dude, thank you!!. I saw your videos and bought a dump trailer and im building my website now for the material sales. im a multimedia artist moving into the dump trailer business. thank you for making these videos. I start officially next week. fingers crossed. god bless you.
I have the F250 on my personal but it wouldn't hurt to put it on your commercial. As for having both I'm not sure I can speak on that. It seems excessive but it's a good question.
How do you advertise rock/material delivery? How do you have it set up? I have a dump trailer I rent out as well, looking into doing delivery and hauling as well
In what order did you set everything up? Or will that be a later video? ..Register business, purchase trailer, add insurance, liability/insurance forms, setting up payments.. etc.
Oh, and in your expenses, you forgot to factor in how much your employee costs and how much fuel costs and how much weight fees cost those costs to dude and then there’s that whole thing called insurance
Did you look close? Insurance is there and yes I understand about these other things. I don't have any employees. I've already talked about incorporating fuel and repairs and all fees are on there otherwise. Give me a break. It's just the beginning.
Progressive commercial and most of the time when a customer picks it up their personal insurance covers it but not always. Still looking into more details on this.
@@Haroldsheavyduty Thank you for answering. We have a dump trailer for our welding and machine shop business. We used it to haul our own scrap to the yard and our skid steer for other projects. I am thinking of renting it out as it sits quite a bit. I was in the insurance industry for about 15 years on the personal auto claims side. Be careful if a customer has a personal auto policy. Everyone policy can be different but the majority of personal auto policy will only cover $500 for a non owned trailer. We have auto owners for our commercial and general liability I am going to look at our policy and see if we have the correct coverage for rental.
Progressive commercial. I'd have to doublecheck but generally peoples insurance will cover it once as hooked up to their car. I would just do a little research as idea a little complex.
It's a movable dumpster that can attach detach via trailer. You see that a lot and peoples driveways when they are doing renovations and at construction sites.
You can rent these trailers for $100 dollars a day you know those big fancy dump trucks running around they also make home deliveries don't waste your money thinking this is a cash cow buy it because you need it yourself
Dude, you have to actually explain how you do the business and what you’re doing instead of just showing you on a field trip for a day driving around nobody gives a shit about that. They want to know how you do it.
People love Vlog videos, I don't know what you're talking about. You don't need to be rude. Also yes I understand what they want and I will be making more videos…

Hey man please show us how you do this how you price rentals and how you get the contracts
I will in the next video
That is an absolute thing that everyone has to figure out based on location, your cost, and your dump fees.
this is amazing. Can you explain how did you set up the contractor account please?
just call the landscape yards and get registered
simple
How hard is it to set up a contractors account and what do you need?
Are you counting fuel & wear on equipment in those expenses?
In the beginning no but now yes. I don't have much wear currently but I've started incorporating fuel which is fairly minimal.
Hey Brother
Show us how get the leads and rent it out
I can make an in depth video in this in a few weeks!

What was your fuel for that month of May. Sure that cut into those profits
Fuel for May was about 150. I didn't start putting it in until the next month on Excel. It really wasn't that bad.

What type of insurance policy do you have to protect the trailer when it is being rented by a customer?
Progressive commercial and most of the time when a customer picks it up their personal insurance covers it but not always. Still looking into more details on this.

What commercial insurance do you use?? and does it cover renting the trailer to other people?

Do you charge be the mile ?
Please show us how to do this
I will

So so far so good! I really like their trailers. It's a 7ga, yes.
