God bless him for coming to Ireland. We never seen his smiling eyes again !
He tried to do good, he was courageous but they took him out and his brother too.
Thank good ol LBJ for that one.
@@johnp556 exactly right. I actually said your exact comment word by word literally no joke in another video of him before I saw it 👍💯
To see a leader who is so proud of his country, and gives us so much hope is such a rarity today
He was my favorite president and Irish like me😊💓🍀
My favorite president and I'm of Italian descent :) such admiration towards him and my beloved Irish friends
It's hard to watch this and not shed a tear, when you know he was later shot in Dallas.
I’m from Dallas and when we travel to the city we end it by driving by the place where he was shot and there’s an x in the middle
Thinking that too 😕. How long after
@@mariamoyles189 Less than 5 months later. 22 November to be exact.
JFK and his brother are my biggest hero outside of my own family :)
From a fellow American with Italian descent
God bless the Kennedy's and the Irish
Pres.Kennedy knew how to make those who welcomed him feel warmly accepted and take pride in their kinship with him.He was a full-blooded Irish and we understand why the welcome he received was fit for more than a head of state but a returning triumphant son in whom the welcomers were very proud of.
...God Bless JFK.... a wonderful smile....beautiful sad Irish eyes....miss him today...'-|
Why no comments???A very historical event in Ireland.💚
My beautiful dad Peter Galway born, appreciating, deeply admiring President Kennedy. 🇺🇸 🇮🇪 💘. Me too. 😃
JFK was a symbol of grace. Its so difficult to see such graceful traits in d incumbent.......
He was a man that throughly enjoyed his job as president of the USA.
I've never seen this before. I knew JFK visited Galway/Eyre Square but have never seen any footage. Thank you
There’s an entire documentary he even visited family and his grandmother or aunt and when he said he was leaving she said she wasn’t and he had to stay 😂 it is said that every Irish home has a picture of JFK which is really interesting
Kennedy was so well loved in Ireland. It wasn't uncommon to find a photograph of the Pope and a photograph of Kennedy proudly hung in the home of an Irish Catholic family. It is so sad to think that kennedy would be assassinated months later in Dallas.
So sad he was so happy in 63.
Great Times of my Youth. I slept well and Knew My Father and Our President were vibrant and Men of Values. I will Never forget those days of Attempting to get into Space and My Fathers beautiful Smile. I also remember him going to the voting booth as I tagged along. I asked him who he voted for......He said ,I voted for the Man who will be remembered as the Man who Changed America!
We were so lucky to have JFK. He was amazing.
I WAS THERE 11 years old he came I saw him
@@Felled-angel you weren't
I am watching this now 60 years later. I loved him as President. Always will.
"I'll be back in the Springtime." JFK upon leaving Ireland, 1963.
Heartbreaking to witness his last summer.
Best man ever can't believe he came to Galway where I live
If one looks at the record, the people he took on, what he was going to do, he really was extraordinary.
@@nmatthew7469 and is said every Irish home had a picture of him
@@SpeedyWings2323 his brother Robert was really an intense man, he was going to go after who took out his brother but alas they got him too.
I cant imagine the total sorrow that must have engulfed the city of Galway on November 22
Nice collection of film and speech
We miss you,the Hero of the world,JFK. R.I.P., Sir.
My family is from Galway my great great grandma Mary Mulryan birthed 31 children
Amazing!! God bless.
My dad's from tuam galway
And a megawatt smile😀
Here in 2020 after reading Killing Kennedy. What a historical President he was.
56th Anniversary yesterday...

He visited my county!
Awesome USA President John F Kennedy, visiting, near Knights Templars castles,ie tombs, near BRUFF Ireland, from BRUFFETT USA, John Robert BRUFFETT Junior USA flags!!!!!!
Nice man sad hes gone RIP rest in peace
I was in the 5'th grade at St. Michaels school, our Nun/teacher walked into our classroom and while crying, announced that President Kennedy had been killed in Dallas. The school was dismissed.
How could anyone not love the greatness of JFK.
R.I.P jhon f Kennedy
I love him
Love is raining from folks ,after Dublin .
He is a neat man.
Yes he did.Even as he drove through Dallas. Before he was killed. He appeared to be quite happy. To be among the American people. With the tumultuous welcome. He and his wife received.
Perhaps his memory and others.Who gave their lives for America.
Will inspire Americans to seek a new path of greatness.
Not in hatred, humiliation, denigration and disrespect for fellow Americans.
Who are different in skin colour, political and religious beliefs and gender.
May America continue to fulfill the destiny. That God has called her to.Through the dreams, aspirations and work.Of all who call America home.
I will say there's a monument in Eyre Square....but it's of the right side of his face.....kinda of dark considering...
Most famous and respected of all times.
My father was bike number 3 RHS motorbike to JFK's RHS. Jim Dempsey Edenderry Co. Offaly. 5:30
Would you have any idea what they were riding?

@@jamescornflake1542 Thank you very much!
@@azul8811 I am very sorry. I just asked my father. He said it was a brand new 1963 Triumph 250 cc. All bought new for the visit.
@@jamescornflake1542 Ah, okay. Last night I was viewing a number of film clips of JFK’s visit over there and I was scrutinizing the motorcycle escort. Thanks for the info.
Thanks Kennedy's Stone Bruffett and Beasley WW2 families, American flags
Now it's time for Trump to visit Kallstadt, Germany
He's all alone. Where is Jackie.
Jackie was pregnant with Patrick who was born premature and died 3 days later. Her trip to Dallas was her first major trip after they lost Patrick. He is hurried next to JFK and Jackie.
This is the time when believed US as the saviour of the world but not now......
When he arrives at the City Hall, it's Cork not Galway. Notice it's a different Lord Mayor than at the start!
THE END OF INNOCENCE IN OUR REALITY

Here we go
Plenty of clergy all over the place pity they didn't bring him to a few of their industrial schools..show him what real ireland was like at the time
Wasn't he a proven Adulterer? Didn't he send the first troops in the Vietnam war that caused chaos in the country he and his family adopted?
