Empire has the best culture and benefits from policies that no other kingdom can because of their starting bounces, and that 20% less to garrisons is huge. Garrison wages in the mid-game run one bankrupt. Empire is one of the best for beginning a kingdom; on the flip side, if you like playing as a merc, you will make far more money with Valandia. The As-err-Eye is best for trade builds. It just depends on what your build is.
I like their troop composition too.
I just saw this video again on my recommended... its crazy to see how much your audio has changed and how we've gone from this campaign to no recruitment campaign or axe throwing campaign lol.

Sorry about that, thanks for the feedback though! I will try to fix it, but I will be honest I bulk recorded a bit of these. Also just curious, do you use speakers or headphones for audio?

Edit: Combat skills always seemed a bit wasted to me in the character creator - we can level up 10 points of riding, bow or whichever in a single battle but 10 points in Roguery, Leadership or Medicine etc. takes *time* - we can capture and release a minor clan member or three for the first 50+ points in Charm but Trade is a slow tick, at least we can constantly work on it. The Vlandian build that starts us with 50 in Roguery [campaign] is slightly OP though - looting balanced and masterwork gear from low tier bandits and the ability to recruit them without morale loss from day 1. Glad to see some love for the ancestors of Hakim. Or is it Arwa's line?
I agree with you, but I wanted to be able to become a tank that could not be stopped. So I loaded up on the combat skills.
