Agreed, at least Clary is young and has been thrown into a world she knew nothing about and was completely unprepared for so that I forgive her a bit. I feel for Jocelyn trying to protect her daughter but not at everyone else's expense.

Clary is not her mother. I dislike Jocelyn so much. She was a coward. Clary on the other hand is not a coward. I was actually kind of glad Jocelyn got killed off, who knows what she would have done to make sure clary moved with her.

Expecally with Alex hurt, Magnus wanted to both remind her that he is a warlock and is very powerful and also because he has to take his magic out on something before he doesn't something that will in the long run hurt both him and Alec.
I love Magnus for standing up for Alec to Jocelyn. Both Jocelyn and Clary do everything to protect each other at the expense of the Lightwoods its not okay! Also to me Jace is a Lightwood too
