- Whether God exists or not doesn't matter. One thing is certain though that you do not know. This looming feeling about whether God exists or not is an indication that admitting that you don't know will put you in a seeking mode of every possibility that you can find out for yourself. It is such beautiful way to exist.

However for those of you who do not even try to understand him you will be forced to face the consequences of your ignorance at some point. I was never a religious person and now i know. There was a time when I was afraid of God, but then I listened The Buddha, Buddha says don't believe in something coz it's written by someone, don't believe in something coz it is said by group of peoples, don't even believe in something coz I myself maintained it, use your intelligence & experience, to test it. Buddha's one line make me so powerful that I don't afraid of any God-all combined. Hail science 🙌

This a very common fallacy that theists come up with. Atheism is lack of belief, it’s not a belief system. For example, not collecting stamps cannot be classified as a hobby while collecting stamps can be.

Atheist- lacks belief in a god(s)
A person who lacks belief in a god may hold that god(s) do not exist, OR they may say they do not know - either way, you are "a"theist. Distilled down, an absence of a positive can be demonstration of a negative, however, it is not necessarily a demonstration of a negative. This UA-cam short demonstrates a potential area of growth and understanding for this individual.
I am afraid, your argument is still coming from a human dimension of knowledge and intellectual analysis. This is about going beyond that and realising the possibility of accepting what "I do not know" offers.

Moving past the "human dimension," the wise guru made a claim about atheism that shows a lack of understanding on the dichotomy between the philosophy of atheism and theism. Someone who states that atheism is the belief that there are no gods is actually holding a rather narrow esoteric definition of the position. The wise guru's understanding is flawed.
@@ChogTheGreat He didn't even talk about the distinction between atheism theism. You just assumed it that way. And there is no place for intellectual analysis in Eastern Spirituality, it may be done for fun. But they place little to no importance on the psychological dimensions.
This Guru only talked about going beyond your beliefs or non beliefs. Because believing something doesn't mean it's the reality. Believing something doesn't even mean you know it. You believe something you do not know. What you know, you know. A lot of people have their reality distorted all over.
Somebody probably needs to explore more about the Eastern Spirituality before making his conclusions.
@@samkakc go back and re-watch the short. He opens with making the statement that both atheism and theism are belief claims. This is not correct. Theism is a belief and atheism is not. A lack of belief is not a knowledge or belief claim and this is the thing that the wise old guru totally misses with regard to atheism. I am correcting his misunderstanding. Surely the wise old guru would have the intellectual humility to be open to changing his mind when he is not correct about something. This is something I've seen him get wrong a number of times now.

He doesn't even mention the terms "Atheism or Theism". You just interpreted it in your head. What if he's not saying about the absence of beliefs, i.e. not implying atheism? But for the sake of your comment let's agree with you. But what's the importance if you got the terms correct? It means nothing existentially. What does it matter if you got the meaning correct when you can't experience a dimension transcending the psychological makeup.
Whether there is a belief or an absence of beliefs, the guy is just asking us to go beyond belief-disbelief or lack of belief whatever drama, to understanding the power of ignorance or "I do not know" simply. Only then the longing to know will arise.

That is not true, those who believe in God are not in the same boat as those who do not believe in God. Those who believe in God can draw from more experience, reactions, morals and theological inspiration to say the least. The religious person ahs more expectancy, higher level of faith, more spiritual; support and a better purpose. Those who do not believe in God do not have these things.

Because they don’t care for your souls, when we do. I’m a Christian and I believe in a God that will judge everyone for their sins but gave them a way out which is through Jesus Christ. God sent His Son to world not to condemn it, but to save it because without a blood shed there is no remission of sins. If Jesus never came, we would all be judged according to our acts and deeds because the wages of sin is death; You and I broke the law, but Jesus paid the fine in full. Jesus loved you to die for you, come to Him so He can give you rest. He will only do that if you humble yourself and repent. Jesus says if you seek Him with all your heart, you’ll find Him

I know there absolutely is a God and his name is Jesus Christ. It's easier for atheists to believe there is no God so they don't have to live in moral bounds, nor sacrifice anything for God. It's a selfish me first, do as I want, attitude and it's taking people to hell.
People can call the Source of Creation as God or something else based on their culture and beliefs.
If humanity is throbbing in everyone, there would be no need for morality of right and wrong, you just treat everyone lovingly and joyfully. For that to happen being inclusive of all things and everyone is the only way. Jesus included all in his humanity that's why he rose. The question to think about is, are we already in heaven on this Earth and making a hell out of it? And are we going to keep segregating people because cultures and beliefs are different?
