  • Indian Springs State Park is located in Flovilla, Georgia (Butts County). This 765-acre state park is the oldest state park in Georgia along with Vogel State Park. It is also considered to be the oldest in the nation! This land was originally acquired by the U.S. and the state of Georgia back in the 1820's with a series of treaties between the Creek Nation. With a $5 entry fee, there is quite a lot to do. They have a lovely area Sandy Creek to wade in, with its flowing water over a series of rocks, they also have 2 hiking trails, mini golf, a playground, a 105-acre lake, an event center, campground and cottages. Please watch the full video for more information!

Sandy Creek looks lovely and refreshing. I guess, except for the Poopbutt. I love the streams and lake and little waterfalls. It is such a beautiful area. The village with the shops and old hotels turned museums sound like a great place to explore for a few hours - especially Stagecoach Sweet Shop! Mini golf is always fun. Thanks for sharing Indian Springs State Park with us!

Another cool area to explore. Neat to hear the history of the Spring and State Park. I'm not so sure I'd be eager to taste the water if it smells like Sulphur though. LOL. I have had mineral laden water before and can barely choke it down sometimes. Nice job capturing the beauty of the area. Great to see all your explorations with the family. Have a wonderful day.

Looked a nice park and the weather was great, we could use that today in a very wet and rainy North of England. Plenty to see and for the kids to enjoy and I like the look of ice cream and home made fudge! Kinda strange seeing an armadillo just randomly running passed but I did like the deer. I love mini golf but get too competitive, so no one will play with me lol. The cottage looked very nice and with a lake view like that no wonder you enjoyed it there, cheers Alan

Another gorgeous state park! Wow 😮 I’m so excited it’s spring again and I can get out and enjoy nature some more 🥰 beware sign made me chuckle too 😂 love the fun fact, amazing it’s one of the oldest in the US. Love the sounds of the water flowing, so beautiful and soothing 🥰 amazing historic building, so cool. Lovely shop, ouuu gotta love when it feels like you are in grandma’s kitchen! Now I’m craving ice cream hehe. Awe I love the deer, was that a possum? Mini golf looks fun! Beautiful views on the trail 🥰 cute cottage! Love how it’s surrounded by the beautiful trees. Amazing video as always, thanks for sharing with us 😊💕

Hi A. A. O. T. OMG, about time for vacation..Any planning started? It is time to visit some cool waterfalls..
Wow...I don't believe still PPL use this pump to take water 2:35...So the water is tested and qualified to be consume...How was it? mineral? Sure...Ice Cream is my favorite dessert...yummy. Like supporting local business. Lovely birds chirping in background at Beaver Dam.Indeed the cottage you stayed seems very decent and sophisticated. I would like to wake up early and see the sunrise and mist coming up from the lake...Picture perfect.... As always very educational and informative... Look forward to new adventure.
