I like the beach in Bucerías. For me, Bucerías is very busy with construction. Also no wonder Bucerías is called "little Canada" :)! Prices are also high for the area. So I have chosen to invest in a different area. But it is just my opinion!
Great, comprehensive video! My wife and I (+ 3 kids) bought a little place in Bucerias 18mo ago. We looked at PV and Bucerias. Though we love PV, Bucerias makes is so much easier to access the beach (our bldg is just 40 yards from the beach), and when we want a more lively environment (as we're not yet retirement age), we just drive into PV for the day/evening. It's also easy to head up to Sayulita, for example, from Bucerias. Our building completed 18mo ago, and it's amazing how the prices have crept up in that short amount of time. I guess the cost of living has increased everywhere, really. We love Bucerias, and are so glad we chose the area. We will be there 12/25 - 12/31 and will certainly, again, hit all the hot spots covered in your video!
Hi Larissa. Yes, Bucerias is growing like crazy. We've been coming every February for about 11 years now and noticed how expensive it has gotten. We don't know how much longer we will be coming here even though we love it here.
I believe Larissa said in one of her shows that she lives in Nuevo Vallarta, or Nuevo Nayarit as it is called now. . From her videos it looks like she is north of the Marina and south of the big Nuevo hotel zone. Somewhere in there, It is a beautiful and quiet area.
You can buy 3/2 homes in Bucerias in the 200k price range right now with a small private pool and community pool. Those high rise new developments are scalping people on those prices, insane.
We stayed in Bucerias almost every year for 20 years. It has changed from being a slow-paced Mexican town into a giant, overcrowded version of Disneyland. It is sad but true. The Rt. 200 "freeway" runs right through the middle of the town. It used to be a two-lane highway lined with grilled chicken kiosks and taco stands. Crossing the highway on foot is now extremely dangerous. Jake Brakes roaring constantly, incessnt construction noise, thousands of caged dogs barking. Bucerias is not a fun place anymore. Maybe I am partly to blame for visiting there in the first place so long ago. But the Bucerias of 1999 is gone. It no longer exists. It is now just North Puerto Vallarta with nothing unique about it. Whoever owned Bucerias sold it. Time to move on.
I totally agree with you, Bucerias is not the same colourful, charming town it used to be in 2000, when I first visited it . Too much condos, new constructions, noise.. lost its único :((((

I am with you ! Yes, Bucerias prices are very high, and honestly this town is not the same charming little town that it used to be 20 years ago.
@@LarissaSokla that is progress. I would think that will happen everywhere at some point.
Nice video. I subscribed. -Marc
Thank you Marc for watching and subscribing to my channel 😍
Hi Larissa, what area did you end up buying at?
I believe Larissa said in one of her shows that she lives in Nuevo Vallarta, or Nuevo Nayarit as it is called now. . From her videos it looks like she is north of the Marina and south of the big Nuevo hotel zone. Somewhere in there, It is a beautiful and quiet area.
Funny how those who complain about how there's too many foreigners are the foreigners themselves 😂
Larissa, where do you get health care and how much is it? Love your videos
I have Mexican MSS insurance and pay about $70 a month
Hola Amiga,
Looking fantastic. Great video. I am missing Bucerias. Will see you my friend 😊
Thank you! Mila !
It's miserably hot for half the year. Just rent and be happy you don't own.
Exactomundo
I liked Bucerias, but PV is more “me”…ie. Centro, 5Dec, Alta Vista! :)
I like Nuevo the best

That sounds a bit harsh. I’d venture to guess that there aren’t a lot of places still like that….progress will do that.
Thanks Larisa! Excellent video. Vlad
Your are very welcome 🤗
I love this video- I've been to Bucerias hundreds of times but you are showing me little gems that I have never seen before- love the boutique
