That's the dialectics of it! Adorno wrote sth similar about the feeling of being awestruck by nature: it is only because we as humans don't have to be afraid of nature anymore that we are able to have that sublime moment.
Hey, Antoine, something not related to the video. I was just wondering, if you could recommend some great Bulgarian Auteurs whose films I can watch, it will be a great help to me as I am doing a European film history course online. Would love to see your recommendations.
Although i could search the internet for it. You are a person whose cinematic taste and knowledge I can wholly trust. Looking forward to your recommendations. (It will be good if the films are available on Criterion Channel or MUBI but I don't have any problem renting or buying the film from any where)
@@thebutcher1346 Hi, I am going to disappoint you, because in my opinion, there are no Bulgarian auteurs. Directors have never had supreme authority over Bulgarian films, which in my opinion means that there has never been "Bulgarian cinema". All the great Bulgarian films are filmed theatre, or "photographs of people talking" to quote Hitchcock. This is only my opinion, of course. So, I'm sorry, but I can't recommend you any Bulgarian auteurs.
when i watch this guy it makes me feel like he is the alter-ego of jordan peterson..... btw i do not like them both and this is because they are pseudo intellectual and too stuck in ideas, taken by past philosophers and thinkers, one in alt right and the other in the alt left ......FFS we need someone inbetween ...they should start working together because the answer is not left nor right is in the mid .....we need undogmatic intellectuals that can bring solutions that can be practical and formulated in the real world....philosophers who think outside the box of political ideologies and stupid utopian theories who could transcend humanity rather than just pointing out the obvious

Congratulations to Slavoj Žižek on nearly reaching Vicarious by TOOL level of thinking.
he developed the ideas before vicarious by tool. So congratulations to Tool for reaching Zizek's level of thinking with instruments?
