I agree. Another creator that has consistently delivered high quality content for years and years just like Serpa is Steve1989MREinfo. Completely different subject matter, but similar vibes in my opinion. Historia Civilis is also great.
Right? Not even sponsor messages which is even more amazing, considering how much work and money he puts into his videos, considering others just react to some irrelevant video, add nothing to it and have countless ads and sponsors. You can clearly see how much passion he has for this, especially when he mentioned how relaxing and enjoyable this was for him or when he went in and removed every tiny piece of debris from the moss. These videos are truly a pleasure to watch
I agree and really miss that after moving. But sometimes we need to do what we need to stay safe, healthy and happy. The angry alcoholic ex was best to leave behind, so had to say goodbye to my farm
I'd like an update on how well the anti-mosquito/gnat stuff worked. I'm really interested since I want to make a natural enclosure with moss but I hate having to deal with those larvae...
Wow, I swear if I could, my house would be filled with plants and scapes as unique as this. You never fail to inspire me....but my wallet soon brings me back down to earth 🤣😂
Tanner is definitely inspiring for sure. Unfortunately things do cost money but with the right tools and know how anything is possible and you most definitely can find almost everything recycled then just transform it into works of art. Almost all my diy builds are from recycled materials and rarely spend much of anything to put them together. But I do construction work and save a lot of scrap materials so that definitely helps. Maybe you can link up with someone who does construction and get bunch of free materials 🤷♂️ well I wish you the best and hope you can make some of your own builds soon 🙋♂️✌️
@@pumpkinchow Thank you so much for that lovely message. I too do a lot of DIYs to save the pennies. It's just when you see something like this....you want to go BIG lol. Thank you again for the nice message, and I too hope you have many happy DIYs ahead of you 👍
@@kieramoore6501 I also do construction and id be willing to bet that if you can find a company doing residential remodels or something similar locally, that they would love to give away materials that are otherwise taking up dumpster space. The amount of materials I throw away drives me crazy but I can only save so much.. it's not every day, but there comes a few periods on almost every job where we throw away excess lumber, drywall, tile, good carpet, cabinets... Plastic, foam, bubble wrap... Pallets, windows, doors.. You name it. Find a wealthy area, with old houses doing lots of remodels. Look for a sign, or ask for the contractors info and ask if you can save any materials that might otherwise end up in the dump. We always set out scrap metal next to the dumpster so the scrappers dont have to go digging. You might score some brass or copper if you keep your eye out.
I realized while watching this video that I've been following this channel for many years now, it's just part of my life. Thanks for that :-) It's so unique and wholesome. Take care!
This is art! Watching your projects over the years have always been fun but you keep stepping up your game and getting better at everything! Your craftsmanship and originality is commendable! Great work!
The very first moss installation reminded me of an episode of the OG Star Trek: The Trouble with Tribbles. Beautiful work, and Tony is always a great sidekick, esp on his own stylish sofa. Paz.
Going from feeling low depressed and looking out to the gloomy winter day to seeing you have a new upload! 😄 Looking around my garden to start a little moss jar today 😊
Hitting those edges with a little round over with a router will really elevate the finish look of the piece. Love the vid as always thanks! The dowel joinery is rly nice... I've enjoyed seeing your woodworking skills improve over the years!
This video reminds me I really need to make a moss something. I've never done any terrarium or anything else like that before, but I have so much awesome moss in my backyard. Time to find a nice glass container and a light...
Love it! Only thing I would have done different is stain the wood so it is dark, for me dark wood seems to really bring out the green in moss and make it pop. But to each his own, it still looks amazing! Much love from GA ❤
it looks so pretty. also - because of your channel and your appreciation for moss i started to look out for it in parks and pretty much anywhere and love to see it growing on trees!
Thanks for what you do , i went from sad and anxious of not making it in my Dream life, to successful and living my Dream. Your videos helped me so much , thanks for sharing your expérience. It improved my self confidence and everything started to work. Soon my turn to buy my home and there will definitly be a few sanctuary for life to exist and animals to live happy ❤ Love from france
Tanner was my first (and still absolutely the best!) YT channel. Even though every one of his projects is and has been excellent, his craftsmanship has increased exponentially over the years. The shear amount of his knowledge (woodworking, glasswork, bryology-I had to look that one up!, design, esthetics, etc.) and meticulousness just blows my mind. Thanks for all your amazing projects and allowing us to follow your evolution. Sending peace and love from Texas, Shari
🥹That little couch!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Made my heart happy. Also the first moss you put into the tank reminds me of Dr. Suess. Now I’m gonna go look for moss in my yard. I love the little rolly poleys that came along. Beautiful set up and loved the whole video. God bless and have a wonderful day. 🙏🏻
So ive watched you for a few years on UA-cam now. Started as an asmr type thing to help me sleep. Something about you/ your work calms me down and helps me to relax. As a side effect of this, im now well versed in the art of small ecosystems lol. Keep doing what youre doing please. Youre helping people in ways you might not realize.
This was a great build. I cant wait until the moss grows in more to make the 3d height contrast pop more. I will say, I think you could use a nicer hardwood to add some depth of tone and color, but the pine keeps the price low and it still looks great.
I really like the integration of good woodworking with your nature scapes. I would continue to improve your skill and create not only tank designs that awe and inspire, but in a nice finish, after all. wood is a part of nature too.
New SerpaDesign video let's go! I'm so excited, just from the thumbnail this looks so fun. I'm going to make a terrarium with moss soon, inspired by some of your videos, and this will probably help me too. It looks awesome!
That was fun to watch. I think learning a bit more about wood finishes and staining (judging from previous videos) would take your pieces to the next level. Thanks for continuing to create videos for us
I’m a journeyman level carpenter, a botanist, and a pest control expert… no big deal. But, seriously. You’re one of the coolest people on UA-cam. Thank you creating an amazing channel I can watch with my daughter to inspire our experiments and skill building.
I adore the moss but would have to included a miniature fern in the back. Loved the build though, wish I still had a workshop to do that kind of stuff in. I've kept all the tools in storage, but have no place to set up in.😢
the tiny beardie couch is so cute omg
Petsmarts cute little beardy couch.
Kinda want to get my beardy one.
What’s a Beardy couch and why was it automatically capitalized? 😄
IDK abt that, r u on mobile? And its the mini couch his buddy was on at the very top of the episode @@tamaramorton8812
@@tamaramorton8812 at the beginning of the video he had an adorable tiny couch for his beardie, aka bearded dragon.
Big Tony on a tiny couch.

Yes.

i agree
you talking over the grinding sounds is a blessing and I'm so thankful. I'm sensitive to that grinding/sawing sound, I appreciate you minimizing that.
Your woodworking has reached a new level. Those mitered corners looked clean.
It feels boring to always post "absolutely stunning" every time, but I can't help myself - it always is!!!!
The aesthetics of moss are just unbeatable aren't they!?
I'd like an update on how well the anti-mosquito/gnat stuff worked. I'm really interested since I want to make a natural enclosure with moss but I hate having to deal with those larvae...
Sealed with the glass on top 😂😂 also love the little couch for small company- Adorable!
Both right! 😂

I love Big Tony's couch, beside you, on your couch. Perfect for kicking back on a Saturday.

Beautiful! I was planning on building a moss terrarium today - the substrate recommendation was just what I needed! 🙂thank you!
Tanner, you could sell the plans for this table, if you wrote one up. It’s so unique and awesome!
Beautiful, Tanner!
I agree 💯 Collecting moss mid-winter when it’s dormant allows it to acclimate much easier/faster.
Excellent wood work and a cool idea. Can't wait to see how this looks in the future.
