      How do you keep these from molding? I tried one of these but it died within a couple weeks due to mold.

    I love how you basically built what could be a huge, inspiring landscape into a tiny space. I could just imagine being ant-sized and marvelling at this scape near some hidden jungle coastline.

    I’ve been thinking a lot and, I’m realizing how much of a positive affect this channel has had on my life. The hobby of aquarium making I’ve gained has added something really nice to my life and I really appreciate everything the whole SerpaDesign channel and ideas have helped me personally.

    it didn't occur to me that that little sand pit was actually going to serve such a smart purpose, literally thought you just wanted a zen sand garden to chill out with 😂 but using it to test out your scapes is so clever i love that.

      It's actually something fish stores now offer for their customers buying rocks and wood. Except breaking rocks into smaller pieces. I don't think they'd like that part. :D

    i've been following your channel since middle school and now i am majoring in biology. i just want to say your passion in this craft is really admirable and i feel like you're a big part of why i chose my field as well lol. this year i am planning to build my first ever full sized vivarium, soooo excited!!!

    really like this scape. Absolutely makes me think of those rocks that stick out of the ocean and have all the sides worn away so they get all these cool columns and pillars

    I always love your moss builds. I live in a very mossy area and I'm fascinated by it myself. One day, I make something like this, too. Thank you for inspiring me.     This is a beautiful piece. I agree completely that often less is more and this piece hits a perfect balance. That small scoop of sand up in the rocks where the water pools is just magical.

    Awesome Tanner, I used to build all types of these as a side business when I was younger. Custom made to each owner. I even drill large size of pumice stones for different effects. Lots of fun and great income.

    these are the builds I love most because I have a tiny space and can actually make them! thanks for the inspo! Also, if you ever want to test how stones work together, blue-tac is a really great method. It's easy to remove and can be re-used.

    It looks stunning Tanner!! I especially love how you just outside and bring in some moss and use it to create something beautiful. I use to consider moss a nuisance as it grows between stones on my patio, but I’ve come to appreciate it more since watching your videos. It has a beauty I didn’t recognize before.     Your work is so professional looking, I wouldn't take it amiss to see in a fancy shop. (I don't follow the channel closely enough to know all the intimate detail so forgive me if this is already the case, please.)
    It's also so beautiful and visually interesting. I always come away from these videos feeling calm yet inspired. This build in particular reminded me of visiting california as a lad and I found this tiny cave with algae growing all around it. I was able to fit in it back then! Thanks again

    Wonderful with mostly moss. Just enough water to make it ideal for many moss species, as they all seem to prefer slightly different levels of hydration. I see this in nature constantly, in the steep mountain streams of my homeland.

    I would love to see this done on a larger scale, like if the container you have the scape in could be like the size of a small coffee table and placed in the corner of the room or something. Just a cool giant rock and moss formation in the room!!
