I’ve the current challenger (108) with a blue dial and ex-challenger (140). 108 is my favorite of the two and it is not subdued and its sunburst is quite prominent.

I'm a Japanese person who likes Orient Star, but even in my country, their reputation is very low. Sad.😢

Love that domed crystal. I have the 4050-02L on an oyster style bracelet but with a slightly less pronounced dome, so I’m a wee bit envious of yours.

Not that I would disagree that they should've spend that 30 cents and splash a drop of phosphorus on the hour markers, but you can tell the time from the hour and minute hands for sure, you always have a point of reference - your wrist. You know where 12 is all the time :).

Very nice, but a big dial so presumably will also wear big. Same problem with the otherwise beautiful EFR-S107D. Casio do make some odd decisions

I own The Black version and am here to tell you this is my favorite sub $1000 Diver's watch. The Triton blows everything that SEIKO has to offer under $1000. This watch is beautiful and robust. SEIKO TURTLE, SKX, SUMO, MM200 reduced, SHOGUN come no where near this masterpiece. The only contender would be the MM300 and the TUNA 300M though the Orient Saturation Diver 300m would destroy them easily. I have a 6 and 3 Quarter inch wrist and it wears comfortably with Rubber Straps and Nato. QC is 100%.

Beautiful dial & value for money. I hope that San Martin will look at other type of movement instead of the NH34 & 35. ❤

Great looking watch, loaded with specs. I'm ok with the minute and hour hands. I'm not a fan of Mercedes hands or hands with arrow tips, so the hands provided is fine. I guess my only gripe would be the center polished links of the bracelet. I wish that they would offer all brushed bracelets as well. That being said, nice review. Enjoyed it.

I would love to get this watch, but as of 2024 they are rare as hens teeth, when they do come up for sale, looking shy of a grand (Australian dollars). I do own the M Force Beast, and crown wobble is notable on this as well.

I just picked mine up today. It's very comfortable to wear. The lume is incredible, and noticeable even in daylight ! My only initial grumble is when the minute hand is passing under the cyclops, it clutters the day / date view due to the magnification and slight distortion. That's a very minor niggle. I'll soon get used to it. And overall, it's a great looking timepiece. My next purchase is the reimagined pogue chronograph.

So pleased to finally see a fresh review of the Falcon. Great videography and commentary. I have checked out the other homage watches but I think this is the best vintage inspired one by far. I was a bit concerned by the dial size being too small but I think this is an optical illusion because the acrylic dial is so domed. I will definitely be picking one of these up!

Huge fan of this watch. Really hope for a gen2 with tweaks, personally, for me the hands/markers dont all seem to follow the same design language. Maybe the hands are too thin, and the GMT looks a little odd. Still want one!

Does the alignment of the numerials on the bezel bother anyone else? I feel like the numbers arent evenly applied on the bezel. Like one number is hogher then the next number on the bezel.

I got this in Blue stainless steel and with a date, and i just love it ! Also runs very accurate for me. It must be one of my best watches to wear, so easy to read the time on it too.

A far better Casio comparison would be the Oceanus range. Particularly the OCW-T200S and similar. JDM only I know, but freely available from a multitude of JP sellers. Some of the JDM Pro Treks would also fit.
