Allow me to express some objections. I believe there might be potential inaccuracies in your demonstration of food bolus propulsion. The illustration merely showcases the observable two-dimensional movement, whereas the actual propulsion in three-dimensional space is likely to differ. In fact, the concept of circular muscle also applies to the two-dimensional domain.

What about the longitudinal muscle... if it contract or relax what will happen ? I just can't imagine that...
