    I sometimes forget the amount of training I've had, that most others haven't. Keep on passing the good training/information.

    Lanyard on a light is very important, when dealing with malfunction or mag change.

    My favorite thing about Steve is the imaginary relationship we have together after listening to him on P&S

    I too took this one at FAS in the rain hahaha. Solid class. Wait I might actually be in this one, it was in February a couple years ago lol.

      Nope it was the year after. Anyways, this is one I highly reccomend if anyone is on the fence about it. Low light stuff with Yeti is good times and a lot of learning occurs lol.

    Question from a beginner. Why go back to your hand held after shoot if you have a weapon light?

    Nice training, thanks for taking us along. What were you using to store your handheld light? A dedicated light pouch or just pocket carry? I didn't see it listed in the gear link. Thanks for your time!

    Any particular reason you dont use the slide release? I found the pdp to have easily the best slide release in the industry, so I'm curious why you wouldn't take advantage of it.

      Because I shoot all kinds of guns, to include my Gen2 Glock 17. One way always works. :)

    Seems like a solid basic low light course.

    mmm ..ILLUMINateing! ..(cough) ..Promptly removed my x300 from my carry piece and went strictly handheld due to taking this course with Steve. Good dude and should be on everybody's short list of instructors on their path to enLIGHTenment ...Ill show myself out.

    • @axlplayer14

      Why remove a weapon light? Why not carry both?

    • @Irishknukldrgr
      @Irishknukldrgr 2 роки тому +1

      @@axlplayer14 Im just a regular guy and carry appendix and I just dont need all that. Like Kit says here, you are searching with your flashlight for the majority and waving your gun around searching is ill advised. It has its place for sure.Very limited circumstances. I highly recommend the course .

    • @Slipknotfanatic89
      @Slipknotfanatic89 2 роки тому +2

      Nonsense. Have both, and use the right tool for the job. A weapon light is not a substitute for a handheld, and vise versa.

    • @Irishknukldrgr
      @Irishknukldrgr 2 роки тому +2

      @@Slipknotfanatic89 I should mention the Course was not designed to discourage one from carrying a weapon light on their handgun. As stated , I mentioned place and time for both and most of my places and time rarely require a pistol mounted weapon light, so, I streamlined my EDC. Feel free to use my death in the streets due to lack of weapon light to prove your point .I made a choice .You make yours .

    Lot of those people look like they just left their couch after watching a shooting movie

    • @kennethkanaiff6242

      And? They are out there on the range getting good instruction, not on the couch. When's the last time you have gotten off the couch and taken a class?
