Talking about Indian market, more than 80 percent people who own the I phones are the one who can't afford it and wants to look rich.. Ex: guy with 10k monthly salary buys I phone on emi and pays 6k emi every month..
Few points more: 1. No alternatives other than Samsung for someone who can afford premium phones 2. Apple strategy of keep selling 2 generation old iPhones at much cheaper price -> this is one of the most contributing factors. 3. Increased spending power of consumers at cheap loans.
@@dhuvamtitell that to chapri people 😂 , for them it don't matter , most people who use iPhone don't ven use it about 50% of its capabilities , they only buy it for show-off
As for the tablets, iPads are simply unmatched. The non pro models are cheaper than the iPhone and yet packs a lot of power. They last longer compared to the Android tablets which last 2-3 years at max.
Not just brand, they indeed do deliver. I had bought my MacBook in 2017. And till date it runs as smooth as the date I bought. Not a single issue or even lag. Not sure if any windows laptop of that time could work so flawlessly. I got my iPad in 2019 and I’ve not a single problem with it. I completely agree with you. I was one of them too. I was using Oneplus 6 and planned to get Oneplus 9 but the company killed my old Oneplus 6 through an update making it dead. That was when I decided to change the brand. The reason I chose iPhone 12 during BBD Sale 2021 were 1. There was no other Samsung flagship model affordable. 2. Couldn't trust Oneplus after they killed my Oneplus 6 through an update. 3. iPhone 12 could be used for long term. They release software updates to to every model on the same day at the same time for 4 to 5 years or even more.
Yes, I heard the same from my friend that he faced so many issues with Oneplus 6 software update. Thank god that my Oneplus 5T is still alive and going strong even after 4 years. I am also planning to switch to Apple 14 pro series this year since there wont be any notch, type c charging (atlast ) and 48 mp camera upgrade.
@@cloud_1216 Thats because updates in Oneplus 5T stopped with Android 10. They started doing this with Oneplus 6 through Android 11 update. Before that Oneplus used to be great.
This software update thing got my sister's and many other people's Samsung galaxy a50 device dead. Now I'm using this device running on a custom ROM (lineage os) and have not been facing this issue of getting stuck on boot logo (bootloop) and auto restart anymore. Not sure what was the cause of this issue but it seems to have been fixed. On the other hand, service center people were asking for 8k inr to replace the entire motherboard.

@Swapnil, well said. Most people in my group have iPhone 12 and 13 and none bought it for status. Its just so easy to use, reliably connects with other devices and never lags! In the last 2 years I have seen so many people who have moved to apple. My 2.5 year old iPhone 11 is good as new and even though I will replace it this year for iphone 14 series later in the year, it can easily do 2 more years and I will be using it as my secondary device.

I have had an iphone se (original), and ran it upto ios 14 in 2021, sold it recently. Bought it around 2018 for 16-17k. This was the best way to experience the apple then, now the prices have hiked steeply even from a entry budget point. What I can tell you from my limited experience and why people may choose iphones over and above brand value and the luxury showoff factor (which I mind you is still a very marginal percentage) is the qulaity of the product, the build, the overall feel, and the no-nonsense software and the longevity of it. Very reliable cameras. Infact if any of my known ones ever ask me for a great camera phone, to make content or simply just, I would recommend to go for older iphones or good 2nd hand ones. Yes, they are that good and consistent. The media streaming experience was great too. I felt the interface were better and the sound quality was just gorgeous. I had a large screen android too at that time (a midrange phone) yet preferred the small screen iphone for the experience. And if you've experienced instagram on iphone you'll question the existence of it's android counterpart. Now a very definitive response to who should not buy iphones, no matter old new pros or max because that no-nonsense software that makes it a great experience becomes a no-sense software at times of specific need. And no youtuber talks about it, I just cannot fathom why! This bloody phone does not have a file manager. And that itself can count for counter productivity. I mean its a mess. You cannot simply look at a file and delete it or share it. You cannot arrange your files or rename it. You have to specifically open an app and paste it. The apps are locked amd stand-alone in itself. I mean in android if you have video files, lets say if you download a mx player or vlc, they would automatically show up when you open the app. Or you have certain pdf files, they would automatically arrange and show when you open the adobe reader app. Whereas in ios they are stand alone apps by themselves. So you have to manually paste the items to specific apps to get the results. And that takes up double space too. And thats why you need to buy a higher memory capacity iphone. Because no matter how capable the chipset is, the software is Dumb. Just plain dumb. *Also the app sizes of almost all apps are larger than the android counterpart. I was a stundent back then, and if you are too or someone who has to download various files on a daily basis, edit them or share them. If you have to deal with multiple apps specifically belonging to the utility or productivity category. You can absolutely skip the iphone.
Totally agree with you. Although, the file management, renaming etc is there in the files app but yeah you do have to import them in apps in case of video files. In shorter words, If you use your phone from the perspective of well known apps and that's all you care about then go for iPhone. If you are someone who makes their own use case by doing stuff manually, pushing and pulling files from one app to another, side loading apps or using some cracked or rare apps then I guess you should be with Android.
exactly 100% true. agar tumhe phone bas call karnekeliye, instagram chalanekeliye, photo leke social media pe post karnekeliye chahiye tho iphone chalega, instead tumhe phone pe kuch kuch kaam bhi karna hai tho android hi lena padega.
Jee bilkul. Call quality, cellular reception bahut hi badiya. Cameras solid. Build material top class. Screen aur sound quality bhi zabardast. Content streaming lajawab. Aur privacy & security o ho ho. Aur kya chipset, 3-4,saal purana lelo aajkal ke android wale upper midrange walon ko dhool chatwade. Games main khelta nahin, par jo khelte hai mast khel jaate hai. Because no other brand is providing with customer satisfaction! All Android brands in India like MI, Vivo, etc have some sort of inherent bugs either hardware or software. The low cost and midrange Android phones(10,000-20,000) are most to blame. If one is paying he should at least have the basic operations running smoothly but naah these companies don't do that. In the Android market I think only Samsung is keeping it up with their customer satisfaction.
You only saying things that are right according to you not people have different taste. Midrange phones are great and enough for many people needs. And there are lot of phones in this price segment that offers things according to users need. Some are gaming centric, some are camera, some give better display and software and many combination with different things like battery, charging, storage type and size. I am a programmer and open-source fanboy for 4 years now. I love Android Operating System. I have just switched to iOS, and now I recommend iPhones to the ones who can afford it. It’s not because Android is bad. It’s because, we don’t have a good Android phone right now. iOS is so awesomely developed. The experience is top notch. Yeah, I fucking hate the restrictions. But the overall experience is much better than using an android. Plus, you get 5-6 years of updates. Which brings me to the price. Look, if you go for a 20k android, you get maximum of 2 years of update, not to say the last update makes the phone slower. In iPhones, 50k will get you 5 years of update. That’s 10k per year, and iPhone 6/7 is still faster than redmi note 7/8. So, it’s a better deal in long term. Plus the privacy features are damn good, trust me. So, the bottom line is- if you can afford to spend 50k at once. Go for an iPhone. It’s a better option. I’m waiting for Pixel’s tensor chip phones to launch in india. They will unleash the actual power of android. I’ll probably switch back to android then.

If OnePlus didn't merge with oppo then I would have definitely go with OnePlus (No Oxygen Os or Oxygen Os similar to color os) but reality is different. If pixel launched in India then atleast I pushed my budget up but google doesn't care about Indian market. The next option is Samsung. iphone is good, but for me the most important feature that it lacks is 'call recording' and 'caller identification' app (like truecaller). For this reason alone, I won't ever buy an iphone. I don't know about anybody else, but people everywhere sometimes says anything they want. And in case a situation arises where it's just your words against the other, having a call recording can empower you to hold them accountable to whatever they said.
Call recording is illegal everywhere. It violates privacy issue. People who record conversations are nothing but creepy. If you can’t trust a person with words then that’s your problem not the phone’s. Chinese companies provide illegal services nd people buy it like hotcake lol

I completely agree with you. I was one of them too. I was using Oneplus 6 and planned to get Oneplus 9 but the company killed my old Oneplus 6 through an update making it dead. That was when I decided to change the brand. The reason I chose iPhone 12 during BBD Sale 2021 were
1. There was no other Samsung flagship model affordable.
2. Couldn't trust Oneplus after they killed my Oneplus 6 through an update.
3. iPhone 12 could be used for long term. They release software updates to to every model on the same day at the same time for 4 to 5 years or even more.

One reason is also that the looks and in hand feel of iphones are great no Android device can attract more than an iPhone with so many colours.
@Joel O Exactly!
@Joel O I'll Blame it to Covid.
You only saying things that are right according to you not people have different taste.
Midrange phones are great and enough for many people needs. And there are lot of phones in this price segment that offers things according to users need.
Some are gaming centric, some are camera, some give better display and software and many combination with different things like battery, charging, storage type and size.
Not all people want same phone they have different needs. The only Thing that looks gimmick is 3-4 camera setup but again I saw many people want these many cameras and they actually pick the phone with multiple camera options.
So it's very hard to understand peoples need...
@Joel O *You are wrong only Chinese phones takes Android to next level in any budget segment with lots of crazy technology, before Xiaomi, samsung used to launch their garbage and shittiest products just to earn money from a market where people don't know anything in technology even in 40-50k their products were garbage*

I on the other hand buy used iPhones because they offer such great value.
I bought iPhone XR in 2021 July for 21000 which is great for the iPhone XR
Good
I can't get over the fact that any phone may it be samsung or apple or any other brand costing over a lakh INR is absolutely insane. How in the world are we a developing country when even teenagers have the purchasing power to shell out more than a lakh for a phone.........contemplating...
Lol yesterday I saw a class 8th or 9th student using social media sitting on his Scooty after the school was over 😂😂I had a Nokia 5300 express music my first phone in 11th .which I took to school only once In a function.

The Apps that are available on the App Store, along with Apple's own apps, is what makes all the difference, apart from the great build quality of Apple products.
bruh what , play store has way more apps
@@xcarnage8632 True, but I wasn't speaking about numbers.
@Yuvraj Poudyal so? You are not forced to download them. Playstore has all the good apps too, having more apps which most people wont download is better no? The garbage apps you are referring to are not at the cost of anything so whats the harm

There were a time when Samsung cuts its price nearly half after some time but nowadays S series phones don't get much price drop and remain costlier than iPhones so people buy are buying iPhones.
the s21 models have very less discount even though they are almost a year old.
Samsung's r the worst
Wouldn't recommend samsung
I used to have htc
Hated that
My first smartphone was samsung
I hated it
Great Work Sir. Video is Excellent and Informative as always...🙂
This video is full of facts, no BS. You just got a new subscriber man.
A major reason you missed. People have a lot of money in India but they buy from foriegn either direct or through friends. Due to covid people are not going out of India so they bought locally.
Same man
i prefer android for it's custom rom support and community of developers who develop custom roms 😁
* people in the comment section are nagging and pointing out the drawbacks of android updates and the companies stop updating their phones after a certain period of time. Then why don't people use custom roms foe their phones.
In my case I use Le Eco Le max 2 which was wayback discontinued from Indian market 5 years ago. The phone came with Android 6 and currently I am using Android 11 now going to update to android 12. I use custom roms on my phone and phone works much better than the original company's software with which phone comes pre-installed.
@@Fekuchand_
Yup, I have used a lot of custom roms in past. They have their own drawbacks.Trust me, I’m not an advocate of iOS. I am a Linux user since 5 years now. I love the open source community. But, not every user can flash custom roms in their phones. And use magisk or other mods to use banking apps. iPhones are just really good piece of hardware clubbed with incredibly polished software giving the end user a smooth overall experience. After a while you will get bored of using custom roms and doing experiments with your phone, buddy. I know, I got.
@@burnwalsourabh works fine but banking apps have problems. Well for me there is no other option than custom rom cuz mine phone is 5 years old 😅

i believe a person who earns 100k per month, should buy a 50k iPhone

Bro i was considering oneplus till oneplus 7 series now i use samsung A52s which i bought for 30500 with 2 year warranty
I'm planning to buy A52s so how is it doing?
@@gabadu529 if u get under 30000 it is the best smartphone u can buy
@@gabadu529 yeah I been using Samsung A52s for the past 6 months and it’s one of the good phones even if u get for 28-30k.it had headphone jack,Good battery backup,OneUI features ,IP65rating.
Thank you I'd definitely buy one now
Another reason is competitors. Let's say I want to buy a phone under 50k budget. Tbh if I want a Samsung phone worth of 60k then obviously I'll also look for iPhone because of my buying capacity. Literally there is no other option for brands between to 50k-60k. Another important thing is the software life cycle for iPhone is way better than Android. I wish google also introduce their pixel variants in the same marketing strategy then they would completely replace Samsung and iPhone market in India.
i started out with an iPad during the pandemic for my uni work, my hp laptop gave up switched to macbook m1air because college was online and i wanted a long lasting laptop because i had to switch 2 hp laptops back to back, so invested into macbook air :') , also was impressed with the working of iPad. I got both of them on student discount options and. i got airpods free with my macbook air :D the only thing left is an iPhone which i'm definitely considering maybe after 1 year or so when my current phone gets exhausted. Apple products are long lasting and really efficient. also a note, their customer service is amazing!!! super efficient and helpful and reallly fast.
Great review! Thanks
Real reason is that the 1990s generation who followed the phone journey from the beginning and were very interested in ios and android, now have started earning and are purchasing these phones
iphone is good, but for me the most important feature that it lacks is 'call recording' and 'caller identification' app (like truecaller).
Agreed this is not yet another tech channel 👍❤️
Thank you 😌
Informative video. However, one cannot discredit the role played by easy loans and things like no cost emi. Microfinancing was a huge factor.
Never have I ever seen an Indian UA-camr speaking in Hindi, being so well paced and well informative content. Really wow. You like desi Tech Altar. Awesome man wish you more success brother.
Seeing this in my 13 Pro Max 256gb and I would like add for my I always a carry two phone one android and one iOS. Only now in 2021 apple device become my primary phone other wise I always had it as a my secondary with iPhone 11, XR, 8, SE og, and so forth. Android flagships like S9+, S8+, Nexuses and Pixels used to be my primary.
Software in the last two major release have been really focused on for power and technical users. iOS was feature rich but not power user friendly until recently. Hell the default email app couldn’t open a attached txt file in the mail lol
Thanks for this awesome compliment 😂❤️
Such an interesting video backed by data. Need more of such content from the country!
I was really looking forward to buy s22, but it was too expensive and had small battery. For same price iphone seemed like better deal. Crazy thing is samsung and apple have eaten out every other premium smartphone brand. Didn't have any other options, anyways, ended up ordering an imported pixel 6
I think pixel 6 is the best looking phone compared to iPhone 13 or Samsung s22.
How is the performance so far?
couldve gone for s21 fe..its better than s22
I think the Google Pixel might be a big player in the future

iPhone Battery is amazing have been using 13 pro from last one month. Once it is charged more than 90% it will easily last whole day with medium to heavy use. I was using Oneplus 8t before that and trust me I had to change it at least twice a day.

bought my iPhone 11 the day it was available in india, Oct 2019. Its been almost 2.5Yrs of using the phone on a daily basis, did everything with this phone, at certain point of time, you forgot how costly the phone is/was, and used it like a spare phone (underwater slowmo, 4K videos on hot summer beaches, even used my phone as a GPS for my bike almost everytime i want to travel), and the thing is, it still works like a brand new phone, yes it has scratches her and there, but the user experience is still the same. Sometimes, and thats one single day, i remember the rear camera was not activating itself, but i never faced any issues, not even a single one, that tells me that the phone has aged. I am planning to use this phone for 3-4years more, and i know i would still get software updates, and will buy another iPhone. :)
Bhai iss saal note bhi aagya S22ultra kay naam say aur S22, S22+ dono model bhi badhiya hai toh iss saal samsung ki sale dekhne layak hogi. Samsung got 70k+ prebooking in the first 12 hours.

M1 changed the landscape. It provides performance cheaper than equally specxed windows alternative. Equally specced windows alternative would need an rtx 3060 at least
