Mary was on a episode of I Love Lucy n The Lucy Show she was good in both but I Love Lucy was the best titled The Ballet was really funny RIP Mary ur great
H/H match update and End-of-Week Recap: ... ~~~Today's action: Charles won it for our champion with his two-part answer: "Going to the bathroom quickly" and "La Potty." Today's audience match question: "Shake________ " (My thoughts: 'n Bake, Rattle & Roll, it off) The celebs: Richard ('n Bake), Richard (a leg), and Charles (Rattle & Roll) The choice: 'n Bake The answers: Hands, Rattle & Roll, and Bake Last time our champion went with Richard, but they didn't match. I doubt that will deter her from choosing him again. This is now Richard's 19th consecutive attempt at the head-to-head, and he's matched eight times so far during that extended run. This is now the third full consecutive week that he's been the only celebrity to play the head-to-head. Today's H/H question: "Church _______ " (My first thought was "mouse." A few other things come to mind, but I'll stick with my first thought.) Richard comes up with an answer right away and files it without hesitation. She says "Hill." I don't think I've ever heard of that before. Oh, maybe Winston Churchill? Hmm. Like Gene says, "You caught us with our blanks down." Well, unlikely, but not impossible... Richard gave my answer: "Mouse." No match today. ~~~The Week that Was: Five shows, six H/H questions (we squeezed two in on Tuesday), but four winners this time!: Richard 4/6 Another all-Richard week. He's monopolized the past three weeks in the H/H department, playing all 16 times, matching seven of them. His extraordinary performance this week gives him a comfortable margin ahead of Brett again, about four-tenths of one percent. Looking at the other panelists, Charles hasn't played for twelve weeks now. Joyce didn't get a shot either, remaining stuck at her incredible 75% accuracy (from only four attempts, though). Mary Wickes completed her second week (although she almost feels like a semi-regular already) without having a go at the head-to-head. And Ron Palillo finished his second week of five also without being selected by a contestant for the H/H. ~~~Looking ahead to next week, it's not only an all-veteran panel, but an uncommon week in which every single panelist has had some H/H experience! If Patty scores a match this week, it will be the first time ever with an entire panel of successful H/H players! -----Semi-regular Fannie Flagg, returning after two weeks off. This will be her 45th week (of 90). -----Old friend (he first appeared in episode 11) and Leader Board celeb Bert Convy, returning for his 12th week (of 13) He hasn't been on since 506-510, so it's been a long time. Likewise, it'll be a long time until his next appearance - episodes 1371-1375 will be his final visit to Match Game '7x. He doesn't have many opportunities left to improve his current stats: 5 wins in 15 attempts. -----And Patty Duke Astin, returning for her fifth week (of 14). It's been over 100 episodes since she last appeared (671-675). So far, she's been selected twice for the H/H, but has yet to score her first match. ~~~Here's our updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: (Note: An asterisk before a celebrity's name signifies that she has "retired" from the show and her H/H stats are now complete.) (Note: For tied scores, I consider the one with the greater number of matches to be higher; if the matches are equal, the celeb who first achieved that score goes on top.) Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: (*)Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Charles - 51.0% (27 wins in 53 attempts). Betty - 50.0% (18 wins in 36 attempts). Fannie - 47.8% (11 wins in 23 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 41.7% (195 wins in 468 attempts). Brett - 41.3% (26 wins in 63 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 780, excluding the lost/missing/damaged episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325, and 645. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
Hey horshack I love your little trademark laughing and your laughing too you are my childhood friend too and say hi to your friend Juan kiss him for me in heaven

Here’s the results for this week: Richard won again by a landslide giving away a total of $21,500. Go Richard! Brett also gave awat $1,500. Richard also won for the most matches at a total of 15. Charles came in second at 13 matches, Brett in third at 11, then Joyce at 10, Ron at 8, and Mary with 4.

Mary Wickes makes me chuckle! I adore her lol
The guy who is the contestant could be a twin for Joe Garagiola.
4:20 "every time there is someone under 20 on this show, she makes a fool of herself...."
14:08 "thank you Dr. Sommers...."
This is why the show needed Brett, to get the funny out of CNR!

Match Game was the only game show where the stars were allowed to drink and smoke
Not true! Ever watch Hollywood Squares there are shows where they are lit and smoking like chimneys.
"The Roman Spring of Mrs. Klugman!" Not that Ron would be any more useful to her than CNR or Richard Deacon!
Haha.
If there had been internet in '76, that remark would have won the internet!
I’d bring back a case of tequila!
What the hell is that drunk Brett laughing at that question?? Then she looks around for an answer peeling that marker. Ahh ahh ahh ahh aahhh aaahhh aaahh ahh 😱 ahh 😱 ahh!!!

Yea. There was no obvious joke there.....But I never watched Kojak much, so maybe there was something about a comb and a lawn that I missed.
