She's not dumb. It's anxiety. Her answers are better when she's sitting down and the camera is on the 6, giving her time to think with a little less pressure. When she does the big money, her mind goes blank. After giving no answer at all in her first round (last episode), her chances were even worse in the second round at big money, but she pushed herself and at least said crackers. Richard suggested box of cereal which is not better than box of crackers. It's nerves. She probably regrets going on the show but is trying to make the best of it. IMO, we all think of box of chocolate because of Forest Gump, which was of course long after this show.
I don't think she'd dumb. Getting up there, with a group of "celebrities," with an audience, cameras, knowing it's going to be broadcast all over the world..... How the hell does anyone do that? @@katherynemero9355 it's true, but I think she was stuck on finding the obvious answers for both times she was up, and there wasn't. Both times had several answers, but that can stump you. I think I would have done the same thing, went blank.

How did this contestant pass the mustard? She was so annoying. I was thinking it was all staged as I watched just last week for the first time. (July 2021)
I've been watching these episodes in order from number one in 73 until now. I started in December 2021. So many strange things have happened that make me think it's all set up, The most obvious was the fact that a woman named Darlene Landon shows up in episode 717, I think. She was a contestant with Richard on the dating game in 72. Her sister was on the same episode. Richard chose Darlene for his date and they won a trip to the Bahamas. You can find the video of Richard and this woman on UA-cam. Maybe some of the show was legitimate but I believe most of it was scripted or planned out.
