The long videos really show the level of detail Tread gets into. Superb.

23:54 could be a whole video on it's own. I think a lot of ppl want 20-30 different drills to do searching for the "best" drill. But how drills are coached and cued make a drills efficient or inefficient.

I know you guys aren’t doctors but what are your thoughts on injured pitchers getting the cortizone shot. I currently have inflammation in my elbow and i’m going through rehab right now with my uncle who’s a physical therapist. He said that the shot is a quick fix but it can weaken the tendons. Could you guys possibly make a video on that. Thanks guys

Obviously we are not physical therapists, but addressing the underlying cause of the issue in the first place is essential working from proximal to distal to identify the contributing factors is always an appropriate approach. For chronic inflammation cortisone shots are a quick fix but do not address what caused the issue in the first place.

What’s your opinion on summer ball? As a high school coach in Texas it’s hard to plan sometimes because kids stay at “in season” intensity from February to October. Been trying to explain to them that expose is great if you have college ready stuff. In my opinion if your 16 and sitting 75 there isn’t a real reason to throw 85 pitches every weekend. Your thought

*a lot of travel teams now have fall schedules, so they play from may to July take off august and then play from September to October

Speaking as a player here, i’ve actually asked my coach to take fall ball off so i can have an extended offseason. I agree that at younger ages for most players development should be a bigger priority than exposure

If the kid is in high school he should 100% be playing summer ball somewhere. If the kid wants to get noticed by college coaches summer ball is the place to do it. Coaches are out looking for upcoming classes and are less busy due to not being in school/ season

@@cjaythrows lol college coaches don’t wanna see a bunch of kids throwing 81. It’s hilarious how many parents think paying 3000 dollars a summer is gonna make there kid better. No being GOOD gets you college offers, not playing 200 games a year

@@tmoney8122 paying for showcases when you aren’t at a certain skill level is dumb and that’s the mistake I see most, but playing summer ball gets you better, if you’re a high school coach you should want your players playing somewhere instead of playing video games all day. And you’d be surprised how many guys are recruited throwing low 80s in high school because of potential.
