when descending a steep grade the primary clutch will indeed upshift to a higher drive ratio and the engine braking will indeed be not as effective. Out west in the Rocky Mountains where I live there are many very steep trails.
@@bretstephensen8821 we have very steep hills here also and the difference is very little. With our new secondary spring there is no difference in it but still has lower rpms in the mid range
Very easy.. if you want to drag race leave it in if you want to be able to cruise around and enjoy it then take it out. Our new secondary spring will be done in about 6 weeks it will be the best of both worlds
I don’t get it? How can you just remove the spring? Can you please explain
Did you ever come out with the new spring? I didn’t see it on your site.
Just taking a little while longer from eibach because of covid
@@WVHotRodRhino ok. Thanks for the reply
My cvt temp would be at the halfway mark going that speed. My machine just hit 100 miles. Any reason why it’s climbing temp?
All you did was removed the primary spring? What's the negative side effects?
Yes.. a little slower in a drag race but much better cruising in the woods and riding around.no loss in bottom end for rock crawling
@@WVHotRodRhino when you get the gear reduction done, might take care of that.

I have many miles on the older style teryx and 200 plus without it in the krx and engine braking is still good.very little difference

Would like for someone to explain how I can remove my primary spring, make sure it want my krx1000. 2021?
on my krx between 30 and 40 it feels like it shifts into a hire gear ??
your weights are getting wore..how many miles on it
