Great review! I'm torn between the all black model you have, and the black and gold model they make! I have a feeling I'll end up getting all 3 eventually! lol
I just ordered the Rdunae R2X off Aliexpress. Says I should get it by November 17th, we will see. I have watched many reviews and everyone that has gotten it says it is well worth the wait. Thanks for the review on this one, it will be my next one to get. I have wanted a Capt. Willard for a long time now, but can't afford an original or the reissue.
It has been almost 3 years and I actually just got the latest batch with some new improvements. It's funny I actually find it amazing that you can get a watch with properly applied markers and date frame for this price. I have a few SPB Seiko divers and they are all just stamped markers with printed lume on top. You have to pay like $3000 or more to get that on a Seiko nowadays.
@@JustWatches1 just received it! The 6105-8110 is beautiful!! I will be throwing in a seikosis proof dial and a mineral crystal high flat top ! Keeping it stock is gorgeous as well!
@@JustWatches1 Liking it a lot. I've been on the hunt for a vintage 6105 for a while and just haven't found one in the right condition at the right price point, yet. The Rdunae definitely scratched that itch I had. I did find the band to be a bit uncomfortable and am much happier with the Barton Elite Silicone strap instead.
@@JustWatches1 So far no one on UA-cam has done the tactical frog 300 T version three review. Probably because everybody bought the version one and version two like I have but they didn’t bother with a third version where everything is proper and fixed
I think what you meant to say is Seiko only did reissue of 8110 case (SLA033) and not this 8000 case. 8110 case (Willard) is more popular than 8000 case but I love both. I'd be over the moon if Rdunae would make a Willard case watch like this one with great accuracy and details to the original. This one is almost a perfect 'reissue'. I have Willard from other company like Steeldive although still good watch for the price it's not a perfect copy of the original.
I don't remember and have since sold this one. However, I bet that dimension is in the Spencer Klein review: ua-cam.com/video/NkfSd1FuXVo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=SpencerKlein There are two parts and he compares it to a Seiko original which was interesting to see!
This watch is also available to purchase on AliExpress. This exact brand. From the iFashion-watch store on AliExpress. It goes for $189 there. The compass a nice range of beautiful, well made watches. I plan on buying this exact model (8000 style case). I already have a Addies Dive “Captain Willard” homage that I absolutely love. It’s the 8110 style case. It’s not an exact 1:1 of the original, but I’m ok with that. I’m not looking for authenticity, just wanted to have a watch that was similar, but with the exact case shape. The whole reason for wanting these watches is the case shapes, for me at least. Anyway, great video. I’ve liked and subscribed….excited to see more from you as a reviewer.
In my opinion, the only thing good about this watch is the case. And maybe the bezel. I wish I could mod this and replace the hands and the face. The logo annoys me to no end. I honestly thought this would be a higher quality watch, especially after watching another reviewer rant and rave about how this was what Seiko should have made. Not terribly impressed.
Just found your channel and you are killing it!!! Keep it up.
That is a very nice thing to say, thank you!
I bought mine back in January and I love my Rdunae 6105.
Great little watch!

Great little watches, and I agree, it is hard to choose!

I think you will enjoy this one. It’s too bad Seiko charges so much for their reissues.

Seiko QC is very bad unfortunately.
Damn, I want one now
Haha, sorry - this hobby is addictive :(
Very nice watch and review. Only thing I wish was different was the lug size. 20mm is just so much more convenient.
Totally agree!
Great watch and now Rdunae are bringing out their 6105 8110 in November 21, which looks fantastic.
I saw that, looks really cool!
Great review! My rdunae 6105-8110 should be arriving any day now from wr watches! Can’t wait to wear the new Willard from rdunae!
Awesome, that one looks great, let me know your impressions when you receive it!

Just got mine. The model that has the NH35 movement has 4 dots on either side of the arrow on the bezel making even more accurate to the original.
oh interesting, that's cool- how are you liking it?

An excellent choice. I bought the Seiko version then bought the Rdunae version.
Nice, yes, this is a great homage!
I love my tactical frog Doxa homage with the same movement, I’m considering getting this one though
Oh nice, I want to check one of those Doxa homages out sometime.

Thanks for the correction. My vintage watch knowledge is seriously lacking. I hear good things about Steeldive, might check one out someday.
Thanks. Is the dial 28.5?

Is it the exact same watch as the Seizen 6105 except dial?
Most likely, I think most of these are made in the same few factories with different brand names.
Do a review on the retangular rdunae captain willard ?
I can look into getting one, thanks for the suggestion.
Great Review 👍. They are sold out any chance you can Review another Homage of same model
possibly! I will keep an eye out
They're back in stock on WR watches

Where is this made? Thanks.
As far as I know these are manufactured in China.
Shenzhen, which is China’s largest manufacturing hub (it is located next to Hong Kong).
@@DutchBulldog Movement is made in Malaysia while the watch itself is made in China.
