I am working on a precession Oracle and what is interesting is during the Age of Taurus when Taurus was rising an hour before dawn on the Spring Equinox. The sun in Taurus would be the Full Moon in Imhotep. This was the age when the pyramids were built. The decans are a through back to the 3-ten day weeks each month in the Egyptian calendar.
Which Egyptian calendar? I am currently doing the Western Astrology Decan Walk because of it's association with the Tarot system, however I recently came across Travis McHenry's new oracle deck called "The Egyptian Star Oracle" about the 36 Decans and it was more likely to start in August which would roughly put the 13th decan at Ophiuchus. The Decans would have started with the rise of Sirius on the Horizon, not the Sun in Aries. I was trying to do the math while I was watching this....lol Another lady I follow Julie Cuccia Watts, is a creator of many tarot decks and is currently working on an oracle deck, created a Real Sky Astrology Tarot Deck and Workbook that also ties Ophuichus in with Imhotep.
