    i was running starcraft2 on all highest settings. no lag. butter smooth with the 60hz screen. although the cpu it was running up to max 95degrees , the 2070 gpu was at max 79degrees. the system was at 80degrees.. this was all at having the laptop flat on the table. once i raised it and had air flowing through the temperture dropped to 6-7 degrees. i was shocked on how quick these fans work. amazing.. the 4k gameplay and videos of starcraft2 was really kool to witness. i will be posting more under this tab for future details of the product.

    Cool, is this pen good for digital painting in photoshop? Do you think its almost as accurate as cintiq on pressure sensitivity wise? I'm deciding between this and wacom mobile studio pro 16 which has Pro Pen 2. The pen is the only deciding factor for me now

      Idk about that. I'm new to technology myself. But I think this product model is more for the on the go create and sketch ideas.. its a great price of art. I drew somethings here and there. I would say this is great for 2d drawing. Its stable enough for art but I would recommend putting a large pen sock thingy for long use of drawing to make the pen bigger to hold in hand. If u are a artist needing a new working station I would recodmend getting something a little more complex. Itl work in anyway u use it. Just how good are you in using what you got is the main question.

      @@bluecollaredbill Good to know that, but I heard the pressure sensitivity is less or no at all when using Corel Painter community.acer.com/en/discussion/627608/why-is-my-conceptd-7-pro-ezel-unable-to-get-any-pen-pressure-sensitivity-in-corel-painter-2020. And there's no wacom feel driver and pen customization as for now :( forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/so-i-got-my-conceptd-7-ezel-and-i-feel-like-i-owe-you-guys-a-review.75633/

      @@kfkok4instamedia918 I don't know what corel painter is. I've only tried out blender and 3dpaint. Its good for students beginning to learn id say due to it standard model type.

      @@bluecollaredbill Hey Bill, so I got this laptop now but mine is having pen parallax problem near the screen bottom (where the cursor is not aligned under the pen tip). I have asked about this on tablet pc forum (google tablet pc forum acer conceptd 7 ezel parallax, because I couldn't post the link in comment, youtube will block it), but there are no conceptD 7 Ezel users there to confirm this. So I have no choice but to ask here, does your unit have pen parallax problem near the bottom screen too? Thanks in advance ~

      @@kfkok4instamedia918 I’ve had no issues with that. But it does seem to be off just a tad, I think it’s the way they made it. Might be a couple centimeters. Or the way you hold the pen. I’d recommend getting a techy look at it. I never noticed anything drastic.

    Thanks for the review. Are you still recommending this laptop after a year? how much time can this machine last off the charger with moderate use/browsing etc?

    • @bluecollaredbill
      @bluecollaredbill  3 роки тому

      I do not recommend. I use an Alienware laptop now. Terrible battery life off charger. Maybe 1 hour most likely less

      @@bluecollaredbill did it ever start to lag? How long after owning did you become disappointed with it?

    • @bluecollaredbill
      @bluecollaredbill  3 роки тому

      @@RightWithGodMinistries no lag ever. My brother uses it to code for school. I just saw that the newer games coming out required more tech. And I decided to upgrade. Plus that acer laptop is limited to 60fps. I mean it has a nice technical aspect to it. And works fine. It’s just I require more advanced gaming tech nowadays.

      @@RightWithGodMinistries yes it should but if you want gaming I would get something else. If you want work machine at a stationary place where you have access to a power outlet then it’ll do fine. More than fine. It’s a fun toy

    Is the EMR pen good and not wiggly/fuzzy when put on display?

      Mine is great. Idk I'm not much into the whole drawing but I made two paint projects on the 3d paint program it comes with. Very accurate and very precise you just have to focus on the spots. And responsive. Like it is pin point and well made for drawing. Perfect for blender sculpting .

    Does yours have a coil whine while idling? I have the exact same model and for some reason it stops the whine under load, think it’s the psu cus it still does it with gpu disabled

    Be warned on handling the screen though. I might have messed up some screen bleeding by handling the tilt off balanced and it cleans well with monitor cleaners just don't get grease on it.

    Hey I got the exact same laptop and mine wobbles as well! I guess that’s normal... I’ve called Acer before and they offered me an exchange with a new device but even the new device wobbles :/ The gap on the trackpad is also normal. But I do have to say that it’s a pretty awesome laptop!

    • @bluecollaredbill
      @bluecollaredbill  4 роки тому +1

      It dosnt bother me though. I use a mouse and I fold mine ezel way on my lap. But I think that because this is a art work machine it needs too be precise on the make. It could be that the screws are too tight or the make. The track pad feels good. But I did notice the track pad gap I didn't think it was a problem until u said something about it. It all works exceptionally good.

      @@keshaavsingh well I go on acer website for america and its only preorderable through office depot. I tried the pre-order but they seem to have only an agreement of sale when they get it. But who knows when they will get it. So for now its not available here in USA either but I could be wrong the only way to get it seems is to follow the link through acer to office depot and pre-order.
