Thank you so so much! I've realised I can actually use a trailing stop even as a profitable take profit. Sometimes I close out at 50 pips then the trade goes to 238 pips or so!!!
An alernative is to use the Trailing Stop value as noise filter but using the Trailing Step for that makes sense. Makes possibe to use a smaller Trailing Stop value.
Brilliant explanation, I have been trading now for at least around 1 month on a practise account and I had no clue how to use one of these. So far everything else I have learnt I have self taught myself. I think I can definitely say that this is favorite hobby !
Hello. Thanks for your vid. I have a good understanding of how a trailing stop works and how it locks-in higher profits. From an FX point of view, I am still a little confused about a few things. 1) When starting a new trade, when does the trailing stop kick in? Is it when the trailing gap (say 40 pips) is first achieved? 2) Do you still use a normal TP with a trailing stop or do you simply stop using a TP in this situation? If you are using a trailing stop with a TP, which one takes precedence? 3) Finally, do you start a trade with a trailing stop or is it something you would add later once you have an idea of where the trade is going? Excuse my ignorance! Thank you.

Bro what's the minimum pip to apply trailing stop???
I love this strategy. What trading platform is being used here to implement the Trailing Stop? Thanks!
See www.financial-spread-betting.com/spreadbetting/compare-spreads.html I would suggest Bux Markets or Trade Nation
Hi, thanks for the explanation. I probably missed it but how do you take /set your partial profit? Have subscribed.
Beautiful
Michael Phelps I tell you!
Ordinary MT4 has no trailing stop loss.
