I am someone who is engaging with a Scottish PT who is using the approaches you are speaking about, and I feel benefitting from it immensly. I was interested in what Peter said about relationships/conversations between, 'clinicians' and the individuals- asa lay person I have no clue how to tackle this but I can't help feeling that because professional people in our world are forced to don coats of expertise and therefore train/think of themselves as clinicians rather than healers- because that word itself has been sent to the back of the classroom denoting weird or 'alternative'- it would be such an exciting advance to re-install that word/concept as a positive force, mitigating for genuine theraputic relationships which can allow space for the respectful listening, without the practice or expectation that some other person knows more about your body than it does. I say this after many frustrating experiences with PT...until now.
