I'm a newbie to pkp. My friend gave me hers which was 6months old as she got the max for Christmas. I'm doing chicken legs now for dinner for kids and I'm glad I found you
That's looks really gorgeous! Its hard to know at first what times to put it on for , your doing great! Cant wait to see what your going to do next !xxx
Do you need to do stock with every meat? I would have thought stock would make it soggy sorta instead of nice and dry and crisp cos of the browning earlier. Or does the instructions say it needs liquid in and you cant rely on the fat juices instead? Glad the stew function to brown that i mentioned worked out.
Hi Paul from what I understand when cooking meat you need some kind of liquid for pressure to build up but we will keep trying new things to gain more experience and yes thanks for the tip about the browning 👍
You know when the 25 mins meat timer bit was done, how long was it till u took the lid off and took it out as im guessing it might have cooked fine but you might need to allow the chicken to still cook and leave it in for 10 mins while the pressure is releasing slowly, then it might not be as pink inside next time and not need to do another timed cook of 15 more mins. I might be well wrong of course but its just a feeling it might work this way.
Btw for a bit of fun why not try a match between this device and ur soup maker and see which device makes the better soup. Same ingredients, same time switch on etc all on vid. :)
The reason it took longer than 25 mins, is because it has a skin. The book says that meat with skin, has to be sliced into, which is what you did when testing it, had you done that first, 25 mins would have been fine
It certainly does Debra 😁 I'm sure we will get used to it the more we use it, I've always been a bit wary of pressure cookers but this one is great, no noise and really safe
I'm assuming your oven chicken is a small one. A full size one is normally about 90 mins from my experience to be cook fully. Also I find oven cooked chicken can bd dry whereas in the pkp its so juicy

That's great news. There's loads of recipes online. Enjoy your pkp
@@TheWrightTimes I've found recipes online that say set pressure cooker to high, but the pressure king pro doesn't have this what shall I use instead
Wow this looks yummy .I must try this thank you so much .
That chicken looks absolutely gorgeous. We are hungry again after watching your video x
Sharon the chicken was so good, definitely putting lemon in again had a much nicer taste x

Was so good Ger, I would have been impressed with 25 mins but 40 is still pretty good, I'm loving using it xx

Oh and you did remove the gibblits first yeah? lol. Just you never mentioned em.

There wasn't any giblets in chicken just a tiny bit that fell out before I put it in the pot, they seem to remove them first these days from butchers
From Romania, thank you for the video!
Will try this thanks
Looks mouth watering well done 👏👏.
Thanks Michael. It was delicious

Not a bad idea Paul
While it's cooking..does the timer count down at all?
Yes it does

Ahh I see. Thanks for that. Handy to know
Can I ask if chicken was any way rubbery. I've tried it once and thought my chicken was rubbery
No it was really soft and moist. Just fell off the bone
Does the pressure cookers come with a recipe book?
It does normally when you buy it new but we bought it off Facebook marketplace but there are thousands of recipes online
Given up - try getting the lid to line and fit...
Our works fine but occasionally if we are not paying attention we misalign it so it won't go on
Practice makes perfect x

40 mins seems long time my oven takes 60 mins

Are you both losing any weight ?
Yeah all 3 of us
