I for one was absolutely blown away by your video! My wife and I have decided to make Bucerias our home, (we have purchased just on the other side of the busy street) most of our friends can't understand why; but anyone watching this video would realize all of the reasons. We have literally watched dozens of other videos highlighting the area, but almost no one captured it as well as you! The kindness of the people, and their willingness to share, is something I strive for as a human being. You have captured the essence of Bucerias magnificently. 💗 Forever grateful!! This video is not just informative- frankly, it is ART. ❤️
Thank you very much for kind words. I am glad you liked the video. It was intended as art, you are right. I am not a big fan of a standard travel video: go there, eat this, see that. It is more fun to capture the atmosphere of a place and t is not difficult usually, it is right there on the surface of any place, staring in your camera.
One of the best videos . We are relaxed people , because we don’t have mortgage payments . We build our properties a brick at a time and at our own pace .we believe our hiuse your house ( mi casa es si casa). We believe if we have food for one have food for 2 more. We don’t worry about how much insurance insurance we buy because “we the people”,are our own insurance since we pool together in a time of crisis to support each other . We don’t worry too much about tomorrow because we understand that tomorrow will bring it’s own worries. we welcome each day as it comes because we understand we can’t own a day . We know that today we have today and tomorrow we have tomorrow , maybe . We know there is a God watching our back and are never alone . We see the good in each other and build on that. We are Mexican people😍 .
Wow my Russian amigo. You did an amazing job of telling this beautiful story about Bucerias, it's culture, and it's people. Even you accent did this narration mucho justice. I for one am proud for you and for the citizens of this pueblito. 🇲🇽🇺🇸
Great video, you really captured the Bucerias vibe, the people, food, culture, all those beautiful smiles. How can you not fall in love with this special town. Thank you for sharing
This is a wonderful Bucerias video! I first visited in 1996, and I now go every year. Last year, I was there for a bit of the rainy season. It's lovely, even in the hot hot summer! I loved seeing the other side of the highway (that's where I stay), and some of my favorite locals in this video. When I try to describe Bucerias, I tell people to watch your video for the best idea of what it's like.
Boris.... this is the best UA-cam video I have seen in a while - so impressed! You have talent. I am now so excited about Bucerias.... and your music is so good. Viva Mexico.
Thank you, Toronto star! For taking a time to comment. It means a lot to me. The music is from the Art-list. Young, less known artists try to sell their work on it.
Omg !! Just watched !!! Bravo !! You are a very gifted filmmaker, Boris ! I sincerely mean it. You have an eye, narrative and your own story to tell. Please continue to share your gift.
Excellent video! I've been traveling to Bucerias for decades and you've captured the "real" Bucerias with a very honest approach. It's a wonderful place to visit,or live, if you want to enjoyl the beauty of the Mexican culture in cool oceanfront town with a great beach and mountain views.
I loved your video. It shows that prosperity or poverty, the people of Bucerias always have a sincere smile on their faces. There is a lot to be said for the simple life. Thank you.
Every now and then the narrator sounds like Christopher Walken. Lolol. Going back to Vallarta in June and I will make sure we go to Bucerias for the day. Thanks for the video. Can hardly wait.
loved your video! It really shows Bucerias! It's not pretty like Puerta Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta, but it's got the best beach, the best food & i think the people are pretty nice! You put out an "Hola" & you'll always get an "Hola, Buenas Dias", right back! 🤗 At 1 minute & 51 seconds, (i think) you talk about June July & August... hot, humid, rain, you didn't know that so..... HAHA, perfect! job! i cracked up cuz that first 3 or 4 thunder & lightening storms really woke ME up!! HAHA. 😂
My husband and I are staying in Guyabitos in Feb/23 for a month but are looking forward to going to Bucerias and finding a place to stay here every year. Wish us Luck!!!!
@@boriskhamishon8831 we don’t need luxurious, clean bed, kitchen and bathroom. We like to cook ourselves down there and go out for dinner once and awhile. Your good is SO delicious!!!!!
Dr. Khamishon this is awesome! Thank you for sharing! I highly suggest a trip to Leon, Guanajuato & San Miguel De Allende which is not too far from Leon 😀
Nice style, and you're right it's an awesome area! If you come here in January, you'll be shocked at how many foreigners are here, many for the whole winter. Fantastic video! I think you'll be back to Bucerias, it does that to many 😆
Nice video, we have a home in Bucerias, across the highway and there are many ex pats who live over that side as well. Our Mexican neighbours are very welcoming, lovely people. I think there are many many people who know what a gem it is, winter is very busy. IMO the folks who don’t venture out of the Golden Zone are missing a great deal.
Wonderful, Boris, just wonderful. I am planning to visit Bucerias tHis winter. I feel very aligned witH tHis place too. tHank U . I‘m an ESL teacHer, world wanderer and a new subscriber 🙈🐵💓✨
The music is form artist.com. They have less famous artist that sell their music to creators. I don't think it is French. May be Spanish, but I am not sure.
That's because they are not greedy for money. We stayed in a house and the fruit and vegetables are largely seasonal. And most everything is local and the shrimp peddlers go down one street and up the next. Same with drinking water and propane. I saw and spoke to many locals and never picked up on any sadness or hopelessness. When you live in a place where you're not judged by what house you're living in or what your job is, there is less stress. There were few locals who displayed an air of entitlement. There were no stereotypical "lazy Mexicans" that we saw. Our stay was wonderful and we spent another winter in a small house near the big hotel. Fortunately they shut the noisy music down about 11pm. We also stayed in LA Cruz just north of Bucerias and in Puerto Vallarta many winters. In Nayerit and south of there we felt much safer than in the US. Saw virtually no violent people hanging around and no violence per se. Nothing like the north along the border with the US. We fly south next week. Vias con Dios (please ignore spelling) Be well 🙏
Boris I don’t know you but you did a tremendous job on this video. That area on the other side of the highway where you were is called beautiful hills. I recognized all of the neighborhoods and many of the people in this video. Great job man.I am Charlie from Boston mass USA. I just booked my third trip to Bucerias this year. I am from a poor neighborhood just outside the city of Boston called Dorchester. I loved the vibe in Bucerias, Bandera Bay was awesome the food was dynamite but what I like most was the wonderful beautiful and gracious Mexican people. They were poor but they were very kind and generous with me. That town and the people in it stole my heart I will be back for two weeks in November possibly looking for an apartment. I look forward to meet with my daughters in New York for Christmas and new year but I would love to be sitting on that beach in January eating a mango watching the sun go down, The tranquility and peace I found there were spectacular !!! My words are inadequate. Thanks for what you do Boris I will subscribe and look for more videos. Peace man

This is why I moved to Bucerias. I live on the "Eastside" of 200 and wouldn't trade it for the finest condo in Puerto Vallarta! Wonderful video!
I am jealous. May be some day, will become your neighbor. Tempted.

@Robyn could one be in Bucerías for 4 months without a car? is it easy to travel to nearby towns using public transportation?
@@angiehernandez5505 I have no idea. I see buses running back and forth on the main road, but have no idea how reliable the system is.

I traveled there this past summer. Great place with great people, but I got absolutely rinsed by the local police.
oh, i am so sorry to hear that about the local police. We got pulled over. but we DESERVED it.
Oh, wow, I believe you. They look very intimidating, armed and masked. They did not harass me, but I can see, where they get scary.
Amazing video! Thank you

The downtown area isn’t the golden zone. The golden zone is the southern part of Bucerías on the other side of the bridge.
You could be right. I don't think it is that important.
@@boriskhamishon8831 Yes, I am right. Why don’t you think it’s important?
Stand corrected.

Very nice video.
I like your video; very well done and professional tone. Were you affected by that recent hurricane?
No, but it was raining pretty hard at times.
well done!
Sorry, but I have to say it doesn't rain all the time.
Only during Summer Jul-Oct.
Winters are warm not hot.
What is "feels boogie"?
Short for burjua. Condescending for high class, rich, excessive.
I think he meant bougie, slang for bourgeois ;)
Soulful video btw, has a street photography, vibe which I like
