I want you tell you thank you so much, I've been sending your videos to my son because of his 2 year old. They were expecting him to be able to speak completely at age 2. Your videos have helped me to help him to understand her must engage him in speaking and the learning processes of small children. Tysvm 🥰🥰
Very nice and practical tip. It really works. I have tried something similar with legos with my son. He needs my help opening the container where I keep them. He often brings it to me to get it opened. I don't give all of them at the same time. He often attempts his own version of the 'more' sign to ask for more legos. Similarly, I've also had the greatest success getting him to imitate words like 'up', 'down', 'in', out', 'build', 'block', 'knock' when I model them in context in a repetitive and familiar pattern.
im watching this because of my sister, she is six and she can say words but only talks to my mom dad and me and my other sister nobody else, she never talks at school sports anything this helped a lot and i am very concerned for her and want to help her a lot, thank you!
Thanks i just got here - from New Zealand.....,,My son is 6 years old ,, I was thinking he will pull threw but ive realized he needs my help im new to fatherhood....,,so im guessing
Those are great tips. I find myself talking to my son with sentences that he does not understand, in turn he will just ignore me. So that is very true.
this is what i usually do to my autistic 3 yr old daughter i always give her simple instructions one to two words and she follows them most of the time
My son is almost 3years old but he doesn't respond nor speak to me. But I noticed he is good with spellings and numbers. Also he speak to himself... I'm worried😢
@AgentsofSpeech I have a daughter born April 26th 2022. She's 20mths now. she's not responding to her name consistently but when she watches TV she tries to repeat what she hears. She babbles etc can say wow dog bubbles and oh. She has an alphabet book and is able to identify some words. Is this a cause for concern. She walked late at around 16 months and also started clapping after she learned to walk
Same thing with my son, he was born 19th of May 2022.He walked at 14 months. He just turned 21 months. He can communicate but he can't talk to much. (he knows Mum, Dad and open)
Thank you very much! I have a hard time teaching my 4 year old son because they said, I need to speak in Korean only and english is banned at home. It's so difficult as a Filipina speaking 4 languages. I am not still fluent in Korean and it is very stressful and so much pressure on me as a mother. They blamed me for speaking in english and korean at the same time. My son is easy to learn english than Korean language but he understands basic commands, only he cannot answer a question, make a question and construct a sentence.
Same my Quora says Mama/Dada if we're lucky born Nov 2022. Shes my 3rd girl and my 2 older ones really didn't kick off til 3. Have you seen improvement?
My daughter just turned 3. She can talk a little bit, some words r hard to understand, she can also ask me questions, tells me when she needs to go to the toilet. But i still feel like she should be saying more. Should she be saying more or is she at a decent level?
Don't worry..every child has his own tempo..my couisn did't speak anythig till year of 3.Today he is very successfull man.I think that parents has a too much pressure..it is importan t that she is happy and healty kid..she will speak when she is ready..
Hello ! Nice videos I saw on your channel! My best friend's child is 5 years and 4 months old, he still doesn't speak. Like you said, in my opinion, he doesn't see the need to speak. My friend and her husband are in deep depression, they've been to many doctors, at first their child was diagnosed with autism, after, they were told that it's not autism, it is sensory and motoric alalia. The child visits a professional therapists who try to make him talk etc. The child also make scandals and can beat himself so hard he becomes red. Also, a very weird sidenote, but sometimes he lies on the bed or couch and make the 'sexual' moves. He does this until he is exhausted. And if somebody interrupts him, he would make a scandal and cry and scream. So nobody disturbs him when he does this his thing. Is this something normal also or abnormal? Could you suggest any other ways for a FIVE year old or what I can suggest her and her husband to look for? Anyway, I will continue watching your videos, if I find something helpful, I will show it to my best friend. Thank you for you work. Really. P.S.: They have older children 10 and 9 years old. They are totally fine and act and speak normally.
Sometimes I feel like I failed my child. He is 5 years old and still not speaking. He would revite things he hears on videos e.g songs or nursery rhymes and be well engaged in that but does not speak with us. When and if he does say something functionally e.g juice please because qe are by the table eating he may not say again for a long time after. I just dont want to give up I can't but why why why cant he use his words functionally and consistently. 😢
It’s everyday everyday patience, lots and lots of patience, consistency doing it over and over again… I’m teaching a little boy and I feel like I’m so annoying saying and doing the same things over and over but it works. Lots of Love, Laughter, praise… keep it easy going, fun and just keep going.❤️🙏🏼
I am having a hard time.. my 3 year old child is verbal she can say tje alphabets, animal names etc..but she dont say what she wants or dont.. she uses hand leading if she wants spmething or whining.. shes diagnosed with asd. She's already having therapy occupational therapy but until now doesnt know to say her wants and needs
My child is 5.5 years old, not speaking ( just say mummmma) sometimes papa fafa, some sounds( not meaningful), but understands almost everything. He is not ble to understand the need of speech, as he take our hand or point to object of need, wht cn be done
same problem with my friend's son. they pretend no to understand what their son wants when he pointed out or asking of something so force their son to say it.

the first step is to get his compliance and see if he can imitate any sounds or actions
