So, did you guys ever cover Looney Tunes: Back in Action yet? Or was it just a fever dream that I had...
Movie suggestion: Wish Dragon
Given how abrupt the real Jordan’s return from retirement was, this movie actually seems like a plausible explanation
In the spring of 1995, while Michael Jordan was still a minor league baseball player, MLB was in the midst of a player strike, which had been ongoing since August 1994, and which had resulted in the cancellation of the remainder of the 1994 MLB season, including the post-season. Heading into the 1995 season with the strike still underway, MLB determined to replace its striking regular major league players from its pool of minor league players for the 1995 MLB season if the labor dispute wasn't resolved ahead of the scheduled season start. MLB did commence the 1995 spring training exhibition games with rosters full of minor league players. Jordan publicly stated that he didn't want to get caught up in this. On March 18, 1995, Jordan publicly announced that he was returning to the NBA. On March 19, 1995, Jordan (wearing jersey number 45) suited up for the Bulls against the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis and scored 19 points in a 103-96 overtime loss. On April 2, 1995, one day before the MLB regular season was set to begin with replacement players, the MLB player strike ended.
He didn't retire, he was suspended for gambling.

Patricia Heaton from "Everybody Loves Raymond", & Dan Castellaneta from "The Simpsons" in the audience is the most RANDOM cameo casting I've ever seen.....!

So trueee 🤣🙌
But entirely possible considering random celebs get court-side seats at seemingly random basketball games.
That cameo still blows my mind to this day
I didn't know who either of them was at the time (and still don't know who Patricia Heaton is, other than from this comment) so I never realized they could've been playing themselves. Now I don't know.

That whole "Mickey Mouse organization" joke is actually a jab at the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, at the time owned by Disney and known as the "Mighty Ducks of Anaheim."
The joke is too clever for this movie.
They also had their own cartoon series.
Not funny
Gretzky also referred to the New Jersey Devils as a “Mickey Mouse organization” when he was disgusted by their quality of play
That's actually a great joke
Missed opportunity to remove a sin for Bill Murray's comment, "Larry's not white, Larry's clear."
🤣👍🏽👍🏽
Fun fact: this is actually true. Skin color is determined by how much Melanin you have, more melanin = darker skin. The less you have, the clearer and less opaque your skin is. This is why being albino is kinda bad, the melanin is there to act as a barrier and protect the inside from sunlight and if it’s missing there can be a bunch of problems. This is why you can see a “clear” persons veins much easier.

I think they took advantage of the fact that the monstars didn’t know anything about basketball and Michael wasn’t about to correct it if it could help them win

You see, by traveling up into space, and then descending back down, you cover more ground quicker. So yes. @vilcantroper actually, it is very relevant how slaves are acquired but you wouldn’t like that because it would upset your equally racist world view. You talk like slavery was invented by white people to oppress Africans. The form of slavery that was used to forward the economy of the Americas was a bad form but ignoring the totality of the history of slavery to play guilt wars does not help us to move towards justice. I want you guys to sin the crimaly underrated looney tunes back in action movie, I honestly love it more than this movie
Space Jam is way more memorable tho
Brendan Frasier. Now that was fun.
I love the movie because of the Dalek cameo ❤️
Back in Action slaps.
Cinemasins will refuse to acknowledge any positive qualities of it, as it did not pander to any Twitter hashtags. Sorry, thems the breaks :/
It’s not an everyday routine thing it’s a joke about all the sponsors he has
It’s basically the sellout scene from Wayne’s World, but speed up to fit the pacing of the movie
also _product placement_
45:28 (of the actual movie)
Bugs Bunny: "Look who's finally ready to play."
Whereas Michael Jordon makes an an impressive entrance with, "Fly Like An Eagle" playing in the background where he sinks no less than 9 basketballs.
Yeah I didn't see any sins on that - and no there shouldn't be.
Man, I was stuck on that song because of this movie xD
I still think I can fly
Reads title
How dare you
Yes
That’s 10 sins for Jeremy!
Bill Murry showing up at the last minute is pretty believable. Twitter has me convinced he just appears at random places all the time
Bugs interrupting that mid-game speech takes a new meaning now that I know a real speech from Mike would have involved lots of cursing, talking about your mother, and betting you he could take your girl if he wanted.
How could you oversee the most important one: In Michael's Final Throw / Dunk with the streched arm, he shoud've scored 3 points, since he jumped behind the line. But scoreboard only counted 2.
They didn't oversee it, they overlooked it.
And I am just now realizing how similar those words _should_ be even though they mean very different things.
3:51 According to Cyborg from Teen Titans Go, the reason the entrance to the Looney Tunes is underground here is becuz it's the looniest place the writers could think of.
🤣
Don't use a character from that crappy insult to the original show for reference.
@@jlev1028 Hey, Cyborg's Fun Facts were very educational, like I never knew how Bugs Bunny got his name or that Elmer Fudd was originally gonna be called Egghead
"He's sensational on his right but he's great with his left. They'll force him to his left"
ua-cam.com/video/-RAglyw6ySk/v-deo.html
18:35 How about a sin because they removed Pepe from the new Space Jam?
You know, even tho we can keep actual perverted cartoon characters in place like Quagmire and Herbert?
They added Speedy Gonzales, though.
They took Pepe out but put the rape gang from _A Clockwork Orange_ in the crowd scene. Because that makes sense. 🤮
Whoa let's take it easy on Shawn Bradley, he's not having a great year.
Cinima Sins:" So wait are we acknowledging that this is all a movie. Do we just remove all the stakes"
Looney Toon Real Life Action Movie: Oh Imma bout to end this man's whole career
21:30
WHY is this still a thing
Never thought I'd see the day of Cinemasins doing Space Jam. But now, it finally happened!
Oh yeah!
Suprised it hasn’t happened sooner tbh
@@christianparrish6647 Me too! About time. One thing though, there should've been a 3 sins removal for Lola Bunny seeing as how she was every boy's female rabbit fetish and crush 20 years before Judy Hopps in Zootopia. Coincidence? *I THINK NOT!!!!*
Here's a sin for you...in the scene where the aliens dress up in a coat, Debra Barone is somehow married to the T-ball guy (also Homer Simpson) "Our snack is pretzels!!" If any of you get that reference I'll be impressed.
12:54 when the WB execs realized that they caused internet riots by changed Lola's design for A New Legacy
I never noticed the wheelchair disabled parking joke, I love it 😂
Buggs Bunny: What Mickey Mouse organization would name their team the Ducks?
Cinema Sins: The University of Oregon?
SHOTS FIRED!
AH PHUQ IT! (puts on Duck head) HEY!-Lee Corso
@@donaldpaluga I thought he’d go after The Mighty Ducks.
Technically it IS a Mickey Mouse organization since their mascot is indeed Donald Duck.
I never realized Danny Ainge was in this movie and I’m a Celtics fan😂
